RPG Archives Newborn God: In Game

((Im starting it from its two days after Carn found out about being a new god and all. He still hasn't met any of the other goddesses other than Ceris and its going to first start of in school))

Monday December 20th
7:15 right before 1st period


Carn stood at this locker and pulled out his books. He had so many thoughts running through his head. "Why me...why me...." He slammed his locker. "WHY ME!" He said really loud. People looked at him for a second and then went back to what they were doing. "Anyways..." He said in a whisper then he started to walk down the hall.


Ceris sat on a bench outside the school. "He still won't talk to me." She said to herself quietly. "God I should have told him sooner.. or not at all." She sighed and got up, walking into the school building.

 

After a few months of going hungry, Katsuke had finally encountered a way to earn food without stealing or killing. He had taken a job at a nearby school as a P.E. Teacher due to his tremendous abilities. "Good thing I didn't reveal that I am In fact a Demon" he thought. "I could have never gotten this job".
As he entered the locker room, he noticed his attire were much different than the other teachers. "Hmmm.....I guess I really do have to wear that uniform they gave me". He quickly changed before anybody could come in.
He took a look at himself in the bathroom mirror and said "Heh! This is more like it"

 

Setel looked up from her book at Carn and raised an eye brow in interest. "Why you indeed..." she muttered sensing something from Carn. Could he be....

"Hey Setel! Whatcha lookin' at?" one of her few friends asked. Setel smirked and turned to him.

"Oh nothing you can comprehend with that tiny brain of yours." she said.

"Hey!"

As her friend ranted and rambled on at her, Setel turned her attention back to Carn, trying to figure him out.

(OOC: I assume the other goddess don't recognize him yet, or at least not completly right?)

IC:

Murasaki hopped off the train and walked into the city. It was now time to find her god.

She just hoped she wasn't late like usual.

 

Akame ran as fast as she could through the halls, panting as she went.
Oh, I'm late!, she thought franticaly. She stopped for a moment to throw the wrapper of her PopTart, which she had grabbed for breakfast that morning, in the garbage near a room that, unfortuantly, wasn't hers. She shook her head, running again.
What a great impresion. First day of the year in a new school and I'm late...
She was almost schocked with herself. How could she have woken up late? It had never happened before. She could have sworn she set the alarm clock.
Finally, she found her room that she was supposed to be in and opened the door, nearly tripping in. Quickly, she stood up straight and sat in a seat, hoping no one noticed her. She didn’t need the attention.
Then she noticed someone she knew.
Carn had been over on the other side of the room talking to another girl. She wanted to talk to him, but didn’t want to be rude and interoupt. She sat quietly, watching him for a moment.
I can’t believe he’s here too…

 

As Katsuke was getting ready to go to his class he sensed many holy forces from within the school. "Hmmm?" he looked up to concentrate easier and he closed his eyes. "I see......Maybe.....Just Maybe Ill Look into it later" he thought to himself.

 

((Fushigi Rockna: no they dont know who the god is yet but they know who Ceris is.. all the goddesses know who each other are. Ceris is the only one who defiantly knows that Carn is the god.))

Carn walked into his classroom and sat down at his desk. He opened his French book up and looked through the vocab. "Im a god...." He mummbled to himself. He looked at the board and noticed there was a test today. "Oh great.. Just what I needed." He said softly.

Ceris walked into her french class and saw Carn. She looked at him and then sat at the desk across from him. "Hey Carn..."

Carn looked at Ceris. "Hey.."

"Carn Im really sorry.. I should have told you sooner." Ceris said. She looked at the board. "A test.. great..." She turned and faced the front leaving Carn to his thoughts.

 

Duessa had been searching for the god all of her life. A fact that would probably have been more impressive if said life had been longer than a month and a half. Then again, at least she knew why she was created, as opposed to the pitiful creatures that covered this planet. Duessa also had the privilege of remembering her own birth. Not that it was really anything special; one minute she did not exist and the next minute she did. Nothing special really.

Her first few days of existance had been made up of attempts to understand the chaos that was the humans' world, to enforce some sort of order upon everything she saw and experienced. After trying for about a week, Duessa gave up trying. There was no point attempting to figure everything out. She was not going to be here for long anyway. Especially now that she had finally tracked down the goddess. Once she found the goddess, the goddess will lead her to the god. Duessa could not suppress the slight smile that graced her lips, although the people walking past her probably wished she had. As she approached the school, Duessa tried to imagine what the god would look like. She hoped he was cute.

(OOC: Sorry if there's any typos in this, I had to type in a hurry. I'll read over it later and fix any mistakes.)

 

Carn looked at the board and frowned. "Damn tests.." He sighed and got up. He looked at the teacher. "Mr. Wolfe, may I go to the restroom?" The teacher looked at him. "Yes Carn go ahead." He said. Carn bowed and walked towards the door. He opened it and walked out. He walked down the hall and sat on a bench by the boys bathroom. There was a long line, so he had to wait. He looked at the ground and pulled back his hair from his eyes. "I don't understand.... why me.. how can I be a...." He was cut off from his thoughts. He looked up, he sensed danger approaching him.

Ceris sighed after Carn walked out. "God Im a dumbass." She slammed her head on her desk. "Ow!" She screamed out. Mr. Wolfe glared out her for a second. Then went back to what he was doing. She got up and walked outside the classroom without asking the teacher. The teacher yelled at her for leaving but she didn't pay attention.

 

Athena was heading to class, she had just transferred there to be near to her cousin and Creis. She spotted Creis outside of a classroom and walked up to her.
"What's wrong Creis?"

 

Karu found an irritating pain in her temple as she listened to all the irritating voices in the halls. Humans were so loud. She wanted to be with her friends of the wild. The wolves and all of the other hunters. They weren't so loud and talkative.

For any of the goddesses who saw her. She'd look odd since if anyone saw her, she was in the grey wolf furs. But she couldn't wear that after all, in the high school if she was supposed to be a student here. So she was dressed in the girls school uniform and twitching in it.

She'd long ago slipped from her 1st class after the roll call, clenching her teeth when she found more of the annoying humans in the hall. Nails dug into soft skin of her palms as she tried to edge around a chattering group, heading for the water fountain, watching people. She stopped short, noticing one girl she knew appear from a class room, soon after a boy had left it.

'Whys Ceris leaving class? Why do I care? Well I'm here because of her..'

It was true, Karu was only registered in this school because Ceris had said something at some point about she thought she knew where the god was. But Karu hadn't been in touch with ceris other then joining the school to find out more. She spotted Athena appear behind Ceris, and seemed to speak to her.

Karu watched them for a moment, watching their location before continuing on and getting a drink of water. She took her time on it, thinking over what she could say to them. She'd hidden from the other goddesses for a long time, chosing to let them search. She'd been edgy about hanging near them but she knew, if Ceris had an idea where the god was, she should show herself and see if they needed her help.

She finally made her way through a group to reach the pair, rubbing her temple gently. That water tasted like metal so now her mouth tasted horrible and she was making motions like spitting even as she reach the pair. Though it stopped right away when she was within their view. Grey eyes cloudy and brown hair down to her chin. The green strips had been faded while she was acting the role of a student in school so they barely showed up now.

Grey eyes searched the pair,"Long time no speak Ceris, Athena."

She flashed a small nod to each in turn before settling her gaze o Ceris, though her eyes slid shut in a wince and the hand returned to her temple,"I can't wait to get out of here....."

 

Setel looked over and saw Ceris, Athena and Karu. She then turned her head away quickly for she did not want to be seen. She wasn't a very sociable person, and she didn't want to have to go other there. Surely if they saw her, one of them might just expect her to go over and see them, probably by calling out her name.

And besides, right now she was skipping classes with her friend. It wouldn't be right to just abandon him now.

"Setel..."

"Yes?"

"I need to use the washroom."

Setel frowned. Just look at that line, she thought. We'll be here all day.

But she stood in line with him anyways, once she saw who she'd be behind of.

Setel tapped on Carn's shoulder to get his attention. "Hello there."

Murasaki made her way through the town in her purple kimono but stopped when she reached a deserted area. She pulled out some cards from her obi and playing with one for a second...

Before throwing it behind her at soemthing.

"Come out! I can sense you! Show yourself!" she yelled at whatever had been following her.

(OOC: I'm assuming Duessa was following Murasaki?)

 

Akame watched in dismay as a few students left the room. She gazed at them with out turning around. But her attention was mainly on Carn. Menatly, she whined.
Oh...I was hoping I could get a word in with him before class ended... She chewed on the eraser of her pencil and layed her chin on her open palm, not paying any attention to the teacher. She knew enough french anyway.
I wonder what was wrong...
He'd seemed upset. She'd never seen him like that before. She sighed.
"I guess I catch up to him after class..." She mumbled, not realizing i was out loud.

 

Ceris looked at Athena. "Hey Athena..I should have told Carn sooner, about him being a god. Shouldn't I? I'm so stupid for not telling him." Ceris covered her face with her hands. "He hates me now.." Ceris looked at Karu. "Yes it has been a long time." She could sense the other goddesses around. She sighed, she was relieved that they were close by, so they can protect Carn the new god if needed..for she also sensed evil close by as well.

Carn got up and looked around. "Someone who wants to kill me is close." He said to himself. He looked around for a second. Then a girl tapped him on his shoulder. He turned and looked at her. "Um..hi...he had never seen this girl before but it seemed as if he knew her and could trust her. He slightly smiled at her and came back to reality. He better be getting back to class. He had already been out of class for atleast 10 minutes and there was that test. "Um sorry miss but I must be getting back to class." He bowed to Setel and run to his class room. He ran in the door and looked at the teacher. "Sorry it took me so long." He sat down in his chair and looked across the room and saw Akame. He looked at her and smiled sweetly. He slightly waved at her and then noticed the teacher giving him dirty looks. He quickly went back to facing the board.

 

Karu's green gaze flickered to the boy who had retreated into the classroom once more, then returned her gaze to Ceris. She'd seen Ceris and this boy Carn talking before, but hadn't thought much of it, now she watched Ceris carefully,"You told him already...I'm guessing from your emotions, hes not taking it well."

No matter how much the Goddess of Nature and Goddess of the Hunt seemed to clash, Karu usually calmed a bit to help out. She didn't like to, but she'd do it for a fellow goddess.

Green eyes brightened as she grinned,"I'll talk to him if you like. Maybe he'll listen to me. Want me to Ceris?" She lowered her voice for the next few words,"Or would you rather keep the god for yourself?"

She lifted her head with a small laugh, brushing her bangs back. It always felt better to have the idea of prey in mind. And this time, Carn was her prey. If Ceris allowed her to. She really shouldn't step out as who she is until Ceris said yes or no, since the goddess had found him first.

 

Ceris glared at Karu and then she smiled a fake smile. "Yes he is not taking it well. And Im not keeping him for myself." Ceris sighed. "Since you are a goddess you have every right to be a part of this gods life."

Carn put his head on his desk. He started to hum to himself.

 

'Damnit' Setel thought as he left. 'So much for that'

"Hey Setel."

"What!?"

"he called you miss."

Setel paled. "What?" she began realizing that turning to her friend. "but, but, no one can tell that I'm a girl at first glance!"

"Hey chill it's not like it's a big deal. But ya know I'm really impressed. I couldn't tell you were a girl, the first time we met, or the second, since you're so flat chested and all..."

But Setel wasn't listening. 'I knew it! I knew i could sense something from him! The only ones that knew I was female, no matter how much armor I put on, no matter what i did to myself, was always the god and other goddesses!'

"Ne, I'm going to talk to someone, while you use the washroom, okay?" Setel said to her friend as he went in before proceding over to Ceris, Athena and Karu, even though she really didn't want to.

"hey Ceris, Athena, Karu...looks like we're all together again, except for Murasaki and the others, but she's always late." Setel began to them.

Karu flashed a nearly cheeky grin at Ceris even as Setel approached them. Her evil grin faded to persed lips even as she titled her head in a small nod to Setel,"Nice to see you Setel."

She flickered her gaze back to Ceris,"Well. I'll speak to him when I can catch him alone Ceris. Since I'm allowed to have a part in his life."

She turned away, waving lightly over her sholder,"I'll be heading back to class now. Ja!"

With another cheeky grin, she vanished into her class room and back to her seat once more.

(OOC: sorry if its short. Theres a bad pain in my temple that wont leave.)

 

ooc: Sorry computer problems at home.

Aic: Athena smiled at Ceris. (ooc: sorry if i spelled it wrong) She shook her head and said, "Don't worry, I'll talk to my cousin as well... he'll get used to the idea soon enough."

Athena looked down at her pass and said, "Well, i better go in and give the teacher my pass and show her my copy of the transfer papers. I don't know how i'm going to get used to all of this."

Athena smiled then walked into the classroom.

 

Ceris bowed her head. "Thank you all." She sighed. "I as well should be returning to my classroom." She politely bowed once more and walked in the direction of her class.

Carn looked at the board again. He sighed. "What am I going to tell my family and friends?"

(ooc: sorry its short.. i dont have to much to say at the time.. ill write more next time. bye bye)

 

Karu, who had taken her seat, a row over and once seat back from Carn, clearly heard his muttered words. She felt her lips curl in an cheshire cat grin.

Green eyes flickered in the teachers direction, watching their french teacher closely and finally leaned forward when the teacher wouldn't notice. She was close enough within reach that she was able to peer around him, green eyes meeting his dark gaze, a smirk on her lips. She whispered, low enough for only Carn to hear,"I need to speak to you Carn. I'll find you at the first free chance. Meet me alone though."

She lightly pressed the fingertips of one of her hands against the bare skin of his jaw in a light press. Green eyes sparkled, holding his gaze only a moment longer before pulling back to sit even as the teacher turned, elbows resting on the desk, chin resting on her interlocked fingers, brown hair, stripped with the faint green falling around her head to her chin lightly.
