Hey guys, I should've posted these earlier or something...
These pictures are all taken with a webcam so the quality isn't too good, man I wish I had a scanner to show you just how good I really am. :sweat2:

    A picture of a girl
    A chick
Something I made up in math class for a friends site.
    A lion
    Fanart of Sepheroth
    Sepheroth
My first fully colored picture(quality sucks) At first I just drew what was at the top of my head, then everyone said it looked like a FF pic so there...
    FF pic
Diablo pic I made up during math class(yeah, I get bored in class you can tell  )

wow *huggles superfly and chejo* sooooooo great ^_^, the shading , I am lost for words ^_^ I love you all yay. Cant wait to show these to my other half ^_^. How do you get that texture on her net top and tights chejo? and how do you get the shading like that superfly?. COOOOOOLLLL.

Tsuno those pics are great, you have a way with shade and chalk (I asume the lion is with chalk?) What you might want to watch out for is the positioning of the eyes. I have made a mini tutorial, it is attatched to this post. Dont worry for ages I refused to do it this way because I just couldnt do it, but not so long ago I started to use that techniuqe and now my pictures look much better. Also if you take a close look at the finished face I have included you will see were those lines are (I get lazy and its kinda complicated trying to rub them out afterwards.) Hope it helps.

Shading? Just plain old pencils, but I had been using like.. refill pencils, y'know? Mechanic pencils, or whatever you people call those. :anime:
After using it for a few minute i have sort of a flatter point on the lead which is really smooth, so that's who i did it.
Oh, and she was pretty fun to draw, reminds me of designing a gun patrol in my story as well (part of Never End is revolving about the new technologies in the fantasy world and stuff which are plot items which i don't wanna reveal yet...)
Oh, on other forums, people said the line on her tummy was annoying, so i removed it.

It's just a good old sharp mechanical pencil.
Hope it makes sense, but it's the only way i could explain it.

It's been so long since I posted on this forum... I must apologise I have been hindered by school preliminary examinations... I hate revision... anyways this is an incomplete sketch I am working on... nearly done. Just wondering if there are any improvements you could give.

I just wish to say I liked Rem's gungirl sketch greatly and Superfly's fanart is awesome too. I will try to look over all the superb art I have missed.

Yeah thanks, I noticed the left shoulder after I had posted it up and tried to fix it, lowering the actual shoulder and layering the clothing over it... I think it looks better.

About colouring, yeah sure I suppose I could but I'm thinking on putting something in the backround just to give the sketch something else. So after that I might.

Okay... there is no way in HELL I'm sifting through seventeen pages of sketches and compliments/comments to take a look at everyone, I'm sorry guys (y'bastids need ta' stop posting so many bloody pictures!)... so I'll take a look at the last three pages.

    ~ ~ ~

Eruption (by Christabel): Definitely not the best of your artwork, man. You've had countless good pictures that I've seen but this one is a bit on a lower standard. Not trying to like make you feel bad or anything (art and writing are the two things I don't try to bash people about, 'cause I try to do 'em both and tend to suck at both). Really, I think it's the face. Because, the way I see it, here we have this more athletic, well-built character yet the face is kind of smooth, with rounded features and details and just doesn't seem to suit the body very well. If you're willing to maybe experiment, maybe try with some harder, more sharper details on the cheeks, jaw, etc. Just a suggestion, see how it turns out, y'know?

Manga Page (by Chejo): In all honesty, your art style never really appealed to me.. y'know, the whole heads-that-are-of-a-larger-volume-than-the-entire-upper-body-arms-included-style. But alas in this case I'll make an exception. Everything seems really well drawn and the general organization of the page as a whole came out very good. Good job.

cizephy (by Chejo): This is the kind of thing I was talking about. I just have a hard time really enjoying the look of a character like this. But that aside, it really is a good picture, everything, like most of your art, is really well-drawn and everything seems to be in order (taking into account your style) and consistent with your style of drawing.

Kurufenrir (by Superfly): I love you, man. I really do. I'm a sucker for anything Norse mythology and the second I saw the word "Fenrir" I jumped to look at this picture and, for the life of me, I don't regret it in the least. The huddled-over positioning, the way the fingers are flexed, curled and poised, the discarded glasses right on down to the almost sadistic look in his face. I love it. The only fault I could possibly find, if I had to target something, might be his right foot. I don't know why, for the life of me, but something just calls out to me about it and I honestly can't put my finger on it. But, that aside, I love the picture, I really do.

7 (by DarkDom): After viewing the three of your pics here, I decided this is probably my favorite just because of the background and the sort of shadowed silhouette effect of the character, and the whole glint in the sword. The sword looked nice though there's something about the hilt that just seems to throw it off for me for some reason.

3 (by DarkDom): I, in all honesty, don't know what to think about this picture. Whatever it is that you were doing, the all around process of drawing, detailing and shading/shadowing/etc. all game out very good. The picture itself... I don't know, it just doesn't appeal to me and there's just too much that throws it off for me. Sorry man.

8 (by DarkDom): A better picture, well designed character with nicely drawn form and clothes. Another nice moon-lit background, but alas another character has fallen victim to having to have an absurdly fancy weapon (I blame it on Cloud Strife and Dante, personally :p But then again I tend to do some of the same things with my characters). But, yeah, this weapon just seems too brutal and a bit unbelievable, even if it were part of a fantasy plot. Providing those are what I think they are (wings), those look nice as well, if you were trying to go for a more cherubic look for them (IE as in something that can't be used).

Sword Guy (Rem): I like the sword, very nicely done. Though, the neck looks a bit too long and it wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that the upper body looks so large and wide because of the clothing, of course it might just be how my eyes are looking at it, y'know? Providing it's supposed to be a male (judging from how it says "Sword Guy") maybe try putting at least a little more muscle on him, or broaden the shoulders a bit more. Maybe make the neck a bit shorter or wider, I don't know. Just try experimenting a little (sorry, not trying to cramp your style or anything).

Trooper (Rem): A nicer pic, I Like this one a bit better than the sword guy. Though something seems to be up with his legs and his upper body looks a bit too long. But really, that part is minor, my only real observation is the legs. They just look off, not to mention the kneepads look off-balance (unless they're supposed to be that way. If they are, I'm really sorry).

Elves (Rem): Probably my favorite picture of yours so far, I really like the picture of the Elf's head in the back. The female Elf looks really nice though the thick eyebrows are kind of a turn off, though aside from that she looks great. As for the guy in the back, he looks practically flawless except for the markings. I think y'should either cut the ones on the right side shorter or make the ones on the left side look like they're going longer (by making it so that they aren't shown ending as if they are like the ones on the other side, they'd ride up to the bridge of the nose, which we can't see from that angle, so technically we shouldn't be able to see them ending from that angle).

Sitting Girl (Rem): Another good pic, I like the hair. It sort of reminds me of Merle from Chrono Trigger (I think that was her name). No real criticism for this pic besides that she looks a little buffly, y'know, like she's been pumping some iron, but once again, could be my eyes playing tricks on me. :p

Gun Girl 1 (Rem): Okay, correction, THIS is probably my favorite of yours so far (and no, it's NOT because of the lack of clothing, you pervs). Out of all your pictures that I have seen this probably seems to have the best in lines of proportion and all around body defintion and all that junk. Also, I Really like the short hair. Very nice picture.

Gun Girl 2 (Rem): This picture is nice, but I personally preferred the first one. Though again like the last everything seems to be in order (unlike what the fellow says I don't see a problem with the size of the head and all). Only criticism I have for this pic is to try and do some more details with guns, work a bit more on them. Look up sites with pictures of guns and such to at least get a more detailed view and put more too it, and then add in your own tidmits (because these guns just seem to be lacking, sort of). Though the character herself is very well done.

The Angle Davil {The Angel Devil?} (by Blue Tiger): I can't see it! It's too small, too hard to tell. ;_; Really, like, blow it up, draw it bigger or something, I can't really comment on it like that, man.

Fork In The Road Copy (by CP): I don't quite get it... :p But it's a good pic. Nicely draw and such, though the right shoulder looks like it should be a bit larger (longer, wider, I don't know), because it looks like the two shoulders ae uneven. S'really the only criticism I have for this. Otherwise, good job.

Gun Girl (by Chejo): An improvement of your other pics (not in drawing technique and ability but more favorable style for my tastes, for some reason). Love those eyes and the general body position. Though, yeah, the guns need some work (Psh, Like I'm one to talk :p I still draw stick-pistols).

Shadow-san (by Rem): Another good picture from you Rem, you did a really good job drawing this one, though for some reason it doesn't really look as if the upper body and the legs are really connected. Though like many things it might be my eyes playing tricks on me. But, yeah, other wise great pic. Love the look on her face.

Gun Girl (by Superfly): Oh my God.. Oh Jesus, please, let me have your children. x_x Anyways.. *clears his throat* Easily the best picture I have seen from what I've looked at on this thread... my God man, I don't even know where to start on this one, I really don't. Everything just looks great. Her face is perfect, I absolutely LOVE that hair, and the guns came out very nice. Really I don't think I could find something I don't like about this picture if I even tried. I really can't.

Gun Girl 2 (by Chejo): Definitely looks better now that she's got some leg room and all. ;) Really, feel the same about it as your last rendition of the pic, only I like this one much more since it actually looks complete and all.

A Chick (by Tsuno): It's really hard to tell with this pic, I chalk it up to a bad scan job but from what I can tell, it's a really nice drawing. Though her face is too reminiscent of yucky Inuyasha. >

A Lion (by Tsuno): A... very strange pic indeed. I dunno, don't really have much to say about this one. It looks good.. just looks strange.

Sephiroth (by Tsuno): I hope your happy, I cracked my neck trying to look at this pic. > Anyways... it's an okay pic. The head looks kind of off for some reason.

FF Pic (by Tsuno): Probably my favorite of your pics, it looks pretty good, though I would wonder how it would look without Cloud standing there. Might give a more dramatic feel and all.

Diablo (by Tsuno): Hrm.. I don't know.. just doesn't appeal to me. It's a nice picture and all, I mean it's well drawn, you put some good effort into it I can tell... but nothing I really like.

Gun Girl Revised (by Superfly): See statements about original (I think it looks great either way, man. Though without the line it does look like something's missing)

    (to be continued)

    (reviews continued)

Colored Pic Thingy (by Chejo): Well for this pic I'm gonna judge on the coloring job and not your drawing style, which I like a lot more (the coloring job that is). The shading and such on the hair came out really good and I like the color for her hair and the color of the eyes seems to go well with it.

Character (by Ace): A pretty good picture. I recommend working a bit on the clothing because the coat/vest/jacket/whatever it is doesn't seem to be angled correctly with how his body is unless that was intentional. And... I'm sorry... I just absolutely hate that weapon. I can't stand it. I hate it. I'm so sorry, man, I really am.

Wasted Time (by Chejo) A good pic. Well draw, nice details, all that junk.. though yet again I Just don't like the size of the head compared to the body and all.. but trying to be as unbiased as I can, it's really a good picture.

    ~ ~ ~

OKAY! THERE! I AM FINALLY DONE, ARE YOU ALL HAPPY?!?!?!?! >!

But, seriously though, I enjoyed looking at all your pics though tonight's really not the night for me to go and look through them all (since I have to wake up in eight hours). Maybe another time.

I'll also take this time to post an age-old picture of mine (I think it's about a year and a half old?) This is of a character I had for an X-Men and Vampire/Lycanthrope RP (two different RPs), named Guy (I had posted his pic here in M2A a while back when I was still known as ArkAnjil/~Zack~).

    http://www.mangatoanime.com/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=416

As you can see I had major trouble with the neck, I always made them rather long. Also I was never one for shading/shadowing, I just could never do it and I still can't.

Amon Sena, you took a lot of time to reply to these pictures, I am impressed!

And you draw very nicely too. I like that sketch of the headshot of the guy that you posted. His smile is very.... mischievous, a little? I dunno. Nice hair, nice eyes too :D. Gah. i want to see more of him... XD

Chejo, wonderful sketch! She really seem very huntress-like, a little wild, and untamed :). I like her outfit and pose:) You should finish it, colour it, or something! :D!

Yeah Norse mythology is nice, especially with all the wolves in them :sweat2:
Though I only got to know a bit about Norse mythology through the Ragnarök manga's, in which they sort of raped the mythology a bit (like Fenrir being the lover of Baldur in the past and such)
But yeah, I'm only usng the wolf gods in my story since they apply to the summoner (as stated in the picture)
