This is getting into a whole moral area again.

Lets just leave it.
Some people cling to there fairy tale morals and think that some day their prince will come. He'll be a bishonen and will be over whelmed with love when he find out that she's a virgin(as oposed being disapointed, because she won't knwo what to do).

and some are moraly diminished sex fiends , who probably drink an smoke, and want to have sex a frequently as they can. Their dispicable lack of morals will no doubtedly lead to unhappyness. And as a result of their seedyness will end up being porn stars or single parents.

:sweats:well here we go again....I just ment to say that I'm not trying to judge a person before knowing them, I mean I just dont feel comfortable around those type of people, and my school groups are the same as KaMeKi's (I'm in Canada)....I dont know I just want to learn what I need to learn and leave, I just talk to people here and there; just not everyone. I have gotten to know some, of the popular guys, but the one I talked to just was using me; the things he said just ticked me off!...Now since i turned him down, he threw spitballs at me in class (talk about immature), but anyway he doesnt go to my school anymore...

 

Well I thought the dude was gonna lock this again.
But things seemed to have calmed down.

I can't really talk about certain groups in school cos we really didn't have any here in Ireland.

Especially since most schools here aren't co ed(well at least I think so).

First of all, Sex before marriage is something that I look down at.
What makes a woman is her reputation which is fragile, a small scratch on her reputation and everyone will see it. A girl should not do such things because it would not only effect her, it will also effect the family as well.
"A bad word crosses around the world, while the good word just puts its pants on" - its a funny quote, but its true. You would hear more bad gossip that the good deeds that person have done. If two people were in love and decided that they would make love, they have to think of the consequences. How would people look at them if they knew about it. How would their family treat them after they discover what they have been doing?...

It doesnt make any difference if the man or the woman wanted to do it. What matters is that they both agreed to do it, and ignore the consequences that awaits them.

If the girl got pregnant while she is not married, in my opinion the two should get married to raise their child in a better atmosphere. Sooner or later the child will find out what happened.

hrm, now *this* I disagree with entirely. pre-marital sex is not a scratch, small or otherwise on a woman/man's reputation. and as for the family? they've got nothing to do with it, it's her life and it's her choice.

 

Toomaa thats a good argument.. but the only problem with it is. that a lot of other places have a different view towards sex. IN canada if a girl has sex with someone just one person for a while and no one else but later moves on nothing is siad.. But if a girls sleeps around with dozen of guys they she has a reputation as a slut.

but family honor around here is prety much none existent so if a girl is labled a slut you dont hear about there parents kicking her out.

And from what ive seen of my friends.. If you have Smart sex you will prety much be safe. (im not sure why everyone who talks about sex says that they WHAM get pregnant!)

But i guess in toomaa's world its totaly different..

Yeah attitudes towards sex and marrage are often a product of culture more than anything else. Some people embrace it, some people rebel against it and some go along with it when it suits them.
Around here the attitude is pretty much the same as what Kamekazi said.

 

actually I'm pretty much sure that the pill is 100% accurate, it's condoms that are faultable

 

or use three.. the pill the condom and the morning after pill..

I know for a fact that it's no 100%.
A guy I know has unfortunatly experience this first hand.

Use a much pretection as possible, that's my motto.

This seems to be kind of parraleling the virgin thread. I don't like it much. I don't think the we should be talking about this here **** in this much detail. It's why the other thread was locked in the first place. This place is meant to be open to everyone and some people might find this topic bad. I don't like being a wet blanket, but in Baka's absence, you should be more careful with this stuff.

Well I started this thread innocently enough. Just as a joke.
It spiraled out of control, but that's not my fault. Im as guilty as everyone else.

But no one is complaining.
And I can't tell you how much I hate censorship.
I don't see why it should be deleted or anything.
If someone can't hack other peoples opinions that's just tough sh*t.

 

Hell, reading back on the posts I'm more innocent than most.

 

I know I know.. we already went through this conversation once. and well it was not a prety conversation at that. But anyway lets put this topic back on track before it ends up in another stupid debate about wether the Misc board will be caned!
