Recreation Girls vs. Boys (questions)

I can't resist. I want to answer this one.

To be honest, although I say I don't care about looks, I will admit that someone's looks are what initially attract me to them. Of course, if that person turns out to be shallow and unpleasant, then I make up my mind quick.

But the fact is, even though we may say we don't, someone's looks do matter. After all, if someone is kinda ugly, or even just plain average, no one will look twice at you, regardless of what kind of person you are.

That's the beauty of the internet. You can get to know someone before seeing them, and avoid the impression you might give them just by how you look. Then, of course, once you know them, you (likely) care enough about them to still like them regardless of how they look.

As an example. If you met me in real life first, you probably wouldn't pay much attention to me. To be honest, I'm not all that impressive to look at, and it's not all that likely that anyone would fall for me on sight, or anything. But once you get to know me as many of you have, you see that I'm really a great guy. Like you said, yakamashi. People tell me all the time what a good friend I am, but I'm willing to bet that few, if any of those people would have become my friends if they had met me in real life.

It's sad, but true.

Now, that was a very interesting question, so I'll bump it to the girls.

When you meet a guy, does it matter how they look? Are your opinions of someone altered in any way by their appearance?

 

meh, i'm going to answer this too...

i guess it doesn't really actually matter that much. but i guess it's kinda like shallow hal. like that dude only saw what was on the outside, not on the inside.

like you said earlier about how in real life, people won't take a second look at you if you're just average, no matter how much of a nice person you are. that's just terrible. and yeah, i guess it's a plus for the internet, like you don't actually see the person when you're typing, etc, but listening to their true self. (or not.)

i guess it's also like 'a cinderella story'.

*sigh* this is such a bad answer....

but overall, i guess for me, it's safe to say that i don't really care about the persons looks. well, they can't be really ugly, or anything, but just around average. as long as they're kind and respectful of my feelings, etc.

(this just made me realize just how lonely and desperate i am... *sob*)

what do you look for in a girl?

 

Doesnt smoke/ do drugs, outgoing personality, intelligent, and athletic. Most of all a girl that I could hang out with and she is really cool. Has same interests and stuff like that.

Ladies, same question to you. What do you look for in a guy?

 

A. I look for the guy to be different..something like the outcast at school that always gets in trouble in school and I can sit in detention with..and I like the kinda guy that ain't scared to tell me he loves me in front of people.

Q. Why do guys like those sweet preppy chiks?(no offense anyone)

 

(A) Well it depends on the guy me personally i can't stand for prep girls and drama queens there annoying ass hell to me. ...thats not really a answer well heres the real one that one was just a rant Its there looks and shallow personality that men like we think easy and a one night stand most of the time that is true.

(Q) Girls Why are looks so important to girls for a guy to have if his personality is from the bottom of the crap pile.

 

A. Looks don't really matter to me that much to tell you the truth.. and yes its human nature to be attracted physically.. I don't know why I like guys that treat me like crap..sweet guys just get on my nerves.. it feels like they just say things to shut you up!

Q. Guys why are ya'll so lazy?

 

(A) Easy low inciative. Most of us guys out there are lazy as hell but some of us are not it depends on the guys life and how he looks on things. Me i get my stuff done so i don't have to worry about it but at times im lazy its complecated depends on the guys inciative to do things.

 

A. I guess this is a question..who cares? Well I ain't REALLY picky I just won't wear a skirt...never! I only wear pink when I'm wearing black.. And don't like REALLY REALLY tight pants..Thats simple

A. Because they are a bunch of insane violent perverts who'll harass me from sunrise to sunset and beyond if I tried to ignore them. :sweat:

A. if he had a lot of money and goodies..

thats a hard question. it's sort of always been that way.

but guys know that it takes a female longer to do certain things. so they excuse it.

 

A. Im never late and if I was it would be because i'm getting him something..

A. Same exact question..? :blush2: Same as your answer except I'd be planning his death on top of it in hopes of collecting his estate. If it was a girl though, I'd make due with her being hot/good looking after a couple of beers and me going for a one night stand...

A. We guys are over competitive so naturally, when one guy does something disgusting, the others would want to match/outdo them. Also, a lot of us have no shame and most of us are lazy. If girls weren't around for us to impress, we guys would devolve into filthy beasts who didn't shave, bathe or wash our clothes. We'd be living in caves, eating mold off the walls. Not that we're that much better when girls are around. Once we get comfortable, we get as close to that ideal as we can get away with. Ah, the life of a lazy bum...

A. You know, that never came up for me. The guys you were dating were over possessive or insecure maybe? So long as a girl doesn't say they hate me I'm good.

A. what do you think, I think they are talking about...*Duh* thats ALL guys think about..

Q. Why do think all girls do is dress up when we don't?

 

A. You know, I never had that impression. I got the impression that all you do is buy stuff and gossip about everything. Er... no offense! :sweat:
