Anime First anime you ever seen!

    Well, seeing as whether transformers was an anime or not, I'll say thundercats. That was an anime, right?
    The first thing I saw that I knew was an anime was either Pokemon or Cardcaptors. The first sub I saw was Akira. That is all.

    i've had the transformers debate. the orignal stuff was american made. the movie was american and japanese and the beast wars and stuff is japanese....so, it kinda does...depending on when you started watching it...rainbow bright is american...and well, i've never seen samurai pizza cats...so i can't talk about it

    Samurai Pizza Cats just sounds like a Turtles rip off, I'm guessing it had a different name in Japan, I've never seen the show though.

    My first Anime series would be Transformers and Rainbow Brite. The first I knew was anime, would be Sailor Moon.
    The only series I've seen to the end, so far, would be Cowboy Bebop! Go Ed! :dizzy2:

    i have an ep or two of RB on cd somewhere.. haven't watched em yet though heh, i'm scared of falling in love all over again

    I didn't even get as far as the movie of Transformers, only the original stuff. So, it's settled. So, it looks like bits of Akira were my first anime.

    Ps. LIke that scene where the phantoms of giant toys attack Tetsuo in his hospital room. That really freaked me out.

    the first anime i have seen was ranzi the vampire..iam not sure if this was the name..i was young i didnt understand athing.. all i remember that her father was avampire & her mother was a wolf ..:rolleyes:
    but i remember watching Lady Oscar ,G.I.Joe ,Thunder Cats,Astro Boy:dizzy2:i cant remember witch one i saw first.. :cool:

    Samurai Pizza cats was the first one i saw :dizzy2: , then transformers beast wars. the first one i knew was an anime was dragon ball z, i saw most of the other shows on this board within a month after dbz.

    I seem to recall the first anime show I watched being 'Mysterious lost cities of Gold' Anybody remember that one? I watched Robotech a bit, but never as much as that first one.
    Otherwise, it would have been Akira, Vampire Hunter D or Dominion: Tank Police from the Sci-fi Saturday Anime spot. ahh.. for the good ol' days. I saw everything they showed in that spot.

    bwahahaha i remember that cartoon...made for the french actually with miyazaki character designs...recently found a page on it too...never noticed, but one of the comic relief goons looks alot like lupin(who was out long before this...remember, lupin was around in the 60's lol) will add the link here later cause it's on the other computer...*^-^* good show...but, was orignially french dubbed to english...you can get the french dvds actually...

    and here it is for all to view..and to kill his site lol
