Probably the Transformers movie, tho' it might have been Sailor Moon. I don't remeber watching sailor moon when I was young, but when I rewatched it this year, I knew I'd seen some of it becasue I knew what was going to happen next. Nah...It was transformers, the Movie.

Now I come to think of it, it might have been Kimba the White Lion that I saw first, not Marine Boy or Prince Planet. Or Gigantor. Was Gigantor anime? Weirdly I can't remember ever watching Astro Boy. There was also this other strange thing with a bunch of animals travelling around in a big wheel that I think was anime. There was a white rabbit with pointy feet and a duck with a 'tude.

    It's been a while.

I'm not sure if Transformers, GI Joe etc. really count since they were originally created by a US company, only the animation was produced in the far east.

1st memory is Robotech, 1st anime I knowingly saw was Street Fighter 2.

Well, lessee, I never thought Transformers was Japanese anime, and since I don't really have any confirmation, I'll exclude it.

Technically, Akira was the first I saw, on Sci-Fi, but I didn't see it all the way through.

Neon Genesis Evangelion was the first anime I saw fully through.
