I can't view your online manga Superfly, it takes me to a website in all in German.
How old are you guys in here? I'd really like to know.

 

It's Dutch, not German, and I'm redesigning my site so I took off all the pages it had since the page was somewhat bad influence in case of the storyline and character designs. But heck, I'll put them back online.

HI HI HI!!! nice to be back, my computer broke, well it kinda went crazy, big virus and it just died really, well its back now and I have a empty hardrive!!! yey. Ayway nice to see some new faces, not too mention some great art. Like always I love your art superfly ^_^. I have some new stuff too, scanning them now, will put them up soon (one is a elf) yey. heya, anyway here are some new sketches by me.

1st one: Just some guy with a sword, I started him about a year ago, then never finished him, I decided to give him eyes last week. here he is, just plain line art really.

2nd one: He is my Trooper, I like him but my boyfriend seems to really hate him. I think the problem with this one is the hand holding the book, anyone got any tips on how I should have done that?.

3rd one: I wanted some elven influence in my folder, I like elves, my boyfriend seems to dislike them though, but he likes this pic. I am not sure of the story behind it, I would have to say its some sort of love thing, any ideas?. This one will be CGed by both me and my boyfriend.

4th one:This started as a character design but I notaiced that she looks so much like Sally from Chugsworth Academy (anyone heared of it?). So I decided to make it into a sally look a like by putting her in the same outfit that she wears in one of the pictures.

5th one: Because Project Blowfish's next manga project is a cyber punk with lots of guns, I have been designing characters with well guns really. I am not too good with guns and the way the hand holds the gun (this pic will have a large gun, the gun type has not been decided but you can tell that I have a problem with the hands) any help is greatly appreciated. She remids me of Rei Ayanami.

Well thats the maximum attatchments but there is one more, I will put it up following this one.

Tell me what you all think and please criticise and compliment ^_^.

Heres that other picture. She looks alot like Chole from Chugsworth academy, I diddnt mean for that to happen, so I will ask the creator of chole if it is OK to use her as a character in one of our manga's, just in case. What do you guys think?

Oh and in answer to the question "How old are we all?" I am 17 I will be 18 on the 29th of May ^_^. I am going to Kent for the weekend of my Birthday to get drunk and use the showers at the hotel (wow a shower I only ever have baths, havnt got a shower) lol.

Hey all. Nice Rem, the last 3 are done extremely well. The frist one though, it seems as though his neck is a bit to long. The rest are good though. And correct me if I'm wrong but the second picture, with the guy holding the book, is the hand thats holding the book backwards?
Hmmm and for some reason, your pictures seem to remind me of Inu Yasha characters, but maybe thats because I just finished watching it. It really gets me in the mood to draw. And since I'm at kind of a fork in the road, I just don't know, later.

Thats cute CP, he looks very frustrated ^_^. And the hand on the guy with the book, well its the right way round not backwards but the pose of the hand is way wrong, but I am not very good with that lol. Inu Yasha, hmmmm havnt seen that yet, will do ^_^. Seems like the sitting girl is very popular.

hi Rem, i like your drawings youre getting better by the minute.

i have an advice to you, ive noticed you tend to draw you characters from a front view, try to vary that a little, practice with different angles and poses, like the guy with the book, imagine how would it be like if you had drawn him laying in the floor reading his book, or maybe sitting with his legs crossed and at a elevated angle.

this would certainly bring a lot more life to your pics, im telling you this because i have the same problem, im trying to work on it too.

i can tell you will be on of the heavyweights, keep practicing Rem, good luck!

eh, i was gonna post this earlier but then something came up and oh well, i dont have time to finish it, i was doing a fanart of your girl with guns cause i liked her a lot, anyway, heres the incomplete sketch maybe ill finish it later, this pose is a lil more dinamic to illustrate my point, well hope you like it

PS. both our pistols suck we have to pay more attention to them later XDD

 

wow, I got a fanart!!!!! first one ever. Yay ^_^. I hope that character design makes it into the final characters for the manga that would be great, then I will make sure your picture is included on a front cover or as a filler or something ^_^. Its great. Thanks for the advice I shall experiment with mad pose, and increase my mad skilzz ^_^

Took me about an hour to sketch out and pencil shade.
The arms might be thin, but if i'd draw them thicker, they would look off in my drawing. :sad:

 

But you also tend to draw your characters from the same view every time
Nothing bad though, just felt like saying that...
