Anime What is the most VIOLENT Anime that you have seen?

    I haven't seen all that many animes lately, but the few I have seen that were the most violent would include: Wolf's Rain, Dragon Ball Z/GT, and Yu Yu Hakusho can be quite brutal sometimes.

    Is it just me or does the story to Wrath of the Ninja really REALLY close to that of the Onimusha games on the ps2?

    Mm, I love blood. Nothing I've seen (anime-wise) struck me as too violent. Not violent enough is more like it...

    My vote goes for Berserk..and Helssing
    Berserk...is just uniek...damn:cool:

    I honestly don't think any anime is brutal. If you compare it to the world we live in it is quite tame.

    What's more fun then watching a vampire being sucked into space because of an open hatch within a satelite, seeing him getting all bulgy and about to pop into pieces? :p

    It was pretty gorey.. Hmm other violent anime..
    Gunnm had it's share of violence, but wasn't all THAT big.

    X was pretty violent [especially if you include the movie...] but I'm gonna have to go with One Piece.

    Sure, no one ever dies, but it's one hell of a violent show. And I love it. ^__^

    [Of course, if we were talking manga, that's Blade of the Immortal hands down... *goes off in search of similar manga thread...*]

    Evangelion and the occasional Fullmetal Alchemist episode are pretty bad (Kimbly getting a hand through his chest was pretty f***ing awesome!).

    Ironically, the two most violent (probably) anime I recall are the two I disliked the most, and those are Akira and Beserk. Just seemed really boring to me, like all that was to the anime was gore, but eh...

    Hellsing and Requiem From The Darkness are pretty gorey too, but really interesting.
