Manga What manga series are you currentlly reading/buying?

Right now i'm trying to get 5 and 6 of FMA manga, while I am waiting for zatch bell 7...

 

now i'm reading fruits baskets volume 10 and trying to get all the volumes of full moon o sagashite(i already have volume 4)

Well, my collection has exploded in size since my last post to this thread almost a year ago. With the overall slower (yet regular) releases of many titles, I've found myself collecting more than I may have otherwise invested in. Still, I need to do some reevaluation on my spending habits and stall (or possibly drop) some series. In update from my old list...

I've stalled my collecting of Bleach at volume 11. I'll continue collecting the series at some point, but for now I'm focusing on other things. DN Angel is similarly stalled, but in this case I'm waiting for more Japanese material to be released, then translated.

I am current on From Far Away, Fruits Basket, and W Juliet. All three series are still on my active short list of titles I'm collecting. Both From Far Away and W Juliet will finish up in January 2007. I have yet to pick up volume 12 of Red River, but I'm essentially current on that series as well.

I completed my collection of Girl Got Game, and I was rather disappointed overall. Had I known how it was going to end from the beginning, I probably would have put the money toward something else. I'm probably going to try selling this series, or donating it to the public library.

Unfortunately for my wallet, there aren't that many people in my general area who have larger manga collections than I do (bookstores just don't count). Because of this, I am the lender rather than the borrower in nearly all cases.

gonna go buy a couple of Naruto manga's some time next week. Heared they were good.

 

I went to the library a few days ago and got YuYuHakisho mangas, it really is good, I really want to read the rest of the series!!!

The only reason i went to the library was because i had no money to buy mangas so i had to borrow them by going to the library, so there!

 

Hey, there's nothing wrong with borrowing manga from the library! In fact, I think it's pretty cool that your public library has manga available to the patrons. While I know this is becoming more common every year, it's still rare enough to find that it's worth noting.

I wish there were more opportunities where I could borrow manga. I know my public library has some titles, but for the most part they are things I already own or am not interested in. Another difficulty I've discovered is that a number of the series they have do not start with the first volume; it's hard to get into a story if you're starting in the middle. Still, I was able to borrow Marmalade Boy and Alichino. It's also entirely possible that they've purchased more titles recently. It's been a while since I went to the library, after all.

Just re-downloaded Berserk, such a great manga :> The detail, the gore, the horror. So perfect.

 

Currently working on +Anima... why did the first one go on sale after I bought it.... sigh just my luck... well now I wait for the second one.

I'm still reading Naruto. Every week it comes out, I go and DL it.

Yeah, Narutos pretty good. My brother loves the anime shows. I think its good but to me more comical, but thats just my sense of humor.

Yup... never read it or saw it... not even like pictures really lol but meh im into other mangas and anime right now lol. As for manga... I might start getting into this Manga that Lucky gave me called Basilisk... its pretty awesome... nto really for the youngins but it reminded me a little of a tuned up Dragon hunter focusing mroe on sword fighting and no dragons lol....
