Debate So how young is your girlfriend?... WHAT?!?

    and erm.. calling the police never entered your mind?

    if this girls parents are taking pictures of her in bed with someone over twice her age.... it is doubtful they have her best interests at heart.

    zanza.. how many guy's have you dated, to come up with this "i want an older, more mature guy" attitude?

    it's one that every teenage girl seems to stick with until they themselves grow up, and realise it doesn't matter.

    guys and gals ages

    i am 15-nearly 16......(a girl).
    i think that 5 years between the people is reasonable.........
    i wouldn't go out with a lad thats over 21
    (i would be too chicken -thats my opinion)
    sure if you were much older than your gf/bf......
    you would have nothing in common..........

    in fairness, nobody over the age of 18 should touch anybody under the age of 16.

    None :) And that's why I said I am 19, so I am still clueless. I am just not interested in younger guys or at the same age guys.

    which at least you know what seems to interest you. when i was in high school, i had known most of the guys there most of my life, and knew i wanted none them in it permanantly. i swore i woulsn't start dating until college. almost made it too. was 17. the bf was 19. (i think he's 2 years older...) and so for 6 months i was called jail bait by his brother...who was just a big flaming butt.
    i also knew i wanted an older boyfriend as well, look at most people younger than yourself once; are they pretty dumb for the most part? yup? there you go...

    Bloodberry, you were 17 and he was 19 right, I see nothing wrong in that, it's not like you guys were have sex or anything right. Just boyfriend and girlfriend that seems okay.

    i think its ok to date 2 ages younger and whatever age over. BUT THATS ALL ON THE PERSON!!!!!( don't get mad ). but im 18yrs :catgirl:

    I could set a really bad example, that someone in their teens and early 20s should NOT follow -- My parents are 11 years apart! ;P

    mine are as well. I just think, if you find the right person for you, what can you do about it? of course my Mother married when she was 20, my Dad when he was 31. really 11 years older later on in life means nothing.

    oh and to answer, my fiancé is 3 months younger than I but very mature. I was quite surprised when we first started going out.

    I'm 18, my boyfriend is 22 and i've never had a problem with people giving us 'the look' (the "aren't you a little young?" look)

    Although i think that is due to my atitude. i look like i'm about 17, but my personality makes up for that. i don't act 17^^ My boyfriend's buddies used to tease him about 'robbing the cradle' and such when we first started dating.

    As long as no legal boundaries are being crossed, i feel any age (over consent) is fine.

    if you have a brain, then you should know how to use it... so if your old enough to be dating then your old enough to choose who, no matter age.
