I cant figure out somethign that I'm afraid of but I really really hate bugs/flies and other tiny vermins

This is cause they wake me up at night and they hide like hell when I try and locate where they are, I got a really good ears and wakes up for nothing.
The other thing I hate em for is that they always gotta irritate me when I'm eating or doing something else

IM not afraid of bugs.. just hate em

Tomophobia: Surgical stuff creeps me out. I can watch blood splatter across the screen in an action flick but if I see blood squirting in a scene of an operation or anything of that nature it makes me really freeked out.

Sataniphobia: Also evil terrifies me. Pure evil, like satan and demons and the such. ick!

There are only two things are am afraid of.

Mental institutions and retirement homes- they scare the living s*it out of me. Not the medical setting, mainly the way people suffer, and they way they are treated in there.

Being surrounded by many people at once- I can't manage the stress.

Im with cosmos & Kuroi_Kisa on the whole water phobia's... you cant breathe & theres also the fact that there could be something a couple of feet away putting on it's napkin & donning a knife & fork... with spiders/dogs/ladders you can run away... but in water your pretty much screwed mobility wise, i used to have day dreams of squids tentacles comming out of nowhere in the ocean or occasionally a big freaking huge Whale shark... i know they arent meat eaters but they can still swallow you :s... damn water

Serious injury. I'm okay with dealing with the injuries in others, I just cannot stand it happening to me.

Water it is. Spefically deep water. The more "over-my-head" the worse.
It took me a few years to stop panicing in the deep end of the pool, and longer until I was able to dive to the bottem without freaking. Still, every year the first dive to the bottom of the pool is the hardest one. Sometimes when I feel the bottom I panic and rush to the surface. The idea of the surface being so far away just unerves me.
And water where u don't know what's there can be worse. Actually, in a way as long as I'm completely ignorant of everything I'm in the water with (the site of a drain in a pool creeps me out) I'll be content.
Worst case scenario: I was sailing alone one day when instead of brining the tiny boat to the coast they told me I had to ancor it to the mooring.
Because it was such a tiny boat, if I leaned out of the boat to reach the mooring, the boat would drift away from it (law of physics.) I was forced to jump into the water. That means I had to hold onto the mooring, which is DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE BOTTOM, while I was in the water with it!! Noooo! Nothing worse then tugging on a rope from the top of the water and feeling the other end pull at an anchor at the bottom. It's kinda like a fear of hights-to know that the bottom is sooo far away, but I love hights...
Did i mention I'm going scuba diving tommorow??

I am only scared of two things. The thing that I am absolutely the MOST scared of is pain. I will squall and scream before anything hits me. I can't stand to get hurt that's why I stay inside a lot and I don't run around or play sports. I am scared to death of pain. The second thing I'm scared of is the dark. If it's so dark that I can't see my hand in front of me, then I'll start to freak out. **shivers** ooooh, scarey scarey!

    Arachnophobia- must I explain?

I think it would be called Agoraphobia, but someone please correct me if'n I'm wrong - The fear of expansive spaces (like the opposite of Claustrophobia)

I tend to fear the cold, too; what would that be?
