I'd play, but I don't have the book...so I'd be too far behind on everything. So, I guess it means I'm out. You guys have fun, though...should be an interesting watch.

Heads up - I think I've chosen my feats, so I'm just about there. I think I'll take Rugged (+1 Fortitude, +2 Survival checks) and Attuned (+2 to Enhance Ability and Heal Self) or Mettle (+2 to Battlemind and Force Defense). Most likely Attuned.

So far, I've rolled my stats, chosen which skills I want to train in, and figured out feats. I guess after that it's mostly background, description, and buying gear. And gear is so expensive! Jeesh, just having a field kit and a quarterstaff is tough on a Force Adept's budget.

But my character is definitely taking a rugged, backwater-world kind of background. Cause, well, you know, that rigid Jedi hierarchy isn't that appealing to me.

Edit: Should we post our final character stats and stuff here in this thread, or should we email them to you?

Well, lessee, I'm 16, from a backwater world, trained in Force-wielding (raised in the secrets of a shamanic religion), and Bad. I'm grown-up enough to take care of myself for long periods in the wilderness, as well as any Scout or other such person. And now I've ended up off-world because of some circumstance that I haven't figured out yet.

So here's what I want (and can almost afford on a 1500 credit budget, though Adepts can get as high as 2000): Field Kit (1000), All-Temperature Cloak (100), Quarterstaff (60), Medical Kit (25), Bow (300) and 20 arrows (?). If I have to do without something, I guess the bow would go first.

field kits are a gimme...yeah, everything looks fine...
oh, and we created an item too that covers recovering vitality...we call em stim packs...you can only carry 8 on your pesron at a time...need to talk to chris about how they work again...lol cause med packs are to the wound points...

I start with my maximum 2000 credits? Whoa, cool! With that budget I can carry a more decent first-aid kit. How much do your stimpacks cost? Is there a fatiguing 'letdown' afterwards?

Slightly-off-topic Edit: In the last Star Wars game I played, I deliberately started off well under budget, with (to my mind) next to nothing because I was a Corellian street kid. About the most expensive thing I allowed myself was a Security kit because of my small business of breaking and entering, intelligence gathering, etc.

Ok, I managed to scrounge up a copy last night...but I haven't looked to heavily into it yet.

I guess that means I'm back in...I'll probably roll up a Fringer tonight, and send along details later...

Alright! Got my game stats PM'ed in. Now for the time-consuming part, like deciding my name, the details of my background, where I came from, and what I look like.

Fringer, eh? That'll be good. If we're both Outer Rim-type people, or at least kind of on the edge of Galactic society, it gives us more of a chance to form a group and have a reason to travel together.

    O.O Question, Berry!

What time period were we playing in again? I don't think you quite confirmed the pre-Episode IV entirely yet...

In any case, what are the major things we should know about the current state of the galaxy? (Major Military/Gov't powers, Major Events, and so on...)

Is it too late to join this? I could possibly make a character up pretty quickly. do you have any gaps that need filling for class types?

naah, YK, I don't think i'll break out another Visault. 8-]

Yes, UK, I would definitely recommend sticking with races published in the core rules.

Visalti - where did I come up with that wierd name, anyway?

And, yeah, there's probably plenty of room. Not much has happened yet, and we only have the three volunteers that I know of.

well, considering that I designed that race with George's help specifically for that campaign, I think I'll agree...
Maybe I should be a Coinite soldier...

well, i was kinda hoping someone would be foolish enough to be a padawan..hehe see...this fits...i can work with it and add alot of humor to it...it's just...you'd need patience with it...lol cause the master lol you'll see...
[edit]kinda where ep 2 is...the empire isn't in control and the jedi haven't been beaten out of existance...not really a huge imperial presence...lol[/edit]
just for a little info on the story that you'll all start with.

[edit2]as for story, you've all been approached by a droid with an offer from a hutt...for simplicities sake, you all accepted...lol[/edit2]

    i was wondering if anyone looked up the pnume or not? hehe cause well...the creatures don't need to be from the core books..but would make it easier...this works cause we already have rules made out for the species...heh...nothing like true unaware role playing...not to be mean...*^-^*;;;;
