Recreation Your Username

Ok, like the avatar thread, everyone must have a reason why they chose their username. So here's some things i would like to know. Is this your first username? If not, name your other ones in order. So we can see evolution. Did you pick your username from an anime? How did you come up with your username?

 

I started with this user name and im plannin on sticken with it for a while so non of you worry (My ego).

The reason for my username is because of Soulcaliber i loved the character Nightmare because he was such a Bad***. But another reason that i have Nightmare is because i get called that a Lot by friends,and EX's. Why cause if you ever had a nightmare that was scary but you liked it then thats kinda like me hahaha.

 

My username is because Kaiyon is the first character I created. That's why he's one of the main characters in Sakeido RPG. He's cool and a very good source of comic relief. And it sounds cool.
I really hope people are pronouncing it right.

I'm a total gamer on the Xbox so naturally I've gone through several gamertags. The first one I used was Jango because I was a big Jango Fett fan and one of the military translations for my initials is Jango Delta. After a bit of teasing from friends and people I played against I changed my gamertag to the name of one of my favorite kinds of aliens "Elite". I used that gamertag for a long time and even in a halo tournament which my team got slaughtered in ...I swear, some of the original Halo players must have had no lives anyway, after a while I tried to come up with a name that was more symbolic of me and of my christianity. I remembered a cool name I heard from an old computer game called Starcraft and looked it up in the dictionary. The name "Zealot" as it turns out stands for "devoted warrior". I realised that the name was perfect for me considering I'm a devoted christian and I fight a lot in videogames, Soul Calibur included. The best part however, is that my gamertag, as simple as it is, I've never seen anyone else use before. So now I use it for all my games and even my screen name.

It's not from any anime I've seen. If there's an anime out there that uses it, I'd be horrendously surprized. There is a reason I chose this name, and honestly, I'd rather not say what that reason is here.

Pronunciation has always been a fun thing with this name, since it seems to change from person to person. Officially, it's supposed to be pronounced "pah-CEE-zhoom", where the C is very aspirated, with an almost "h" sound after it.

 

Oh. o.o I always said it "Ba-fij-mm" like it looks like it would be pronounced.

Anyway, no, Shinryu isn't my first screen name, I used to change fairly often. I don't remember most of the reasons I chose those old ones, but here they are now, in case some of you have heard of me before BJP.

Honestly, I don't even remember why I started using the name Shinryu. I just did, and now it's as natural to me as my own name. I wouldn't consider for a moment changing it. (And, truthfully, BJP was the first place I ever used the name "Shinryu." Over time, as I got to love this place so much, I just got used to it.)

No, one thing you can be sure of, is that I will always, and forever be Shinryu. That will likely never change.

 

Kikyoulvr4eva has been the user name I've used for most of my anime forums. Why I chose it? I have no clue. Most of you could tell that Kikyou is my favorite character from the manga/anime Inuyasha.

I don't think I have any intention to change my screen name though. Maybe because I'm not creative enough...^_^;

 

This is my only one that I have had on boards.jp if that is what you mean.. Just to let you see my old screen name for an other site was Krazybear. lol

You can probably guess where my name is from ( InuYasha ). My name is not what Kagome and InuYasha's love child would be either. It is part of my first name Kaleob ( Ka) then just added the Yasha. Now that I look how I came up with it..I find it pretty stupid!

 

TrkJac was just one of the names that AIM popped out when it said the name I wanted wasn't available. This was about 4 years ago, so I've had it, literally, forever. I've just used it ever since and it's my name everywhere.

The story of my username is a long and bitter one; a story that will surely shatter the souls of many of the lesser folk here.

I first came about my username while in Scotland. I was in a fight with a rather nasty chap, and, to get to the point, he stabbed me. I fell to the ground, mortally wounded. I entered what I can only describe as a deep sleep.

I awoke several hours later in a daze. However, my friends and my lover were all shocked to see me. It was as if they had seen a ghost. I wondered what was wrong, but they would not give me a straight answer. Before long I was forced to leave; they grew extremely hostile towards me for reasons I could not, at that point, divine.

Time passed, and while in Scotland I met a woman. She was utterly gorgeous, and it wasn't long before we hooked up. It was pretty peaceful. We spent our days living a simple life, full of laughter and joy. One day, just as we were about to make love, a man on a horse leapt over us. I was furious; how dare he! I challenged him to explain himself, but it turned out he had been looking for me. He said I had a role to fulfill on this earth. In time, I came to understand. I was special; I was born with a gift few had and fewer understood.

He taught me how to fight; how not to fear; how death was just a petty concern for folk of lesser matter. At first I was unnerved, but quickly learned how wonderful it was. All the while, I loved my girlfriend with an honest and pure heart.

I had learned what I was with Rameriz. I was Nephilim. And in time, when the last Nephilim stood, he would win The Prize.

But it could not last forever. While on a trip, the brute from the fight I mentioned earlier slew my mentor, and had his way with my woman. I mourned Rameriz, but the rape of my love was unknown at the time. I was grateful that she, at least, was alive.

But even love could not last. She grew old and withered, and I, somehow, stayed youthful. I held her in my arms as she died. Down through the centuries I lived many secret lives, my heart a cold and bitter husk. I lit a candle each year on my lovers birthday in memory.

Finally, one day, The Gathering came, and all the Nephilim fought. It was a truly epic clash. Finally it was down to me and my foe. The one who took my friends. Took my mentor. Soiled my lover.

Revenge would be mine.

We fought for hours, and though it was my greatest challenge, I emerged victorious. I underwent The Quickening, and all the powers of all the Nephilim before me entered my body. I knew everything. I was everything.

I was Nephilim_X.






...Oh wait. That was the Highlander. Sorry. Yeah, I saw the Nephilim in Wing Commander Prophecy, thought they were cool, and added an X at the end because everything is cooler with an X in it somewhere. Later on I found out about the biblical origins of the Nephilim.

My username's story is not so long. It's the first one that I ever used in a internet community. Boards.jp was the first one, then KAF and some others.

In total I have thres usernames, all of them active:

1. Jedimdo
2. FastEthernet
3. *******

 

At Boards.jp it went from Shenlong_nk to Shenlong to Shen. Also use Shenzo as my username at other sites. Once referred as Shenny by someone as well. The "Shen" and it's alternatives has been my online alias for 5 to 6 years without change. 神 - Chinese for Shen is the latest to be added to my list.

When i first joined the site i was a massive fan of the Legecy of Kain games, and always thought that Kain was my favorite character. So i did what every most fans do, i nicked it for myself.

 

actually this was the first place where i used this username in spite of using it as a nickname for my friends.... it's a name of a simple bird and it was due to an error of interpretation in my real name. so i sticked with that name as a nick name. simple isn't it????? lol

 

I knew I wanted to use that doujin pic for my sig, but wasn't sure what name. I wanted something Japanese, then by accident found Rokuemon in a list of Japanese boys names. I thought it was a cool name, and also its got 4 Kanji which is unusual.

It can be spelled 六右衛門 or 録右衛門
its nothing to do with Pokémon, the readings are 'six right defence gate(s)' and 'record right defence gate'

whatever that means...

Well, I started with Teddybear, later Teddybrat, then Teddy and ended up with Teddz.
Funny how friends call me that in real life too.

I remember when I first started at the boards, my user name was "Fushigi Yugi" because I did not know what to put so I just put my favortie anime/manga.
Later I changed it to "Iya."
I'm not sure why. I just wanted to change Fushigi Yugi so I just put some letters together. It's nice and short. I guess that's why I liked it.

 

When I started the boards, must of you knew me as SakataKentaro. I used that name since i liked the character, and there quite some things i could relate in him.

Then, i decided to use a name that doesn't stick with just one anime. So i chose Seishin. This was the name of one of my drawing that i used to make when i was younger. I thought it would go well, and it's easier to pronounce. So for now (and maybe forever), i will stay with this username!
