it was implied and given the gung-ho "yay america" reaction of some people on this forum, they need to be told outright they don't live in paradise

granted there are also some gung-ho anti american people too.. I wonder who they could be :glazed:

Probably the people who either are so anti-Bush they don't want him to be at war in Iraq even if it is the right thing or they don't have all the facts and/or don't want all the facts since they're so dead set in their opinion.

What I *really* want to know is... who was paying Hans Blix (sp?) because Iraq specifically requested that he looked around, and that seems really suspicious. It also seemed weird that he left out some of the weapons that Iraq had in his report to the U.N. ¬¬; Yeah, real observant guy that was working there...

 

I have a few things to say about the war and the song.

The song is funny, becuase it's actually making fun of how much of a moron Bush is. A village in Texas is missing its idiot. Seriously. Never have I seen a ruler so moronic he makes up his own words.

The war is pointless.

 

Not if it saves the lives and ensures the futures of tons of Iraqis.

 

No, it's not. If we left Saddam alone, he would just be making more and more weapons so some day down the road when he was strong enough, he would attack the U.S. and it would be far more fatal than the attack on the Twin Towers. If we stayed away from him, he would become the next Adolf Hitler.

And don't think that if we left him alone that he'd leave us alone. He hates Americans. He wants us all dead. He is a serious threat who needs to be taken care of now before he causes a lot of destruction. Already, he's killed over 2 million people. He shouldn't be allowed to kill anymore.

This war is not pointless.

 

I'm pro-war these days. It's not pointless, and innocent people were being killed by Saddam long before ANY war started. But I'm not so sure about what'll hapen when the war is won, (which I really think it will be).
I say we should cheer on the troops, their really risking their lives to protect all of us and free the Iraqi people after all! Go Britian! Go America!

 

FFS.. I come back to this thread years later and realize I totally farked something up. I meant to post something some bitter man wrote about how the whole world is farked, but I managed to post the lyrics to a .hack /sign sogn instead. wtf.
