OOC: I LOVE being leader lol.BTW_ Athena, Can I privite message you about an idea I have for this RPG?


IC: Tai looked up at the group- 'My friends.' He corrected himself. He noticed Athena glancing his way. Thoughts raced through his mind. 'I can't have my friend's dying because of me....' He thought. 'I'll leave once there'll all asleep...'

 

"I could be better but Iv'e had worse. I almost died along with my family. Someone had saved me. I don't know who to this day." Ymigirl began to chough. "I feel like I'll never find out either. If I survive......." With that Yamigirl passed out.

 

By then it had turned dark. The fire died down and everybody started to fall asleep. Mike kept in his hybrid form and stayed close to Yamigirl, who was very weak and cold. Athena took a wet cloth and rubbed it on Yamigirl's forehead. "If Yamigirl is ok in the morning, we need to move. The demons could be closing in on us and they could kill us easily. It's best to split the demons up and pick them off one by one," Mononok whispered to Athena, who was the only other one awake. She looked over at Tai, who was (supposedly) sleeping next to her and remembered the day she met Tai. She remembered how she almost thought he was a demon and how she almost attacked him. But now Mononok knew. Tai was an actual friend. She never had a friend. Even in the forest, she never had time for friends. She couldn't get close to anyone because they all ended up dying. Then Mononok statred to think. What if I am cursed or something, she thought. "That means that everyone here-Athena, Mike, Yamigirl, and Tai-they are all in danger. I can't have them die because of me. I will have to leave tonight and continue my journey on my own..."

OOC: now she doesn't know that Tai is leaving, too.

 

Tai sat with his eyes closed, listening to what was being said next to him. Soon- the fire had died down and he heard the yawns of the people around him, (And Yamigirls' teeth chattering.)

After a few minutes Tai finally stood. 'It's now or never...' Tai thought. He looked at his companions. Yamigirl sat, curled in a ball. Her blanket had fallen off her while she moved in her sleep. He picked it up and tucked it around her. 'No use leaving to save your friends and having one die anyway....' Tai thought.\

And with that- he moved out the door.

 

ooc: hey, the computer hasn't been working so i couldn't come on. The story sounds really good! I guess i acn try writing some things and i hope i don't screw up anyone's idea's...

IC: Tai looked around him after putting the blanket on Yamigirl. He began to leave thinking that everyone was asleep. Mononok had heard him sneaking out though with her fox ears and was curious on were he was going. As Tai walked cautiosly through the woods, watching for any signs of demons, he had no idea that Mononok was following right behind. They had not gone to far from the cave, when they both saw a light burning ahead of them. It was someone's fire, Tai observed as he carefully moved closer to the light. Someone was sitting there by the light, it looked like a girl. She had a stick like item clenched in her hands. Tai decided to see what she was doing out there and Mononok was close by observing what was going on. She did not want her friend to get hurt from this unknown person. When he was just about to speak to her, the girl turned around alarmed clenching her rod in her hands.
"Who are you, and what do you want!?" she yelled at him obviously scared.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to see what your doing and make sure your ok." Tai responded not knowing if she was someone good. "My name is Tai" he continued " and I was walking when I saw you. I wanted to make sure you are ok, since there have been many demons around." he tried to say more but the stranger screamed,
"How do I know your not a demon in disguise!?" she clutched the rod more in her hand."You could be disguised or something!"she looked like she had been crying and was obviously scared now more then ever about something.
"Or, you could even be a wizard or something!"
"I...." Tai tried to continue and try to make her calm down, but before he could stop her, she headed toward him ready to hit him with the rod. Mononok ran down just in time and grabed the rod from her before it hit Tai.
"Give that back!" she screamed,"That's mine!"
"First who are you?" Mononok asked.
"My name is Zelda, and that's all i'm telling you, now give it back!" she screamed at Mononok.

 

ooc: sure pm me with the idea.. i'd love to help.

ic: Athena awoke and realized ppl were missing and she didn't know what to do. She didn't want to leave yamagirl alone. she looked heavenward hoping for help or a sign of what to do.

 

"MONONOK?!" Tai shouted, turning his back on the girl who called herself Zelda. What are you doing here?!" He shouted. "I left to save my friends..." He said softly. His mind's eye returned to one face. He shook it away for the time being. "Now..." He said to Zelda. "I won't hurt you."

 

Athena heard a shout and ran towards it. she saw Tai, Monoke, and someone else and shouted, "What's going on?"
She looked at Tai questionably.

 

Tai froze momentarily. His back was turned and still he knew who's voice the words had come from. His breath caught. "Athena?" He said turning slowly. "What are you doing here?"

 

"We should be asking you the same thing, Tai! What are you doing here?" Mononok glared. "That's none of your business!" Tai yelled. A small fight broke out. Athena, Tai, and Mononok started yelling at each other. Now I can leave from these weirdos, Zelda thought. She slipped out into the darkness and walked away. Mononok's ears pricked up again and she dashed out into the darkness after Zelda. Tai and Athena didn't know what to do. "She'll come back some time," Athena said, and walked back towards the cave to check on Yamigirl and Mike. Tai stood there and waited. "I wonder how long Mononok will be gone?" He turned back to the cave and decided to go back to Athena and the others. "I can't leave Yamigirl, Mike, and Athena all alone. Mononok can handle demons, but Yamigirl is hurt and I don't want Athena and Mike to have to do everything. I'll wait until Athena falls back asleep and I'll go look for Mononok and Zelda."

Mononok crept up behind Zelda. She tapped Zelda on the shoulder. She turned around and screamed...........

 

Tai stepped into the cave. Athena was tending to Yamigirl- who yet again had lost her blanket. Mike napped quitly, having slept throught the whole ordeal. Athena turned around. "Where were you going?" She asked. "I was... leaving." Tai answered. "I didn't want to endanger you..."


A scream broke the silence between the two, tai and athena ran for the mouth of the cave.

 

Tai rushed out of the cave, thinking someone might have been attacked by a demon or something. "What do you want? Stop following me!" Zelda yelled at Mononok. "Listen," Mononok said. "It's dangerous here-to be out in the forest all alone-why don't you stay with us? I see you have great powers and you look like a worthy adversary." Zelda didn't really know what to answer. Mononok didn't know anything about her and yet, here she is, asking Zelda to stay with her. She decided to learn a little more about Mononok first. "Why?" she aksed. "We have a mission. It is to kill the demons that killed our families and forced us out. With your powers, you would be a great help to us........"

 

Athena looked at Tai as they ran and asked, "Where do you think the scream came from? And hey think of it this way, if you leave who will we have to help protect us from the demons and fight with us. Face it, you'll put us in more danger if you leave Tai-chan."

 

Tai stopped running and grabbed Athena's hand. "You're right Athen." He said softly. "I just don't want you getting hurt...." He confessed. "Please forgive me..."

 

Yamigirl woke up and heard all of the screaming. She tried to get up but was still weak and cold. She couldn't speak too. She just layed there quietly as the arguing or yelling continued.

 

Athena looked at Tai and blushed slightly and said, "Of course I forgive you." She smiled at him and said, "I don't want you to get hurt either, face it you would also be in more danger by yourself to." Then she grasped his hand firmly and said, "We gotta help whoever screamed, what if a demon attacked."

 

Now it was Tai's turn to blush. Even as they ran to where the scream had originated from he felt blood rush to his cheeks. Soon the pair came apon Mononok and Zelda.

 

Yamigirl finnaly had the streghnth to talk. "Guys, what's happening? I can't even get up and well yeah I couldn't do that before either but ahh forget it." Yamigirl then stayed quiet after that.

 

Mike calmed Yamigirl down and tried to tell her everything was ok. Tai and Athena finally caught up to Mononok and Zelda. "Is everybody ok?! We heard screaming!" Athena yelled. Zelda shrugged her shoulders. "Hmph..." she said. "It was me. Your weirdo friend scared me." She looked over at Mononok, who was scared that Tai and Athena would yell at her for this. Zelda grabbed her staff, which had been with Mononok the whole time, and walked off into the forest. Mononok turned around to see Tai, who was furious. "Why did you scare her? We thought a demon might be attacking! You can't do that kind of stuff, you know. Next time I might think you're playing around and a demon might really attack!" Mononok's sad eyes turned to rage. "You know what? Fine. I've realized that I've just been bugging you the whole time. I'm sure you and Athena can take care of Mike and Yamigirl yourselves. You certainly don't need me!" She ran off at a very fast speed towards the cave to grab her things. Yamigirl had fallen back alseep and looked 100% better. Mike was next to her, too. "I'm sorry I have to leave you guys," Mononok whispered to them. She put a necklace with a wolf tooth on it by Yamigirl and a warm blanket made out of wolf hides by Mike. With that, she left. "Maybe I can find Zelda. Maybe she won't get sick of me. Maybe it's that I'm just too stubborn. I don't know anymore." Mononok kept walking for about an hour. "Zelda should be around here. I don't think she would have been able to go very far in the dark." About 10 minutes later, Mononok heard a scream. "It that's Tai trying to teach me a freaking lesson or something, I'm gonna smack him." She ran off, following the scream. Mononok then came to a small area in the forest where there wasn't any tall grass or trees. The screams came from Zelda. There was something else there, too. It was a demon. "Zelda!" Mononok yelled. The demon turned around. "Fox Flame!" Mononok began to chant. A small blue fireball lit up in her hand and she hurled it at the demon. The demon reflected it and sent it right back at Mononok. She held up a shield made of wood but the fire broke the shield and she was hit. Zelda screamed again. "Mononok! Help me!" she yelled. Mononok got up and grabbed Zelda's staff, which was on the ground. She grabbed the demon's arm and smashed the staff into it. Nothing seemed to happen. "I thought this thing was magic or something!" Mononok yelled as the demon picked her up and threw her at a tree. Mononok had sprained an ankle. Filled with rage, she got up and, limping, she got into an all out fist fight with the demon. The demon was winning and Mononok had become beat up. What should I do?! This thing is gonna kill me, AND Zelda! she thought. Mononok started to scream. "Help!!!! HELP ME!!!!!" she yelled. And with that, she fainted.........

 

Yamigirl woke up again and found the neckelace right beside her. She put it on and now she had all her strenth back. She heard the screams and ran to see where they were comming from. She saw a Demon and Mononok. Mononok had fainted so Yamigirl did what she could only do because she was half demon. She turned full demon and desroyed the other demon. She then saw Mononok was waking up so she turned back to normal before Mononok could see her at demon form. "Are you okay Mononok? You look a little shooken up. Thanks for your help before."
