I agree with Poom Poom, Hey does anyone know what cyberpunk is? and what the hell is Echhi?. I was up late one night and decided to sketch and I sketched what I think is cyberpunk. The first one is a little risckey but the second one I am pleased with except for the elf I seem to have a problem drawing the ferther eye on a 3 quater veiw. Please critisise and comment any way I can improve??

rem: echii is fanservice (genre). it's basically anime or art that shows lots of panties, clevage etc. They usually have no plot, but that's not why ppl watch them. :catgirl: . (think love hina, agent akika, mahoro etc.)
it's pretty much a step down from hentai.
cyberpunk is kinda hard to explain... think action and guns etc. Akira is probably the most famous cyberpunk anime. i guess the name pretty much says it all. They've usually got rather alot of angst.

they're good pics, the main prob with the 1st is that the hands seem a bit like jelly. but i guess they were kind of small. i think you should try drawing larger images, that way you get less weight to the pencil lines, and more space, which looks nice. an inking would look nice too, especially in defining the parts of the clothing that you can see the body shape constsruction lines through. ( i know this is only a sketch, but removing them can really add to the pic and remove some of the clutter.)

the 2nd pics are really cool. >_< i see what you mean about the eys in 3/4 view though. just try to flatten the eye along the minor axis, this will elongate it and give the feeling of a curved surface and perspective. have a look at the eyes that chej draws to see what i mean.
the nose in the top pic is a little bent to the left, and the bottom of the nose is angled up a bit too much maybe.
with the style you chose, i think maybe a rounded chin would look more succinct with the rest of the pic.

i've sort of pickes these apart, but i think they're good. especially the 2nd two...

 

^_^ Thanks for the tips, I was trying to get the nose for the second one the way superfly does it, I dont know why but I think it looks really good. :shy: im a fan of superfly :sweat2: . Im currently working on another cyberpunkish picture of a balistics expert sort of uses free running and the kick on his gun to do really cool spinny things in the air :glazed: . Do you think that my guy in the second picture would fit the job?. Gahh hate using hb pencil, lines are too thick and the scanner has problems with it, I usually use an F grade pencil. (sorry cant post the pic yet, my scanner is too sensitive and is having trouble picking up the pencil lines, I'll ink it then scan it. ^_^

 

Rem, the second pic looks really good, careful with the positioning of the face elements, for example, the first pic has the ear misplaced.

More Superfly madness...
Sketch for a new character in my story, her name is Jadey Lei, a half-elf shapeshifting druid (refer to NWN: Hordes of the Underdark) who joins Kunu Law in his search for Mystical Summons. (I made her after a friend, her name is Jade Lee, all character stats are based on her character in Neverwinter Nights).
She's the happy-go-lucky girl of the story, and while she's actually ment to keep foes at a safe distance with her shapeshift abilities so Kunu can acquire enough time for a summoning, she still can delay him when she'll turn in a big dragon. She's just clumsy with such a big tail, that's all...

Uh yes, just a sketch now, might add more things like a sickle.. Can't have a druid without a sickle, now can I...

Well secundary lead characters are always more interesting than the LEAD character aie? Ah well, I've gotten lots of Armane fanarts in the past (even an yaoi fanart of Armane and Kunu Law... scary...)
But yeah, Quil is a fun character to work with, will be even better when I bring up the new pages (which, sadly enough, DON'T start with Quil).
But he'll show up in the same way and situation as he did on the old pages...

Hiya, weirdness with schoolgirls and doodles at about 5am in the morning, sometimes I go into insomniac mode and decide to doodle. The end result is a harsh reminder of why we should never do that v_v :sweat2: . The first one is ok I think, although there is something wrong with the positioning of the head and the mouth I think. The second one is a cyberpunk idea, Project Blowfish's next manga may be a cyberpunk one. ^_^. Please comment and critisise because I need all the help I can get. I hate ears and hands!!!.

Great pic child of sin ^_^, thanks for the comments ^_^. I love elfs too, the same thing as superfly, I was taken by the elf race once I played ocarina of time too. I also love the elf race in Dungeons and dragons, I so wanted to be an elf, but my stats werent good enougth to be an elf, so Im a theif v_v oh well maybe next time ^_^. Well Im off to scan the manga which you will be able to see very soon ^_^.
