Recreation BJP Convention

You know somebody would do that to mess with someone. You would need nametags with your user name obivously, so the don't have to play 20 questions with everyone.

 

Lol , It would be funny though...Imagin it, you go to the convention ou see everybody with thier User name and you come in with your name on....

 

I understand that most of BJP spans the world, but here's my other plan: we have more than one BJP Convention. Have them a few times a year in the key locations of the world where BJP members live. It'll totally work.

Maybe we could get some anime celebs in there, ya never know.

In the same day eh? Wouldn't be possible. We don't have the kind of resources for that. However, Shijin's idea is somewhat workable. BJP conventions in the key locations might be better.

 

It's possible you can have many mods in one and administators in the others...

True. I mean, I doubt even one person from out of state will come to orlando, florida to MegaCon on february and look for the duo of State Alchemists (hint hint! )

It'd all have to be carefully arranged, but I see it happening in the near future.

If you had one in toronto that would get the most members.. Why because a bunch of us live a short distance from Toronto.. Now at one point there was a Huge Irish core on this site.. they sense left and formed there own little union.. They have meets all the time.. But Irland is Small and it no problem getting together..

And frankly I would not pay 200$ to 2000$ on a plan ticket to come to some convention and then go home.

 

So many negative ideas from most of you. I think the multi-BJP Convention/Booth could work. Best bet so far I think would be to set up a BJP booth and or tent at the anime conventions, tell all members, and see who the heck shows up.

 

There is an anime convention in orlando, florida, that Me seishin and kaiyon were going to go to, but I hardely dought they'll let the 3 of us make a booth for a website that most of the members aren't even in that location!!!

 

Well, it's not like one's going JUST for a convention. Yes, the convention is kinda the main topic of such a travel, but there's also seeing new things or a new place for a change. And it's not like once the convention is over, you won't see any of the members, ever. I'd plan an after part or something!

I should revise my first post. There should be an after party! At Seishin and Kaiyon's house! Saber duels! Cocktails! Bloody Ma-, er, Bloodberry! It would be fun, actually. After a convention we all just meet somehwere. It'll totally work.

 

I can arrange:

*Party!
*Saber Duels (however corny XD)
*Fun with lots of anime to watch on the big screen (Huzzah!)

I can't however assure the drinks. I'm underage!

lol to theparty, especially at kaiyon and seishin's house, i'll be capturing the portal next door and then...You didn't hear anything...

So anyways it's true right after the BJP convention you don't have to go right back...you can stay for like a few weeks or something...

 

Ah! I love the idea! without it's quirks. Yah since im a little underage here. Ill bring the Dr. Pepper! Its the only drink certified to be a soft drink!

This would be so fun and cool, if we assumed, everyone lived close by, and the teenagers could get past their parents.

 

if we do have a convention one day it should be more then one day like a week convention...

oh and at the after party i'll get the pizza YAY!!!
