Hmmm.. I'm not sure about show offy. It would have been lame and show offy if I had included lines such as,
hahahaha you sad bastards Look at my collection, i bet you'd love to have this, oh aren't you sooo jealous, oh you are, look your turning green.
Now that would have been lame.


It's taken me the best part of three years to accumulate all this anime and just about every spare penny I had and then some.
It all started with a dubbed copy of Akira bought in the Virgin Megastores on the quays for £14.99. Everyone in my family thought I was weird after watching it. I didn't care.

 

i dont think it was *show offy* at all really, more like, i dunno *ill show you mine, if you show me yours*, maybe? i dunno..

three years?! wow. i suppose its understandable then.. its like dedication.. or something.. all i know is for the last three years i dunno where my money has gone, but ive got nothing to show for it.. maybe is a bunch of rentals, and late fees, but nothing to call my own.. hehe ^_^

I only have a couple of LD's. I was given an LD player a couple of years ago(for free) and I decided to buy a few anime titles on LD so what I have now on LD is some Maison Ikkoku, Kimagure and one or two others I can't recall.

This is around half of what I have owned, over the last year I’ve had a few clear out sessions which shrunk my anime collection significantly. Not really much point in listing stuff I no longer own.

is Battle Angel Alita any good XCR?
i read the manga and loved it, but haven't seen the anime yet

 

It's very good from what I remember of it (it's been at least 3 years since I last watched)

I was gonna put my VHS copy up on ebay but I'll sell direct to you if you're intrested.

The tape has Appleseed on it also. It's in pretty much mint condition.
It's yours for €5 exc. postage, paid £14 for it.

 

Alita was the second(or third depending on which is first Appleseed or Alita) anime, after Akira, I had ever seen. As XRC Diablo said it is very good.

I haven't read much of the manga but the anime is pretty damn good so I would think it'll live up to the manga. Appleseed it quite good too.

BTW: Nice collection XRC. I wish I had some anime cels and toys. The only anime item I have that isn't episodes/movies of anime is an Evangelion Unit 01 model with a whole load of attachments. The damn horn thing on its head keeps falling off. Oh well.
