I kept it nice and plain for three reasons.

1) Quick load time.
2) Low bandwidth use.
3) Easy to update and add on to.

Actually I'll be redoing the layout over the next two weeks to an 'individual story' format instead of category, its that its easier to see whats new.

As for elaborate schemes, they're a-coming.
