    that's galaga....*^-^* cause you can start shooting with the 2 ships eventually...and there is just an endless wave of the little aliens coming at you*^-^*(i love this game btw)

    no one will believe this (and oh well :p ) but Galaga was the first thing that popped into my mind. I didn't say it though for some reason..

    Oh yeah, so someone else would have to post the next riddle :D

    Maybe a little vague, but the widespread nature of this game may make up for that...it's another Classic I'd see being demoed in so many computer stores, in the early nineties...

    Yesiree....the game you could play with in standard 2D, or with the 3D Moving pieces. When you took another piece, you got to see an amusing battle scene. There have been many offshoots of this game since then featuring a variety of themes, but the original is still with the most class.

    And yes, the Rooks (Castles), do eat the Queens... :)
