    Does anyone have any updates on the next major system!? I've heard tons but seen none (hey, that kinda rhymes!). Can anyone help me in this subject?

    triple core IBM power PC 64bit cpu running at.. oh, 3.6Ghz~
    I supose 512MB of total system ram and dynamically divided in segments like the original xbox
    an ATI R520 video card (think the thing has a more advance Radeon X800pro in features not speed wise, remember... shared bandwidth)
    I could explain more on the cpu and gpu if anyone wants to be bored with fiddling words like "shader models 3.0" and "Anisotropic filtering" :p lol

    although... I would still prefer an PS3...

    I think I will only get the PS3 when it's out...sometime in 200x

    Likewise, I'll only be getting the PS3 when it comes out. I'm not a big Xbox fan to be honest. I used to own one and it just sat there for about two years. XD

    harhar har... it appears microsoft will just have to retire from the console world :) american console games sucks badly... EA I think is the only decent division (well and the sport games that I don't care much)
    everything I like was originally jap...
    GT series
    devil may cry
    capcom games...
    and some WWE wrestling games.... must have "The Undertaker" the old one with the purple gloves :p I don't like the new one
    etc etc etc

    But then again, I will have a PS2 by the left side of my tv, and a PS3 on the right side.

    What's next? A PSone and a PSP on my Sony Tv? GO SONYISM!

    Hey, i want to get X-Box 2 as well as PS3, actually more. In my opinion, i like the X-Box conrtoller more than the PlayStation, besides, like X-Box had Halo and Halo 2, X-Box next is going to have Halo 3, wich is by now the only next-next generation console game that is known to come out.

    Regarding the PSP, i WOULD get it, if it wasn't so expensive. $249 for a lonesome handheld seems like a lot, no matter how good the graphics.

    But for now, i'll stick with my regular X-Box and PS2. No, not gamecube.

    Xbox 2/Next had announced recently that it will actually support 720P video games. Thus, resolution is extremely high for the next-next gen system. Supposedly, the 2/Next will be supporting an HDMI (High Definition Monitor Input) plug, so those people who love the bling will get more bling for the bang.

    I have heard nothing about backwards compatibility...but if it doesn't...M$ is gonna lose a big cash cow.

    Can't wait for it though. Madden 20xx in 720 Progressive Scan. *rawr*.

    [​IMG]Halo, Halo 2, Knights of the Old Republic, Robotech: Battlecry, Fable, MechAssault, Grand Theft Auto, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem... well, I could go on, but I'm not going to bother listing all the good American (or non-Japanese at least) games. There are LOTS of crap Japanese games, but they get filtered out when they come over here since nobody bothers translating a stinker.

    Yes, Support Sony. I myself am a huge fan of Playstation. Mainly because of its RPG games. Plus I just love the feel of the controller...the X-Box controller is too fat! But anyways my bro will most likely get X Box 2 and Ill end up getting ps3 so its a win win situation for me.

    I now think that Ill be getting both PS3 and Xbox Next. But for now Xbox Next is my option. It already promises games like Halo 3 and Knights of The Old Republic 3 (hopefully). We'll just have to wait and see how far the two go.

    Oh, are you saying this because of the rumors. Well, if you haven't heard, a rumor's been going around that Microsoft might actuall merge with Nintendo on the next-next generation consoles. Does this mean that Mario and Master Chief will be on the same console? Scary thoughts eh? Still, it's be kind of fun, and it'd sure make the guys at Sony get a little worried. But remember, this is just a rumor that i've heard many times, so don't get your hopes up, because it may not happen.

    (Hopefully it does)
