    Last book...

i've been reading half the book of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. For some reason I got bored of it and i haven't continued.

    [edit]
Perhaps because i've been watching Discovery and National Geographic for a lot of time and i find his descriptions of the undersea world quite dull compared to the real thing. I know, this was written in the 1800's, still...

Well, at least I can say that the underwater world's greatness is beyond the limits of our imagination ^_^

Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's "Still Life with Crows" was the last one I finished. Their books have almost always been excellent, and this one was no exception.

Currently reading Herodotus, "The Histories", for Classics. All I read now is stuff for class. :p Though I can say that for Classics buffs, the Oresteia is great -- I preferred it to the Iliad and the Odyssey (though those weren't bad either).

Oresteia also has possibly the best line ever uttered by a mythological character:

    "Bring me the man-killing axe!"

The Twelfth Physician By: Willa Gibbs

    This book is great.

It's about this Doc during the french revolution before Nepoleon comes to power.

Everyone should read it. It's the first time I ever read anything about the french revolution and docters, these two topics.

Hmm, lets see, a story which has survived for many centuries and influenced our culture and other stories including Lord of the Rings... yes, Beowulf is good. ;P

Anyway. Last book I read was The Forever War.

    Bloody triumph.:)

I started reading the Stir Of Echoes book. Only onto the third chapter, but it's pretty good so far. Started it shortly after I finished Dhampir which was also very good, definitely one of my favorite books now.

The Emperor of Ice Cream by Brian Moore.

It has nothing to do with ice cream but it's really good. Its about a seventeen year old boy living in Ireland during the second world war.
