Manga What manga series are you currentlly reading/buying?

I'm in fact, buying quite a few series

Sword of the Dark Ones By Kotobuki Tsukasa and from a story by Yasui Kentaro

DN Angel by Yukiru Sugisaki

Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto

Knights of the Zodiac by Masami Kurumada

Fushigi Yugi by Yu Watase

Onimusha: Night of Genesis by Mitsuri Ohsaki

Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo

I have only the first one of these for right now but I bought the final book of Rurouni Kenshin and I was happy about the ending. And in it had a sneak peek at Nobuhiro Watsuki's new series that's going to be coming out in August 2006 called Buso Renkin. I'm actually really interested in this series now

 

I've bought all of Mahoromatic, so as of now, I'm still collecting Ai Yori Aoshi, Excel Saga, and I started buying Chobits, as well.

There's likely others I've forgotten about, but obviously if I can't remember them, I'm not interested enough to keep buying them.

 

Saiyuki was my last purchase at the Con. Um, still working on Hellsing. And Still trying to find out who took My Revolutionary Girl Utena Vol.3 book. T_T

 

For some reason, the current crop of manga isn't doing it for me this year. Looked through the stuff by Clamp, School Rumble, and a load of others and I haven't laughed as hard as I did when I read Midori no Hibi. I'd say I'm reading Excel Saga but it's taking a damn long time for Tokyopop to release the new ones. XP

 

I'm currently still buying the Ranma 1/2 books. It's like, whenever I go to the book store, they never have the next issue I need! It's soooo frusturating!! It happens every time! Once it happened so many times that I just had to buy the book off the internet......

 

So many great manga to buy but so short on cash...

Naruto has become my obsession in manga!

 

I am hooked on Manga. I own 40 volumes thus far. 42 if you count WoW.

I plan on buying 8 more on Friday. Looking at .hack ones and a few others. Hehe. I can't help it. I get to spend 100 more bucks unasked on Manga. YAY

Berserk. It's currently the only manga that i care to keep up with.

 

I'm reading Godchild/ Cain Saga.
Its pretty dark -very gothic.

 

Actually I'm currently not reading or buying anything, cause I'm broke and have no money. Usually I just waited for my best-friend to buy 'em and read hers.

 

At the moment, I'm currently reading D. Gray Man, Chrono Crusade, and Claymore. Of course, Death Note is my favorite, but I've read it all, twice.

 

Currently I'm reading xxxHolic, Bleach, Fruits Basket. I'm obsessed with CLAMP at the moment.

 

I' iffy on Clamp. I mean, sure, Chobits was awesome, but Rayearth was SUCH a letdown at the end... Did you see the ending? "What should we name the new planet! I know... We'll let you name it! [fill-in box]". It was so good up until then. And since I haven't read anything by Clamp.

 

I'm not a true CLAMP fan, since I'm not into all of their manga, but xxxHolic, Tsubasa Chronicles, Suki, and Legal Drug have so much potential and have won points from me. I'm certainly hoping to collect all xxxHolic volumes. Kobato, their new release, certainly is worth my read. But I'd understand why you'd be 'iffy ! Rayearth is definetly not one of their best works... well in my opinion... *there might be fans who'd disagree*
