Anime Yakitate!! JaPan! .......the animation!

That's neat that they have the people giving baking tips on the R2 dvds.

Did anyone think Kanmuri Shigeru would have pinky coloured hair?!?! Because I didn't, I thought he'd have very light/brown blonde hair and I think it would have looked nicer..o_0

 

Well, his manga character design had pink hair on one of the covers. Guess they stayed true to it, y'know?

Although...I really did think Shigeru was a girl, until his name was mentioned.

It was funny, too...there's an omake in the manga showing really close face shots of Tsukino and Kanmuri Shigeru. You can't really tell who's who!!!

 

a pumpkin anime? haha.. sounds like a good premise.

and Izz, I guess I missed the pink hair and blocked it from my brain-waves.. those Omakes are something else.. I sat through and re-read volumes 5-7 tonight.. I just couldn't wait for more anime .. but I have to stop.. ~\0/~

 

The omake about Dave's/Deebu's reasoning as to how he got so fat is HILARIOUS. Especially since he's such a pretty boy!

But, y'know what I can't wait for? Brad Pitt. BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

 

Thus far, I think the manga's at 16 volumes. At least, snoopycool's had up to 15 scanslated.

As for the anime...well, that depends on the ratings and money it receives. If they run out...well, it's supposed that the next season(s) will be cut short, ne?

I like the show, its not half bad. Really funny though ^^

I can't stop think about Shigure's voice, I was able to find the voice actress and see the other animes she acted at, I don't think any is familiar to me, yet her voice is reminding me of something/someone, especially Rukia from Bleach :/ (or that white haired dude )

 

Manga is 100x times better. If only for Takitate!! Go-Han!

 

I'm trying to get caught up in the anime now, just finished episode 30, and considering I watch Konjiki no Gash Bell, the bread reaction Ryou had to the brioche made me laguh so hard.. about having to wash the yellowtail because kids who watch crazy yellow demons eating them raw would get the wrong idea.. BURIWASH! The manga is amazing, but it's great to recall the story through action.

 

R2? oh well. Just watched episode 53, that was great! I can't wait to see what will be happening during Yakitate! 9. It was funny watching the Takitate! Gohan reaction.

 

Okay! double post, but wanted to say I finished watching the show, it ended at episode 69. I felt the anime really jumped into episode 69, but it ended well! I'm happy Kirisaki realized his connection to Azuma in the end as well.

I also thought it funny how Kai didn't really know how babies were made..

To those who have watched the whole anime, what did you think?

 

Loved the ending, though I feel they rushed it unscrupulously. It was fun to watch, especially when you see Kirisaki turn kind.

I wonder if the manga continued on...

Kai is just hilarious.

 

Well, I liked the manga more than the anime, I hope it continued on or there was more story in there near the end ^__^
