Shite, I should never post prices at 2:30 AM, it's gotta be worth more then €5.

No offence or anything Nick D, but how much of that stuff is bootleg? A lot of the stuff you listed hasn't gotten a full official DVD release in the west.
Unless of course you're buying the R2 Jap. DVD's.

Well XRC if you want a breakdown of where my anime comes from here it is.

R1 (or just NTSC in the case of VHS): 25%
    R2 (PAL): 10%
R2 (NTSC, which is Japan): 30%
    R3 : 20%

And finally about 15% from HK. I bought from HK for things like Maison Ikkoku which aren't or were not at the time available on DVD or were not likely to get a rerelease. Shame about the crappy subs and stuff but what can you expect. Heh sometimes though the bad subs can be quite funny. You get things like "get to the dork(dark), bad ghost" which should be "return to hell, foul demon"

I wish I had that kind of a collection! The only animes I own are Princess Mononoke and some old anime that I don't watch anymore that much. I don't even know if it is anime, it looks like it.. The Last Unicorn.. but it's in english!

    OH

And I taped every single gundam wing episode... while they were on tv, so they're all the edited ones... BLAH

i have the last unicorn too, i have for what seems like decades.. ive pracitically grown up with it, and this is the first time ive heard anyone mention it as anime, besides myself.. its something ive wondered too.. eh.. oh well. i havent bought any of my collection, its all run off from friends.. all vhs, cause they replaced them with dvd, or grew boring.. i dont mind have a small collection though.. it suits me.

Either of you tried an anime marathon of your collections? I've tried it before back when I could do 12-16 hours a day for five days with mine but it's to big to do it in under a week and I think I went insane after four days straight Dragon Ball/Z mind you that was after about three days of getting through some other stuff like AD Police, both versions of Bubblegum Crisis in a row and the three parts of Fatal Fury!

Legato, Wolfwood and Vash call me mad for attempting such things and I'm starting to believe them now!

To be blunt I really have got better things to do with my time.
The max i'll watch is 2 hours of anime a day, and that's only when the weather is crap and I can't go out on the bike.

Generally i'll always watch at least one episode of something each day. At the moment I'm going through Bebop and Initial D again.

There's a good sized chunk of it I'd be willing to sell-
    Patlabor Vol. 1 R1 DVD
    Gundam 0083 R1 DVD
Bunch of the PAL VHS stuff and all the NTSC VHS.

And if anyone wants copies of the fansubbed stuff, or the soundtracks that are unreleased here, I'll sell 'em at reasonable prices. Gotta pay for the CD writer somehow :(

Marathon, eh? The most I've ever done is around 10-11 hours of back to back SMJ, the whole series. That was only beause I was up at like 7 that day anyway. Nothing wrong with a good marathon when you'ce nothing better to do.

10-11 hours? man, I couldn't do a marathon. I'd have to get up and do something else. I don't think any anime(in fact nothing at all) could make me sit for 10 hours doing the same thing.

I'd have to spread it out over a few days.

Mahoro is terrible, it's thw worst thing Gainax have ever produced, it's just another stupid story with maids and alien invasions. The cute chara designs are it's only redeaming feature.
If you disliked the pervey elements of EVA, you won't like like, it claims to feature a bath scene in every episode.

The crap story seems to be aimed towards 8 year olds but it has the pervey moments...

I only have the first couple of eps of Hanukyo, my friend gave it to me. It makes mahoromatic seem like sesame street, uber pervy, not really my thing, i found it a little disturbing, seemed like nothing more than a reason to show half nekkid bishoujo, but if you think thats your sort of thing :) , I personally thought mahoromatic was funny enough, not quite ebichu tho. seriously the first ep is 90% fan service, and the rest is nob gags

    Others I forgot
