RPG Archives Newborn God: In Game

"Alright I'll meet you at lunch." Medea smiled kindly and walked back into class. She sat down at her desk and sighed. "Well that was the god." She stared off into space when a teacher came in. "Um hello." The teacher looked at her funny. Medea looked over and smiled at the guy. "Hello." He smiled back. "I wanted to see how you are doing on you first day." She smiled slightly and nodded. "Good."

 

Karu's 'friend' already sensed the man, though he also wasn't sure of the location and prowled restlessly under the the tree on the other side from the pair.

Karu waved her hand slightly,"No need to bow to me Carn. I mainly wanted to pull you out to get to know you. After all. We may be spending time together and you'll soon see I don't always...get along with large groups. And Ceris and I clash now and then, being that we're from different sides...if you know what I mean."

Karu brushed her brown hair back, lightly stripped in green and frowned faintly. She could feel how tense her four-legged friend was getting. But she was torn at the moment, either speak in riddles about who she was, or show him. She couldn't just out right tell him. It was something in her blood not to give away that she was the goddess of the hunt.

She scuffed the toe of one some shoe in the ground, trying to stretch her toes. When dressed normally, she would either be bare foot or wearing boots made from skin of a prey. But she had to go full with this outfit to fit in.

One thing she still did keep when dressed like this was a necklace. As though remembering it, she lifted the thin sinew cord from under her school uniforms collar to show Carn the single wolf's tooth hanging from it, gleaming white.

 

Carn looked at the necklace that Karu now showed him. He did not know why she showed him this tooth that seemed to be from a wolf or dog of some sort. But he did not care. He nodded. "Very well then I shall not bow, Miss Karu." He said in a slight whisper. He had no idea what to say. He slightly gulped and then looked around slightly. "So..um. Hi."

Ceris sat down at a table and stared at Karu and Carn. "Ugh what is Karu up too..." She sighed and shook her head. "She's such a trouble maker."
