Recreation Chosen weapon of choice?

I know there is a thread called what is your weapon... but this is different. What weapon would you choose to fight with???

I am saying Tonfas... cus they rule baby!!!!

 

i would choose the katana since i already practice kenjutsu with one. Its an exceletn weapon adn i lvoe it very much. Also if i had another choice i would choose the bow and arrows. I have natural ability for it so i would definately choose that^_^

 

I would choose a sword- like a samurai or a katana... I would NEVER use a stick... Or bows and arrows- I prefer that men use arrows... Not women... I'll slash away my foes with a sword!

 

there's nothing better than an accurate, silenced pistol. and of course, a nice sniper rifle, even better if it has a night vision scope

 

i would have to have the bow and arrows. they have to be the most best of all wepons (in my opinion) in a flash you can just strike out an arrow and away it goes! you can use it from far away so the peoples you are trying to hunt down cant see ya cause you just might be in a forest

Arg! i can't decide! i have favorite wepons: broad sword, bow and arrows, throwing knives, and spear.
i love all of these but i suppose my first choice would be the broad sword. cuz i love swords, any kind of sword really.

 

I chose Short swords....but my prefered weapons are throwing knifes...and my second choice are Kodachis.....so yah...

Bokken, a wooden sword/katana. I have done some training with one and I find it's really effective. You can't cut your opponents head off but you can breack his neck with it. Bokken is heavier than katana, but heaviness makes strikes much more effective. Miyamoto Musashi used only a single bokken in battle against Yoshikawa Seijuro and he won with a single strike.

 

If you're good with a staff, no one will ever touch you with a melee weapon. Ever.

my prefered weapon is a katana and wakizashi although ive trained in the art of using a kodachi...im also a staff artist....

 

Vash's gun is rather interesting in that it fires with the barrel and firing chamber lowered...as in a gun thats small and normal...an Austrian Glock...perhaps...any of Bond's guns because he needs small pistols...

 

The strangest thing about Vash's revolver, is that the hammer strikes on the top of the chambers... and the bullet comes out on the bottom...

But... for a small gun... PPK or Glock 26 or 27... there about the same.

Alternatively, if you mean weapons that are available now, and arent things like a tank () then I guess my melee weapon would be a katana and my ranged weapon would be a gun of some sort. I'll edit this post later for information on the gun.

I don't like swords cuz they're too popular, but I do like sniper rifles! I did air riflery in high school, and I always play the Silent Scope games at arcades. (But I can be trigger-happy too, with games like Point Blank or House of the Dead.)

But if I had to use a close combat weapon, I'd pick a kind of staff with one end slightly sharpened so it's kinda like a spear. Yeah, Ark knows! I've never trained with a staff or spear before, but it would be pretty fun.

 

Like Ark Said Someone who is a Master with the Staff will never loose a fight in melee.. And odds in a 2 sword men on 1 staff man fight the guy with the staff will win.

And all those who rather use a gun.. your all cowards!

Hand axes, big battle axes, I love them all.
I have a fondness for chinese swords too.
And of course everyone likes katana, but they're a bit boring these days.

Edit: I agree too that staffs are excellent.
They're always terrible in RPGs and other games, they never do them justice.
Except in Mortal Kombat deadly alliance.
