Psychology Phobias?

Fear of exams... Been through them several times in my life but it continues to nerve-rack me.

Fear of spiders (Arachnophobia) - Enough said!

Fear of 'computer acting strangely' - Ok, this is an odd one. My evenings and weekend mainly and usually composes of sitting in front of a moniter. Sad... I know, when it acts strangely I get all panicky about it.... On the verge of an heart attack.

I think I have a new one --

Fear of stupid Trojan Horse that BROKE THE INTERNET earlier this week (well, wouldn't let me access any search engines, anyway... *sigh*)

 

I can't be around any kind of flying stinging insect . I'm also deathly afraid of worms. Weird thing is I love snakes hmmm. Ohh and I hate shrinks can't stand them the way the can look into your eyes and you feel like they're stairing into your soul.

Spiders - death to those things
Centipedes - hate them too. Even worse I've been seeing more of them lately, and I crush them all after watching them move for a bit cause that's kinda cool
Heights - except when I'm on an airplane, I'm not scared on those for some odd reason
Knives and other sharp things - this was because when i was young I cut myself playing with my dad's razor. Lately this fear has been reduced, I still beware of knives and NEVER peel potatoes with a knife. (and yes, i do shave for those that wonder, I'm just REALLY careful...)
Death - I just don't know what'll happen when i die, what about my family? Will i be remembered? i'm just scared of it... I WANT TO BE IMMORTAL!!! ;_;

 

My only phobia is aging....every year i get more scared of myself

 

My worst phobias....
1. Snakes: cant' stand them
2. Smelly guy from golfland: OMG can't breath and it was a worst experience I've ever had in my life. :dizzy2:

 

Forgot to mention that clowns scare the **** out of me! Waaaah! Scaaaaary! :_; *cries and runs away*

 

I have a fear of hieghts and flying.
Well not flying,its more like bieng 35000 feet in the air and suddenly not flying.But i guess both of those can be put together.

 

They scare me too.

I'm also scare of:

- Dolls (Most of them scare me while other I just want to cut/chop their head off)
- Bugs (the creepy crawly one. Dragonflies and butterflies are the only bug I like ^-^)
- Snakes
- Push ups (hehehehe...)
- Murder (I'm not afraid of death...I'm just afraid of seeing/being kill)
- Getting shot (I only went through it once without screaming/crying!)
- Sickness (I once was sick and in pain...that was a scary experience...I thought I was gonna die like the way my grandpa did...I can still remember the pain and how much I scream and cry)
- Living a life of lonliness

I can't really remember anything else. You all probably think most of these are silly, but the sickness and the lonliness one is not silly to me. The rest I think all silly, but I just can't help it.

 

I heard that someone was scared of ballons......i found that kind of hilarious. Once again my phobia is ageing.....i dont want to be old!!

 

I'm terrified of needles. Just thinking about them makes me pale. Gah. **pales** I hate needles.

 

You know, I had to dig this one back up since I found out a really strange fear of mine: Non-chalant laughter. It makes me terribly nervious and I feel like they are laughing at me . I can't explain it any more than that, and I have no real idea where it stems from.

 

Arachnophobia.... I hate spiders.... If there is a spider near me, I always back up a little. It started from when I was at summer camp when I was four, and this kid (a little older than me) found a spider that looked huge to me. Then he said he'd feed me to it and the fear stayed... god, I hate spiders... :anger2:

 

Aliens....whimper....I read too many books. :dizzy2:

Also many other things that no one else seems to believe in except for me, like ghosts and Bigfoot, scare me very badly, and those creepy old guys who stare at you.

 

Heights - I've actually gotten better about this. Any of you who live in California or have gone to California adventure, do you remember the cute jellyfish ride created for small children? That thing used to scare the **** out of me, not to mention I almost had a flipping seizure during my first airplane ride.

Sharp Objects - I don't mind weaponry (swords 'n such) so much, at least when I'm the one controlling them. But tiny ones, needles 'n thumbtacks 'n such, those things freak me out. When I was about eight I actually ran out of the doctor's office when he came at me with a bloodtest.

 

Arachnophobia, i can't stand the sight of spiders. And even worse the sight of them moving. There's just something about the way that they move that makes me shiver, and then sends me into a full panic attack. Thats why i don't think i'll ever go to a rain forest or a place that has deadily ones.
In fact i won't EVER do my shopping in Tesco's, cause they've actually confirmed that in the place where they grow their grapes in California (i think), instead of using pesticides to get ride of insects they use Black Windows to eat the insects. And people have found black windows in their grapes. Scares the hell out of me just thinking of it.

 

I'm not so great with heights, I just get really dizzy :dizzy2: . Mostly I fear horses though, I used to be around them a lot, I'm not exactly sure what made me just suddenly decide that I couldn't stand to be around them..I guess it was just because I was always slighly on edge because they can be so unpredictable.

 

Heh, for a while, after I watched the movie Arachnophobia, I was afraid of spiders. But i got over it. I like to think of myself as the fearless type, not even fearing death, but there is one thing that does get to me over all others. And that one thing is... a secret! (Imagine Xelloss here)

But seriously, the one thing that really bugs me is grasshoppers. Ever since one hitched a ride into my house on my neck... ugh. (shudders) But even that is fading with time, and I imagine that, before too long, I can claim to be fearless once more.

 

I used to have a social phobia(i got it after my parents divorced), i was afraid of talking to strangers, i could talk only to my family and close friends. I went into therapy and its much better now, i still avoid parties, but i go to bars and niteclubs Its slowly going away... I also have a spider phobia, even litte ones scare the sh#t out of me. Yeah... thats about it...

 

yup i know how you feel, ive got a social phobia, and im currently in therapy for it. its getting better, but before i only talked to people close to me.
