And on the whole "women want men to be women" thing,that's kinda true.One minute they want us to be manly and protect them,then the next minute they want us to be romantic and go shopping with them.Make up your mind,ladies!

Bah, Blue Crow, that's bullshit. If I like the guy for who he is, that's who he is. I'm not going to tell him how to react and act. I'd only like someone anyway if they just are who they are, and don't try and conform to what other people expect them to do. Expectations ruin everything. Ugh, I'm sorry, but if some guy was all like *super hero voice* "Let me protect you, me big strong man" I'd end up kicking his *** or something else equally as satisfying. And romance is to be expected on both sides. I don't care what guys say, they like to be romanced too. (well, some of them.) I'd rather not shop with a guy, they suck at shopping. Hell, I suck at shopping.

 

Yeah,I wasn't talking about ALL girls.Just a lot of them.I also hate the guys that DO try to be every kind of guy.I'd probably kick that guys ***,too.I'm not like that.And I hate shopping(for clothes,anyway),but I do like to be romanced now and then.

Oh yeah, and gender stereotypes should be banned from the face of the planet. That's how a lot of these gender-based arguments start anyways. To say that shopping or liking to be romanticized is a "woman thing" is to succumb to the evil streotype.

3. has to know how to have a good time
4. knows what he wants and expresses it
5. knows me better than myself
6. has to be JOE!!!!!
The list is endless, but you also have to consider.....each man is different.



edit: for each woman there are qualities a man loves. for each man there are qualities a woman loves. even though you say you want a certain thing your ideal person will have traits that you hate, but you learn to live with them and love them too.

I can't give you anything solid.Sorry.I live around a lot of girls.I hear the kind of things that they say they like in a man.And in all those "girl" magazines,when they ask them what they like,a lot of them say they like a guy that can be strong yet romantic.I'm not meaning to make generalizations,but I guess I am.Just trying to point out an observation I made,that's all.And no,I'm not a superhuman mind reading machine guy.

 

I KNOW WHAT HE IS... but hes still sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...etc...... gorgeous!

well actually i was going more for, he knows what he likes and can tell me that he does. most of the guys here are too shy or afraid to ask for things. such as kisses or gifts. that sort of thing.

 

Seeing as you explain it a bit more, there will be no further comment from me on it.... Just the way my mind goes sometimes :S /
