Tetsu dodged a strike from one of the gryphons, rolling on the ground as he pulled the small dagger from his ankle band. As he stood, he took a quick swipe at the creature, slicing into the side of its face. This caused the creature to fall back just enough for the pup to cast a simple ice spell on it, freezing it, then he placed the dagger between his teeth, drawing his katana. He hit the frozen beast before him, shattering it.
Athena watched as the griffons claws came crashing down towards her. She held up her sword and it took the brunt of the blow but she was still scratched on one arm. A thin line of blood trickled down her arm and she glared at the griffon. She lunged at it and attempted to cleanly cut off the arm of the griffon that had harmed her. ooc: I know that i am spelling griffon wrong but i'm to lazy to find out what the right spelling is.
Tai-Kami Yura walked into a dark cave quietly. She had her arms folded, and the look on her face was far from entertained. She noticed a small flower growning in the shadows of the small space and wrinkled her nose. It smelt nice, but she hated flowers. The always meant something bad for her. She turned around to face the others behind her. She knew they knew what was going to happen tonight. Her eyes seemed to glow strangely in the shadows. This was her true habitat. She belonged to shadows like these. * Minako grew very bored with the antics of the gaint bird. She decided she'd quick playing with it and kill it. "I hope you find salvation in the afterlife." She said, simply. As she said it, she threw her sword, which was fully charged with electric power, at the neck of the beast, hitting dead on. She moved swiftly to aviod contact with the blood.
Kaiyon looked at the bird with more seriousness than he had ever showed since he stepped into the school. He looked at the Griffons eyes and ran towards it. The Griffon reacted by doing as he did and flew towards him at an intense speed. No one was preocupied enough to look at Kaiyon's little fight, but all everyone saw was the creature continue flying and avoiding Kaiyon. A second later it crashed on a tree in its path. Blood was only seen on the left wing. He walked towards it and kneeled down, disregarding anything else going on around him. He set his hands in a praying position and mumbled "Lord who art thou in heaven, please forgive thee for...". He continued for several seconds, but the rest of the words he spoke were barely inaudiable. ----- Katsuke gave himself no choice but to follow Tai-Kami to where she was going. As he walked, he saw her expression due to the flower's stench. Knowing she hated them he said *sniff sniff* "hmmm....gotta nice smell doesent it Tai-Kami-kun!?" He chuckled knowing this would make her more angry than she already seemed by being in that place.
"Eeek! I'm here! Thank goodness. Sorry I'm late!" said Mikko Aiketsu as she came in in rather a hurry, she pulled out her hand mirror to check her make-up. She then stood there waiting for instructions.
After seeing that little show that Kayion made, Kakajo couldn't help but wonder, and thought to himself:"Why? Why did he just pray for the same creature that tried to kill him. Why is it that he's so nice for?" Kakajo then stood there, thinking by himself next to Mikko, also awaiting for further instructions.
"So. What are we doing?" asked Mikko looking around. She poised* herself so she would look attractive, even though she knew she didn't need to. [OOC] Poised - Posed...er...positioned....ack...I can't think of anyother way to explain it....
Athena glared at the creature, she had to finish it off but for some reason her body felt heavy... as if her body weighed a ton. She felt her skin cool and her eyes could no longer see anything but darkness clouding around her. She gasped in a breath before she lost all conciousness and slouched forward onto the damp ground. ooc: sorry about this you guys but i needed to do something with my character until i can come back to the rpg. I should be able to get on more regularly since my friends have offered to let me use their computers.
Tetsumiro caught the sight of Athena losing consciousness, and didn't waste any time making his way towards the creature she happened to be fighting at the moment. He drew his dagger as he moved over to them, throwing it so it would stick right into the side of the gryphon's head. It was a waste of a creature that could be so beautiful, but it couldn't be helped. The blue-haired boy made his way over to Athena, lifting her up to carry her on his back. He'd most likely carry her until she gained consciousness, or until he found a good place to rest for a moment. Right now, his first priority would be getting her to a safer, calmer area; away from these creatures. (( Uhm, if this doesn't work, tell me. :sweat2: ))
ooc: I'm back from my school trip. New York was awesome!!! AIC: Athena came to and smiled at Tetsu and whispered, "Thank you. I don't know what came over me." Athena landed on her feet, on the ground, and unsheathed her sword to be ready for whatever other attackers there may be. She again said, "Thank you Tetsu."
Kaiyon had felt what Athena had seen, and so could Katsuke. Both of them knew everyone else felt at least a hint of it, but they also knew that Tai-Kami knew what had happened. -Katsuke looked at her, and gave her a strange look. "You have to stop doing this to your students. You know, they could mess up. "Just so you know, I dont care as long as they finish them up quicker replied Tai-Kami. You never seize to amaze me, he though. Maybe....but I wont go there here. Those kids are making a hell of a lot of noise....damn it. -As Kaiyon had finished his batch of griffons, he looked at Athena as she was carried by Tetsumiro and thought deep for a second. He opened his eyes and he still had them in view. "hmmmm....." [OOC: I had to use the characters that arent mine since the users havent been on in a preety while. What I did doesent alter the outcome of the RPG. So please, continue as you were]
Meanwhile... Shinryu was a bit surprised that Karukai hadn't yet responded. In fact, he hadn't even moved. Could his landing on this side of the gorge have killed him? 'No, that's not possible. He's not that weak. That impact couldn't possibly have killed him.' He said, to himself. 'He must only be unconcious.' Turning around, Shinryu walked back to Karukai, where he lay, face down, on the ground. Evil though he was, Shinryu couldn't just leave him there. He moved to grab Karukai's collar again, this time, with the intent to carry him up the mountain, until he awoke. Before he could catch ahold of the collar, though, Karukai's eyes shot open. His hand lunged for Shinryu's throat. Within seconds, Shinryu was in the air, held up by Karukai's hand alone. 'You think I'll let you get away with that?' Karukai's voice had taken on a much more... evil quality. The very sound of it would make any good person scream in pain. Shinryu, on the other hand, was struggling to breathe. He grabbed at Karukai's arm, and attempted to pull it off of his neck, to no avail. Karukai merely began to laugh. It was an evil sound.
Athena heard Karukai's evil laugh and she felt that a friend was in danger. Without even thinking about it she sped off and away from her group and towards the sound. She leaped and landed not to far away from Shinryu and saw what was happening. "Unhand him now Karukai!!!!" Athena shouted, she felt power surging throughout her body and she would use it.
Tetsumiro smiled at Athena, shaking his head slightly. "No problem." His keen ears flipped down at Kakurai's evil laughter, and he quickly grabbed up his dagger, following Athena. He skidded to a stop not too far behind Athena, placing his free hand on his Katana. He kept silent, ready to fight if need be.
Kaiyon had felt what was going on and quickly traveled to the fighting. When events came to his sight, he drew his sword. He looked at Tetsumiro's confident look and thought "Hmmmm, can't he see how powerfull he is!?" He jumped and aimed for Kurakai's hand and drew all his concentration in it, knowing it'd be nessecary. As he was getting close, a great swooshing noise was heard and a sword approached flying. The handle of the sword hit Kaiyon in the head hard enough to knock him unconsious. -The sword was Katsukes, and he went to pick it up. "You kids stop playing now" Tai Kami walked behind him and nodded as she looked at Kurakai. Katsuke looked at the area and shook his head. "You kids make a hell of a mess. Must be some sort of advanced class". When he looked at Kurakai he thought "Where's this kid from. Those eyes, and that clothing. Even the power surging through him....." He picked his sword up, and looked at Kaiyon. He though "How didn't you see that?....This place's making you go soft....idiot".
Karukai looked straight at Athena, and said, his eyes jet black, "Who will stop me? You? Him?" glancing at Tetsumiro as he spoke. "I think not." Glaring at Tai-Kami, he said, "You interrupted me before, but not this time. This time, I'm going to finish it. And... him." Looking back at Shinryu, he noticed his mistake. He had let himself get distracted. He had loosened his grip around Shinryu's neck just enough for him to chant a spell. A wall of force shoved Karukai back, forcing him to release his hold on Shinryu. While he was still stunned, Shinryu drew his father's sword, and, with the blade blazing with blue flame, swung mightily. Slashing Karukai viciously, striking his face, Shinryu said, "You will never kill me. Your evil can never triumph." Karukai screamed in pain, and, clutching his face where Shinryu had cut him, (His left eye, to be exact) he staggered backward. Too far backward. He fell over the cliff. ooc: I'm not killing him off. But if this is going too far, PM me, and I'll change it.
"Shoot" Athena whispered, she knew if anyone died they would all fail this exercise and she wouldn't let anyone die if she could help it... even him. Athena took a deep breath and then a running leap after Karukai. She felt the wind push her hair back as she streamlined herself. She grabbed hold of Karukai's wrist and then onto a tree branch that was sticking out.
The moment Athena grabbed Karukai's wrist, he grabbed hers, and he glared at her. His eyes had returned to their usual color, but that didn't make his gaze any less terrible. Gazing at her, with one eye a piercing stare, the other a bloody mess, he grinned. Athena felt a sharp pain in her wrist, and was forced to drop Karukai. He fell without a sound, grinning the whole way. After she pulled herself onto the ledge, she inspected her wrist, the pain was gone, but she found that the skin where he had grabbed her had turned a grayish-black, like rot. And it was spreading.
Tai Kami ran ahead of Katsuke to stop the fight herself. "You really dont know when to quit, do you?" whispered Tai Kami. She ran in a flash fast enough to stop all the events. Katsuke widened his eyes and though "well...someone's been practicing" The last thing she went for was Shinryu. She grabbed him and tossed him away, disregarding that his unsheathed sword might accidentally harm him or anyone. "If anyone of you ever tries crap like that again, getting failed will be the least of your worries with me" she yelled with an angered tone. She looked towards Shinryu and said "no more fighting....got it?" Katsuke shook his head and thought "maybe they should listen to her". He looked at Kaiyon, dissapointed in his reactions. "Damn it kid, I know you can do better than that...."
Shinryu whipped his head around to look at Tai-Kami. "Are you insane? He was going to kill me! And you accuse me of fighting? It's self-defense!" Wiping his sword free of Karukai's blood, which, he now noticed, was as black as his eyes had been, he sheathed it. "Why is his blood black?" Shinryu asked himself... "I wonder what it could mean..." None of the others heard this, he was turning it over in his mind. He decided he would keep the cloth he had wiped his sword with, and put it away. He would cast a preservation spell on it as soon as the attention was off of him.
