It is slightly spoiler-riffic if you haven't seen up to the Chuunin exam prelim fights.

Spoiler: Chuunin exam

In the Chuunin exam prelims, When Naruto fought Kiba, who thinks that the series could have also been extremely cool if Naruto lost?

I know I think so.

 

I dont, because if that happened the series will keep going in circles which will be kinda dull.

Ahh I've havent seen the 2nd episode, so thats why I was clueless about Ebisu.

Spoiler: Naruto Manga up through volume 21

First things first, about why I don't think it'd make the series go on in circles.
The final portion of the chuunin exam comes, the final matches, a month after the prelims, and a plot is unveiled, Orochimaru has orchistrated an attack on Leaf villiage, in the attack, the Third Hokage is murdered (a very l33t fight) and the leaf barely manage to turn the attack away, mainly because Naruto engages Gaara and in a fit of 9-tails power takes him down. Remember the giant frog in the first episode? Naruto summons him. Regardless of the outcome of the prelim fight, Naruto does *NOT* become a Chuunin from the exam, in fact, he isn't a Chuunin up to where I've read (chapter 186 in Volume 21) and the exams are quite over (Shikamaru was the only one to achieve Chuunin status). That's all for this portion of the spoiler message

Spoiler: The Fate of Rock Lee

Rock Lee, what can I say? I like him too, he's got that Springtime of Youth spirit down. He certainly doesn't fade into the background. After the Chuunin exams are over, a healer comes to see him and evaluate his condition, (I won't say more about that healer unless you ask for it) She gives him her prognosis, He cannot continue as a ninja unless he undergoes a very risky surgery (50% survival rate) to remove the bone fragments all along his spine and elsewhere. She advises him NOT to get the surgery. He thinks about it long and hard. He has decided to go for it but the surgery has not yet been performed to where I've read, I'll let you know when I find out.

I thought that if he lost and didn’t become a Chunnin, Naruto will go through the same process of the exams and whatever, which took about more than 26 episodes. So I’m not looking forward to Naruto collecting the scrolls again =/
I wonder what will happen to Sakura, who lost in the preliminary fights. Will the trio be re-united again?

Yah I did, but still I wasnt sure that him being bandaged meant that he fully recovered and will be able to become a ninja one day.

 

Well, I've said all that's really known so far about Lee (except what's in the mind of the creator... wouldn't that be fun to be privee to...) on the last page.

On to the Naruto not becoming chuunin this time, I don't think it'd be that bad, after all, they did state at the beginning of this Chuunin exam that it was more packed with talent than any previous one. The next one could probably be shortened quite signifigantly, if they did that whole exam again.. which I don't believe will happen. I think it'd be extremely cool on the part of progression of Naruto's character if he'd have lost. Just think of what lengths he'd go to so that he wouldn't again?

anyways The writer of Naruto is really good! ^^ He knows how to balance the story. Can't wait for the release of the other epi...

Spoiler: Jiraiya, Kakashi, Sasuke, Sharingan

I've very happy that Jiraiya is gonna train Naruto, I was about to cry if that closet pervert (enter name here) will train naruto! Jiraiya is superior to Kakashi... Am I right? I think Kakashi wants to train sasuke just because Sasuke is from the Ushida clan and that he has Sharingan. Anyways how did he aquire his sharigan ability that Kakashi?

What class of ninja is Jiraiya?

 

You really should read the manga and stop letting story development annoy you. There are obviously good reasons why Kakashi wants to train Sasuke like keeping an eye on him and the curse for one etc. And yeah Jiraiya is much better

When I was watching the new opening of Naruto, I saw three new faces(view attachment). 2 of 'em looked like young Jiraiya and Orochimaru. If Im wrong then I have to add three new names to the loooooong list of Naruto characters ..!:dizzy2:

I saw episode 55 and I absolutely love it!! I love how they gave us information on how everyone is doing before the Chuunin fights. For example, Chouji helps Shikamaru train for the finals. Same goes to the other teams, where the team members that lost help the ones that won.
2nd reason I love this episode is because of Jiraiya and Naruto. They are so funny when they are together. The tadpole scenes are priceless !!!!

Anyways her reason for attending the Ninja academy was...? *thinks hard* It's not because of sasuke? is it? What is it, anyone :sweat:

Yah I know that Jiraiya is, but I didnt know that Orochimaru is one of the legendary 3. I guess I missed that part.

Actually...

The four faces are the four Hokage, there is no fifth as of the anime currently The old guy with the hat is the third, the fourth sealed the nine-tails into Naruto and died in the process.

The girls name is Tsunade, she's just as old as Jiraya and Orochimaru, but is maintaining her youth through Medical Jutsus, she's a specialist in that area. She, after the demise of the Third Hokage is called on and asked to be the Fifth Hokage, there's a *really* interesting storyline as Jiraya and Naruto go looking for her and Naruto gets trained in a really cool technique.

I suppose that's good for now.
