    I agree, Izzy. Akane and Ranma like to add sticks to the fire, and they're dead on against each other about everything. But even so, I still think they work out more than the other matches!

    I still think Ukyo should get Ranma

    Isn't there some girl that shows up that just LUVS Ryouga??

    That girl would be Akari. Unryuu Akari and her sumo-pig Katsunishiki. She's swine obsessive, meaning she's got a very high fixation of piggies. She knows also, of P-Chan's curse, but NOT where P-Chan sleeps. I have no idea if she made an appearance in the anime, but she's most definitely in the manga.

    She's Ryoga's "fiance" because of a challenge that whoever defeats her pig becomes and is worthy of the betrothment to Akari.

    Strange though, how Ryoga does exactly what Kuno does and gets away with it totally, and he STILL harasses Ranma about stringing along Akane.

    That in itself is one of the reasons I don't have much like for Ryoga. He's cool and all, but hypocrisy in him is rampant. Okay, it's rampant in a lot of Ranma characters...but he gets away with most EVERYTHING. Even if Ranma gives him just desserts in the end, Ryoga is pretty much capable of shrugging off anything you can throw at him.

    Hmm, thought I might as well bring life into Ranma's forum again...he deserves it. But, in accordance to your post, I don't think it's VERY deep down at all. I mean, it's only DEEP if others are present. Take...let's see..."Tendo Family Christmas Scramble" for example. It's the second OVA, I believe. Akane and Ranma had about 5-8 minutes of "together time" and only about 2 of those was Akane beating Ranma up. The other 5 was of Ranma protecting Akane and even has a point at which he puts his arm around her. THEN there's the Ryugenzawa thing....which...well, the WHOLE EPISODE is proof that as long as it's them and no one they would know in Nerima...then they can get along and they can move forward. It's everyone's meddling that gets them to bite and pull and snarl and such.

    The movies also show a great deal of that. In the first one, Ranma again threatens to kill whoever tries to lay a finger on her fiancee (though...she lets her mouth run off a bit more...) and the second one...welll....that's almost as bad as Ryugenzawa at the end there...

    hehe this is the thing I love about anime. It keeps ya guessing as to who goes with who in most of them. I would give my opinion on this, but that could technically just be a biased opinion. Just for an example, I am extremely anti-shampoo, so I dont think her and ranma would hit it off. {shrugs} I think its more of a personal prefrence then anything.

    My reason 4 thinking Ukyo is better than Akane is that Ukyo has a far better character. Her spatula is cool too. She also treats Ranma far better. Akane is a *cough* spoilt brat *cough* :cool:
    And everything about Akane drives me to insanity, especially her voice! :mad: :anger2:

    you see, thats a good point.
    she isnt really a brat, not in my eyes, however.
    her voice is kinda annoying too.
    but, im fickle when it comes to the whole 'they-love-each-other-despite-the-controveries-they-have'.
    *shrugs* i think they're cute. but thats just me.

    I hate to say it, Akane would be the best for Ranma. I mean they are always together no matter what. They say they hate each other, then why do they do things together? It would be nice if Ukyo was the one for Ranma because she seems like a nice girl. But if she's gonna dress like a guy, then she's just saying, I'm into girls. Now shampoo, she's just annoying. She'd so anything for ranma, ANYTHING. she's too extreme for ranma. and finally there is ryoga...hehe why ryoga. Ranma is also a girl and there are many sites that wants ryoga and ranma together. Oh please. even though ranma is half girl, he/she has a mind of a boy. So If Ryoga is having some funky thought it's not going to happen. so akane would be the best choice

    Yo. I'm new here. This is no contest. Ranma and Akane will end up with each other. Why even ask. They are perfect. No one else will do. Yes they do fight, but they really love each other. Consider the question of "Who will Ranma end up with?" answered.
