Taiyoko walked over to Tsuki, smiling. "Hi, you ready? Im sure we will make it to the Shrine just fine...Wheres Kaiyon?" Taiyoko asked, smiling warmly. Taiyoko looked around, seeing the other groups gather together... "This survival trip should be rather interesting...I wonder what kind of traps sensei has set for us...Only one way to find out, we need to reach that Shrine...And thats what I intend to do..." Taiyoko thought in his head...He looked back at Tsuki, smiling and waiting for he to say something.
Athena smiled at Minako and nodded her head. As they waited for Tetsu her thoughts turned to the bus ride. On the way up, when she had fallen asleep, she had a dream that was strange to her and about a guy that she had never met before... or had she... she shook her head of it, knowing she needed to concentrate on the task at hand and smiled at Minako and said, "We have to stick together and trust each other to get through this test... otherwise I'm sure that we'll end up in trouble... if not death."
Kakajo sighed......"seems like this little camp will never start! C'mon sensei! I want this over with already!" he said. Kakajo already felt impatient hanging around everyone, and he had gotten nervious at the teacher's reaction to the note she held in her hands....
Tetsu joined his group, stiffling a yawn. He had slept for a good portion of the ride, and was still slightly tired, but he was refreshed and much stronger than before. "I agree. If we don't work together, we won't make it." He smiled at his two teammates, placing a hand on the hilt of his blade. He was a little out there at the moment, but he was concentrating on the task at hand, no matter how distant he seemed. His dog-like ears twitched, listening to all the sounds around him, as he was all ready overly alert.
Tsuki glance behind her for a moment, noticing the new students. If people would just show up on time the teachers wouldn't get agrivated with them. She shook her head and kept moving. "Hi, you ready? Im sure we will make it to the Shrine just fine...Wheres Kaiyon?" She looked forward, pointing, "He's over there." She nodded to him, smiling, "We should get going. It'll be harder for us to make it there if we don't finish before dark." As she walked, she nodded Kaiyon, "Not to interoupt your little chat, but we need to go." It didn't sound rude. She found it hard to be rude, even when she wanted to. But there was a small hint of urgency in her voice. She looked up the the mountain. She didn't know how high it was, but it wasn't going to be easy. At least for her. She glance around at all the other students. She'd do just as well as they did. She had to for her own pride's sake. * Minako gazed at Athena, "Is something wrong?" She asked. She almost had to shout because she was a little farther away. * "Seems like this little camp will never start! C'mon sensei! I want this over with already!" TaiKami-Yura glared at him. Damn Brat...she thought. She folded her arms, agrivated. "It's not my fault you were too lazy to find a partner." She snapped, "I suggest you find some one soon. I said this was a team work assignment, remember. No team, no passing grade. And I don't think your fellow students would apreciate you getting them a failing grade." She glanced over at a new arrival and roller her eyes. Again, she hated it when people were disrespectful of her. She was was a teacher and as at least deserved the students arriving for class some time. And there was even an uninvited arrival. She grumbled in her throat and sighed. Of course, she had been expecting this girl. But it still made her angry. "You're late. It's too late to join the mission, so you'll be at the top with me waiting."
"Minako-San hang on for a moment." Athena shouted to her. "TaiKami-Sensei, should Kakajo join our trio and make it a group of four?" Athena asked, overhearing the problem. She looked to Tetsu to see if he minded.
Bella glared at Shinryu. "Ass.." She said to herself. She shrugged her shoulders and she started to follow him.
Kakajo was staring at the sky, wondering when the test would start. He overheard Athena's indirect invitation to her team. He looked back at her, and he saw her looking back at him. Quickly he turned his face away. He walked towards her and said "I've no problem being on this team!....". Then he moved towards Athena, grabbing her hands calmly while minorly bowing down yet still looking at her and said "....no problem. Don't worry Athena-kun! I promise I'll always protect you". He said this with a look of both seriousness and his typical Don-Juanism.................
Tetsu gave Athena a look that told her that he could care less as to who joined thier team. In truth, the more the merrier, so long as they keep on task. He seemed patient, but he was eager to get this over with, his foot tapping on the ground as he looked about the area, studying the different people there.
Athena sighed and said, "I don't need your protection but your help in this mission would be nice so we don't all fail." She then headed up towards Minako-san and smiled at Tetsu before reaching Minako's side, "Sorry Minako-san... but i didn't want all of us to fail because he wasn't in a group."
Tsuki nodded to Kaiyon. She didn't need to be told twice. When she was sure that the others were ready, she began up the mountain trail, running, rushing to get this whole mission done with. She had to jump a little bit, either that or trip over stones and up-rooted tree trunks and such, but she found the run rather easy. She hoped it'd be enough. * Minako didn't nod or object. She just watched Athena, Tetsu, and then Kakajo. She wasn't sure of him, but Athena was right. It wasn't worth failing over. She turned around, taking a seporate path than the first group who'd left. She didn't want them using her team to there advantage, "Let's just hurry with this." She said simply, turning her head a little from ahead of them. * TaiKami-Yura gazed at the top of the mountail, and then Ruby. It wouldn't be too hard to get to the top before the students. Even with the girl with her. Besides, she figured it'd be better to keep Ruby with her and not send her to work with Karukai. She had a feeling that they'd cause trouble together. She turned back to the mountain and gazed at the top. The sun seemed to shine over it perfictly. It was almost bright enough for her not to see it. Almost. I wonder how many will make it past the top of the mountain...she thought with almost concern. Almost. But she didn't have much time to think about it because she could feel a hand on her shoulder. She slightly turned her head, seeing a familiar face grinning at her. Wonderful... "heh.....Its been a long while, hasn't it sensei?" She snorted a grin, "Obveously not long enough. I could heat you coming." She stated simply, "You need more practice in stealth. Haven't I told you?" It was a scarcastic sound. If you knew her well enough, you'd know that her voice was much nicer than usual. "What's wrong!? I thought someone like you could at least say "I missed you"". "I missed you. Happy?" She said, suspicouse. She turned around, "Why are you here? I hardly believe you came to see me."
Having easily caught up with Karukai, Shinryu continued to advance up the mountain. So far, there were no problems. Sure, Shinryu could easily have teleported himself to the top, but he did not wish to win by cheating. He would show everyone that he could beat them at their game His thoughts continued in this vein until he reached the first obstacle...
"I came here on what you could call 'personal bussiness' " he explained. He looked at her giving her a warm smile and said "You still hold grudges to your old students!?" * As Kaiyon was walking, sensed creatures around the mountain. "Hmmm...." He looked around and heard the noise of several creatures moving. He caught a gaze and saw a huge animal with great wings. "Wha....is that....a Pegasus?" * Katsuke saw Kaiyon looking around and thought "Oh....what simple little test must he pass". "This isn't another one of your freaky tests, is it Tai-Kami-kun!?" * As the creature got closer, he saw many more of its kind appear. It was after a few seconds that all of the students were surrounded by wild Griffins. The foulest of the foulest for Kaiyon, as he always had a hard time with flying creatures. "Wait a minute....where did creatures like these come from?" Now the creatures had surrounded them, one for each student. Kaiyon looked around at everyone's enthusiasm since they havent really seen any action in a while. "Ah, hell..." he said, and the he yelled "COULD YOU GUYS WATCH IT!? i DON'T WANT ANY BLOOD ON MY UNIFORM!" He then drew his sword......
Athena laughed as she heard Kaiyon's comment and shouted, "I'll try not to Kaiyon." Athena then grinned slightly as she took her offensive sword fighting stance and ran towards the griffion. At the last second she leaped up and landed on the griffions back where she plunged her sword into it before she was sent flying off with her sword. She managed to catch the sword as she landed a few feet away from the griffion and it turned to face her... this would be fun.
Tai-Kami watched as the animals serounded her students. Not expecting it so early, she sighed. At least they could have waited until she and her company got to the top. It would have only taken ten minutes. She looked to Sashumar, wondering why he hadn't left yet. "You, go with them. I'd highly doubt that you'd want to just stand here, sense you're not coming to the top." She didn't really like the idea of someone other than a member of her class interfering with this lesson, but she really didn't have any choice. She had to talk to Katsuke in private. She doubted he could resist litstening to their conversation with his demon hearing. She sighed, "We're leaving." She said to Katsuke and Ruby, who hadn't said a thing sense the students left. She took a different path than the students did, knowing that this trip was devoid of any traps. She didn't have time to waste with annoyances like that. * Minako gazed in the eyes of the griffan infront of her. She gripped her sword , which was still in the strap around her waist. She grimanced, hoping she'd be able to draw it in time. "I'm not afraid of you..." She mumbled quietly. The beast tilted it's head, seemingly entertained with it's adversairy. She roared then, and Minako drew her sword, just evading it's claws swiping at her. As the creature moved it's giant hand, Minako ran to it's side and jammed it into it's lower gut. Pulling herself up, she balanced herself on the sword, her heels lifted, gripping it's fur. "You want real hell?" She said. Once again, gripping the handle to the sword, she shouted, "Then here it is." As she said it, small shocks of electrisity ran through the blade, straight into the monster. It howeled in pain and Minako drew out her blade, jumping off. It wasn't dead yet, but it wouldn't be long. * Tsuki took a step back. "Didn't expect that." She mumbled. She hadn't really been trained with this, but she gripped her weapon. She searched for a weak spot.
Bella followed Shinryu up the mountain. She stared at the ground and hummed to herself. "I dont get the point of this." She thought to herself. She shrugged and continued walking.
Standing in front of the gorge that was the first obstacle, Shinryu noticed sounds of battle not far off. 'I wonder what could be happening over there.' he thought. 'But, it doesn't matter, Karukai, and the task, takes priority. The others can take care of themselves.' Turning to Karukai, who seemed totally unconcerned over the sounds, he said, with a grin on his face, "I know how to get across this gorge. I'll throw you across, and follow after." Without waiting for a response, Shinryu grabbed Karukai by the collar and proceeded to hurl him, face first, across the gorge. Casting a quick flight spell, Shinryu was soon over as well, and continued up the mountain, not waiting for the angry reaction he was sure to get from Karukai.
Athena grinned as the griffion took a swipe at her. She leaped backwards and turned to find herself against a wall of trees. "Sh*t." she thought, as the griffion loomed before her, "I hate being in this position.... i'm not a helpless girl....." Athena took a defensive position knowing she could heal her wounds later if need be.
