    I'm quite aware that Ranma and Akane like each other
    (Very, very, VERY deep down)
    But does anyone think that someone else should get Ranma?

    I do think ranma and akane are a good couple, but i do think if they end up together it will be a hard life. Could you imagine....Shampoo and ranma together!? Ranma does not like cats too much, does he.?

    I'm the only one to vote for Akane so far, but I think it's almost necessary. If it was anybody else, Ranma wouldn't be as funny otherwise. :D Besides, I'd think they'd have cute kids. Can ya imagine? Little Ranmas and Akane's yelling "Kawaikunai" weilding big mallets? I can...it's hilarious.

    Why Ukyo:confused:
    I think Ranma needs to get over his fear of cats and go with Shampoo. Akane would be my second choice if he could really never get over his fear of cats.

    oh, come on. akane. its a given. they love each other, and thats it. live with it. they ARE the couple. ukyou is just so...annoying. (sorry all!)

    Akane is the true one for him in my oppion, Imean he's always getting mad when she tries to go out with other people and he's always around her.

    i think that akane is....yes. its the mood. its how much they act toward each other in that discontentment-kinda mood...they love each other.

    Yeah, theirs plenty of "not as important to the plot" girls who like Ranma, but I could only think of Kodachi at the time.

    someone please explain to me why ukyo gets ranma. out of curiosity. and why not akane.
    (and i know what you're gunna say! about the promise! adn ill counter by saying he was a kid and didnt know he was a girl! and you'll say, so what, its a promise!) (i answered my own question, didnt i?)

    Also, Shampoo seems to be rather dependent on Ranma- that really doesn't seem to fit his personality much... but then I also tend to think Nabiki would be good for him. :p

    That's been proving sort of true. In one chapter of the manga, Nabiki is actually starting to getting into this one dude. But, in the end, all Nabiki cared about is the challenge. So, Nabiki/Ranma CAN be a couple...can you imagine how much of a challenge Ranma must be!?

    Personally, I think Ranma needs a calming influence. Or at least someone who can curb him a bit. I probably just must have read too much fanfiction.
