I still want to see it. But I will have to wait for the DVD. No way I can get any of my friends to go. They are like 20+ years old. I was able to ring one in for Harry Potter. I don't like dub. It is all sub for me. Maybe I should see if there is a sub one. My site don't have it yet.

i'll admit it, i've seen it more than once, twice in the theaters and then a couple times when it came out on dvd. i mainly went for the cards, which i got the ones i wanted. i thought it was alright. there were a couple things i didnt like about the movie though. the details when it came to the god cards were, at best, pathetic. it kinda pissed me off that the tv series had better graphics than the movie. plus the plot was sorta slipshosh.

    *oops, just saw the thread*
I saw the movie the saturday after it came out (the 14 of august). I wasn't really very impressed with like the 2 duels there was there. Still, they were no doubt good, but it could have been better. I just think it was more like an advertisment than a movie.

Nice choice of words, but i would call it an attempt to brainwash kids into going to watch the movie, "liking it", then going to but more Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff. So yeah, I too consider it either an advertisment, or just a really long episode, but this time, it was pointless.

I watched it the weekend right after it came out and the only thing I liked
was Kaiba was showing up in the movie every second. It wasn't really bad,
it just had no meaning i'd didn't even know when it was happening I thought
as soon as the Battle City was over Yugi released the gods to Dartz or
whatever , I just wanna know when it happened?

This movie is supposed to take place right after Marik, but before Dartz. In the middle of those two. But, it's pointless, since it doesn't reveal anything new about the Pharaoh, nor is it important to the story. It's also kinda dull, because if you watch the Anime in the episodes of Dartz, you can notice that for some reason, everyone forgot about Anubis and his "evil" 1hr and a half reign of evil.

usually movies dont follow the series. the dragonball series is an example of that. the movies didnt really follow the series, they just tried to place them where they fit best. i will say this, i've heard about this other yugioh movie and now i want to see it. it came out in japan. if anyone has any info, let me know.
