I think I turned Japanese when I memorized katakana and hiragana in about 2 weeks...

.....when I've been listening to J-pop on my personal CD player and whern someone speaks to me it takes a few minutes to realise they are speaking english and I do understand them:sweat2:

 

I think I'm turning Japanese when I see an adorable something-or-other and have the urge to say, "So kawaii!" before realising that no one in my gene pool has a clue what that means!
I don't speak japanese, just a few isolated words that I've learned from watching subbed anime (or from Jackal-chan.)

Who's been reading my mind?! Okay, yeah. I learned to use chopsticks really easily, and found out in the process that when Junqian's mom says she'll do something, she's not kidding.

Anyway, yeah, I think I'm assimilating Japanese culture and making it my own. I picked up alot using my japanese dictionary and my anime subs, but I've yet to take lessons. I want to!

I know more (alot more) than your average otaku, but that's in romanji. I know some symbols.

Anyway, everybody's said what I wanted to!

 

when i watch a lot of anime with japanes language and english sub plus i really love japanes culture and i try to learn japanes

 

I think im turning Japanese when i eat Japanese food, with chopsticks (which is about all i eat with anymore), while reading manga.

Also, when i watch anime in Japanese launguage, no subs and i actually undterstand some of it! (while eating a japanese dish with chopsticks, of course.)

when I speak to people in japanese forgetting they dont understand, or when people speak to me and I temprarilly dont understand becuse Im thinking in japanese at the time.

everyone in my family and all my friends know that i am living in japan after i go to college.i live on ramen and rice mixed with tomatoe sauce.

...I stepped onto Japanese ground 4-5 years ago . I dunno, sometimes I feel I'm a Japanese turned into my current state ... maybe cold water caused it

And since I'm Chinese, holding chopsticks doesn't give me any 'i'm-turning-jap' feeling. Oh, and by the way, I can't hold chopsticks the super-proper way. Practising day in day out.

I need more cold soba noodles.

i wont eat any fish unless it sushi *i actually gag on cooked fish*
i speak more japanese than i do english...
ive watched over 60 different anime...
i actually eat everything with chopsticks...i dont actually use a fork and knife unless im eating out which is rarly anywhere else than a japanese resturant...
when i meet people no matter who they are i bow and almost always say Hajimemashite...
i answer the phone by say "moshi moshi, Hiyama-san desu"
eh...thats all i can think of for now...

 

even though you probably...actually for sure know this i feel i have to point out that both of those arts are Korean...sowwy... but i hear people always saying the Tae Kwon Do is Japanese and its not...its my home countries martial art...just a pet peeve sorry...

 

I know I'm turning Japanese when I move next to Japanes neighbors who are slowly taking my sanity and converting me. I dream in anime. Seriously. When I imagine, it's in anime.

That's very sad.
