Athena looked down at the black paper and said, honestly, "Now don't make fun of me but i see life and i see death in its unending circle. With a death comes new life and with new life comes the death and unending circle that i don't believe anyone can come to understand."

Athena smiled lightly after that, a solemn smile and said, "It makes you think, doesn't it... when we die we become spirits and start an after life and/or go to heaven whatever it is you believe." then she shook her head lightly and said, "I'm sorry, i kinda went all deep on you...so what do you see when u look at the paper?"

 

"I sure hope we don't have to wear our gym clothes today, since all they usually do on the first day is talk about rules," Gaia said as she opened the gym door.

Looking around the gym, Gaia noticed two people by the wall looking at some type of sketch. Turning back to Steven and Manda, she asked, "So where do you want to sit?"

 

Steven looked around and saw a nice open space in the bleacher's, "How about there?" He pointed to the place on the bleachers and began to slowly walk onto the bleachers. Step by step he took it since he was in platforms.

 

Athena smiled softly then looked into Bullets eyes and said, "First the Greek Goddess of love is Aphrodite and the Greek Goddes of Prosperity i think is Demeter but all of that aside, sure you can ask me a question. You obviously just did."

Athena looked up to see some other students walk into the gym. She felt uneasy when she noticed that none of the other students had changed into gym clothes and began mentally kicking herself for always being so overly prepared that trait had given her the outcast status at her old school. She stoppped kicking herself when a guy caught her eye. He was wearing platforms and that was an interesting thing to her. She looked back into Bullet's eyes and said, "So what's the question, my curiosity is peaked since you didn't just outright ask it."

OOC: The post i quoted is in the character profiles i'll call deathfly later and let her know.

 

"Sounds great..."
Manda trudged up the bleacher stairs behind Steven in his platforms and Gaia. As they all sat down Manda started to pull back at a scab at her hand.
"Umm.. what exactly are we doing here?"

 

"English. What about you?" he said. "Maybe we should go to the gym."

 

Athena smiled at Bullet and said, "I'm going to go grab us seats up in the bleachers. I think we're suppose to be meeting up there first."
Athena headed up the bleacher steps and the only seats available were the ones behind the guy with the platforms and his friends. She took a seat and put her schedule down next to her to save Bullet a seat then she turned to the people in front of her (Steven, Gaia, and Manda) and said, "Hi, I'm Athena, I just transferred here. If you guys don't mind could you tell me if I wasn't suppose to change into my gym clothes?"

 

"Hi, I'm Athena, I just transferred here. If you guys don't mind could you tell me if I wasn't suppose to change into my gym clothes?"

Gaia turned around to see a girl with strawberry blond hair.

"Oh, hello. I'm Gaia, and new to the school as well. So, I'm not sure whether we need our gym clothes or not. It is just the first day though, so I hope we don't because mine are a bit small, and I wanted to pick up a bigger pair from the school bookstore. Sorry, I'm not much help there. Don't worry too much about it, I'm sure you won't get in trouble for putting them on early. Anyways, your parents were fond of Greek mythology too?"

 

"Hi, I'm Manda. Do you mind if i call you 'thena- dont really like the whole 'A' sound very much. But I dont have gym clothes, does anyone have an extra pair or something?"

 

Steven smiled at Athena, "Hello, my name is Steven. And welcome to this school. As for gym clothes, I hope we dont have to put them on because given the time and my clothes, I need about five to ten minutes to change completly out of them all and into new clothes." Steven tapped his tattoos and white face, "And hopefully, I dont have to hide all of this stuff. If so, thats like another 5-6 minutes."

Steven moved his hands down to adjust his platforms a little bit on his feet, "So how long have you been in the area?"

 

Athena smiled at them all and said, "Yea my parents know alot about greek mythology my paternal grandfather is from Greece." To Manda she said, "If we need to change into PE clothes I actually brought like five pairs of gym clothes, I have a tendancy to bring my clothes home with me and then forget about 'em and no I don't mind if you call me 'thena."
She turned to Steven and said, "I just moved here at the beginning of last week, my house is actually right across from the school. If you all want you could probably come over anytime I have a car and could drive you all home if you need it unless you live close enough to walk or prefer to walk."

 

Steven smiled, "Thanks, but I have my own car. And either way it'd be very difficult to get someone else to be able to drive up to my front door, with all the security and guards and all the what-not." He had himself a little chuckle. "But my guess, being this the first day, we will have an orientation."

Steven put his hands in pockets sewed into his man-skirt and pulled out a small mirror and a thing of lipstick. He pulled the cap off the lipstick and twisted it up. The lipstick, when still on the stick, was almost black, but when he coated it on his lips, it appeared a dark, icy blue.

Steven finished and put both the mirror and lipstick back in his pocket.

 

"Really? I live in the apartment about 4 streets down, but really its kind of my house since we only rent out the first floor, but its still sort of weird i guess. Thanks for the gym clothes I wont destroy them, trust me. I left my car at home, it's not exactly in terms 'working'."
Manda turned from Athena to Steven. "I wonder what they'll say when they see my legs and arms, but i guess I could do less when I change them next month, henna is a lot easier, I dont know how you can stay with one pattern for the rest of your life. Anyways are any of these your own design they are quite beautiful.

 

Listening to the others talk about their homes, Gaia replied, "My house is pretty secluded. My parents like the quiet, and it gives me the chance to practice more. You should see my gardens. I don't mean to brag, but I love them. I have hammocks made out of ivy, tunnels of roses, and fields of other plants I've worked with. You're all welcome to visit whenever, but I'd rather you didn't show anyone else. They might not understand."

Gaia smiled softly as she remembered some past event. Looking back up, she grinned to Athena, "So are you as wise as your name portrays? You seem to be a person who can see how others work and feel. Names have lots of power. Gaia is the Greek Mother Earth, and I must say that fits my...um...tastes very well."

 

Athena smiled at Gaia and said, "Yes I seem to live up to my name fairly well in the wisdom area as well as in weaving and pottery. It helps that I have my Paternal Grandfather to guide me in so many ways of the culture and greek mythology. I'd love to see your gardens though Gaia."

She looked over at Steven and said, as he put on the icy blue lipstick, "Hey that shade looks so cool, where'd you get it?"

 

"Yes it is a gorgeous shade, all I have are dark shades of red and purple. But you guys are welcome to come anytime you want, I have to admit though my 'house' is sort of weird, we have a gym and a pool and its sort of a well a recreational thing, We have a billiard room as well. Its kind of weird in a way. But If you guys came over at any time I'd love to give you some henna tattoos, if you saw the picture im covered in them from head to toe.

 

Chaney looked up at Seth. "So what's your first class? If it's P.E. then would you like to walk with me? It would kind of be like paying you back for snapping at you." She said with a nervous smirk.

 

Steven took all of the information in, "Your houses all sound very exquisite."

Then Steven answered Manda's question, "These are my own designs yes. And im not sure how but I have lived with these extremly contently for a long time. So I think I can make it. And if one day I get tired of them, I have a foundation that can completly cover them. And the one on my forehead is actually my art and photography signature. If you see,"

Steven took out a picture that was simply beautiful to him. It was a picture of him in the outfit he was in now, but he was sitting at a completly black grand piano in a room lit completly by candles, "I am big into photography and art and when you hold all of my photos or paintings up to the light," Steven held the picture to the light and sudenly all you could see was the symbol on his forhead, "and as you can see, I use this as a watermark symbol to spot originals and fakes of my work."

Next Steven answered Athena's question, "I actually make most of my makeup. I can make most anything, pastels, blues, greens, purples, reds, blacks, whites, you name it."

Now Steven adressed all of hisnew friends, "I will go ahead and say that you are all welcome to come to my house anytime, just keep this card," Steven handed them all a card about the size of a business card, but it had only on it the symbol on his forehead, "and show it to the gaurd at the front gate to get in to the driveway and just follow it to my house, its pretty hard to miss. But we have lots of awsome stuff, mostly all of it is stuff im into, like my makeup room, the room with the piano I showed you, our lap pool because I simply love swimming, and we have lots of other stuff. But mostly they are all my hobbies."

 

Athena took the card and said, "If i can I'll always try to let you know in advance."

Athena smiled at Steve and her new friends then looked over at Bullet wondering why he hadn't joined them yet.

 

Gaia took Steven's card, and, after looking at it, put it in her purse.

"I'd love to stop by. The makeup room sounds fun, and I'd like to see some more of your art. In painting, what medium do you prefer? Personally I like oils, because they seem to leave more room for mistakes, which I make frequently," Gaia laughed.

Out of the corner of her eye, Gaia noticed Athena looking over at the boy she had been with before.
