Rikku and Kazuo hadn't gotten far when they also ran into Sinscales. "We don't have time for this!" Rikku cried in frustration. She rummaged through her bag until she produced a small, egg-shaped object. "Eat frag-grenade!" she yelled, pulling the pin and lobbing the grenade into the crowd of monsters. After a terrific blast, the path ahead of them was momentarily cleared. "Let's get going Kazuo, before they get in our way again." They moved forward, cutting through the winged monsters whenever they appeared. Soon they had reached the hanger where Cid was working on the new airship. "Dad! It's Sin!"
Cid looked up from the propeller he was inspecting to see his daughter running in with that boy Kazuo following closely behind. Cid: Rikku? What's wrong? Slow down and catch your breath, then tell me. Rikku took a deep breath and quickly told Cid what had been happening. When she had finished, Cid had a deep frown on his face. Cid: Just when I had hoped we could live in peace. Well, no use complaining about that now, let's get this show on the road. The ship is almost ready for takeoff, get all the people gathered together and we'll leave by 1300. Rikku nodded and turned to Kazuo. Rikku: C'mon, lets hurry! There isn't much time left!

A huge explosion occured, and when the dust settled there wasn't a single sin scale in their sight. Wakka: Whoa, Lu! That was good, ya?
