RPG Archives Shadow Hazard

Mononook was stunned. She didn't know what to say. "How did you kill it? That thing almost killed me! Where did you get the strength to kill it?!" Mononok then remembered about Zelda and ran over to her. Besides a few straches on her neck where the demon tried to kill her, she was fine. Mononok brought her over to Yamigirl. "Yamigirl, this is Zelda. Zelda this is my friend, Yamigirl." They both shook hands and said hello. "Thank you very much," Zelda said. "Both of you. I could have been killed and you risked your lives for me. That's very kind of you and I will never forget it." Yamigirl and Mononok smiled. "Why did that demon attack you?" Mononok asked. "Was it just a random attack? Or was there some reason?" Yamigirl added. "I'm not sure on how to answer that question. You see.....my family was killed and they were after my whole kingdom....." She didn't get a chance to finish because by that time Tai, Mike, and Athena had found them all.........

OOC: btw sorry about before. when i get caought up in a story i just keep typing. so my last post was a little LONG, lol......

 

"Are you okay?" Athena asked noticing the scratches. Athena sighed and added, "I was hoping we'd find you again. We need to stick together until we least a village at least. By ourselves none of us stands a chance. I'm glad to see you up and around Yamagirl."
Athena looked at Tai then laughed and said, teasingly to Tai, "See what you started, now everyone wants to try it out on their own. Maybe I'll try it next."
She smiled at them and said, "We should head back to camp. we sort of left everything there, well i know I did."
She looked around and noticed everyone else had their stuff.
"I guess i'm the only one that didn't grab her (or his) stuff. No one has to come back with me I'll be there and back like that."

 

"I'll go with you. I don't mind." Yamigirl smiled at Athena. "But it is totally up to you. I feel great now but we have to keep our guards up. and don't worry on how I took care of the Demon." Yamigirl then looked at Athena for a response.

 

"Nah Yamigirl." Tai said. The others need you for protection just in case." Tai said. He turned to Athena. "I'll go with you." He smiled at her.

 

ooc: to mods>I'm going to say sorry but i have to post again today. I won't go over 2, promise.

ic: Athena smiled and said, "Tai makes a good point. Since you obviously could handle a demon by yourself the others need you more than I do."
Then Athena started towards camp Tai soon fell into step with her.

 

Mononok looked over at the two leaving. Hmph, she thought. Fine. Let her take Tai. It's not like I give a care. I only want his help to avenge my family. It's not like I like him or anything.
Zelda looked over at her. "Mononok? Are you ok? You're spacing out." "Huh? Oh, me? Yeah, I'm fine." Yamigirl started to sense something. "Hey, guys. Why is the forest so calm? It seems dead..." The forest seemed to get way darker than before. "If it's a freaking demon again, I'm gonna scream. I'm not in the mood for demons all the time," Mononok growled at herself. "Oh, um. About the demons...." Zelda started. "I sorta know where their "hideout thing" is." "WHAT?! You knew and you never told us!?" Mononok barked. "Chill out! You guys never gave me any time!" Zelda snorted at Mononok. "We should hear what she's got to say, Mononok. You are Princess Zelda right? I've heard about you before," Yamigirl said. "Yes, I'm Princess Zelda. My kingdom was destroyed not too long ago and so was my family. I happened to be out of the kingdom gathering flowers at the time, so I was the only one to survive. Well, me and my one servant, Kohaku. He would go on and on about these demons and how I should leave before he'll tell them where I am. And then one day, he just disappeared. He told me he wasn't going to die and that he'll make sure I'm destroyed. So I don't ruin the "plan" or something." This is strange, Mononok thought. "So, you said you know where the hideout is?" Zelda held up her staff and chanted some words. A bright green light came upon her and up in the clouds was a map of all the kingdoms in the region. "Over there," she pointed to the northern-most kingdom. It seemed to be darker and more cold than the others. "Then we must go. Right now," Mononok said. "Wait. We should wait for Athena, Tai, and Mike," Yamigirl said. "Right. It's better to have a group than to just be one or two people. Trust me. These demons are strong. The only thing that can kill them is the power of love and friendship together," Zelda's staff stopped glowing and the clouds turned back to normal. Tai, Athena, and Mike had gotten Athena's things and were heading back. Finally, we have a clue. A map, Mononok tought............

 

OOC: MIke's with you just so ya know.

 

As it turned out, Zelda really knew a whole lot about the demons. As they were walking they talked about what they would do and how they would approach the demons once they found there hideout. Kohaku was very jealouse of Zelda. He thought that she and her family were evil and was against him all the time. If anything, the only person he ever talked to was Zelda. Kohaku was really nice before and always did alot of fun things together with Zelda and talked about practically everything. One day, he went out somewere into some forest and came back completly different. From that day on, he continued to threatin Zelda about the demons and "the plan." Zelda had began to explain this to her new friends so they would have a better understanding of what was going on. One day, as Zelda was leaving, going out to pick some flowers because there was nothing better to do, Kohaku welled back toward you " They will come and your life will never be the same! You will live in fear in despair!"
"I did not understand who they was or anything else, but right after that he disappeared, kind of like in the air." she continued to explain, but before she could go on, Mononok heard what ever it was that she sensed before coming closer. "We better start walking a little fater, or at least find a town or sometwere safe to stay." she said cautiously. They all began to walk at a more quicker pace.
"So, then what happened?" Mike asked Zelda trying to break the silence.
"Well, I went, and picked the floweres, when I came back, my whole kingdom was destroyed and my family killed. I feared of Kohaku's warning and ran off. That's when I found you all. I'm sorry I screamed and scared everyone, and Tai, I am sorry I tried to hurt you. I was just really scared and thought that you were someone or something bad..."Zelda spoke more to herself then to them with what she last said thinking in deep thought.
"So, what does that staff or yours do?" Yamigirl asked.
"Oh, that...ummm...nothing really...nothing um...important." she was still lost in her thoughts. It was silent again.
Athena said, trying to break the once again silnce"Well, so....um...once we get to this place, what are we going to do? We can't just barbarage in there like we own the place."

 

Yamigirl looked at the whole group now. She only intended to keep her Kingdom a secret and her being Half Demon. She feared that if she told them about her being half demon, they might get scared and think she were evil. Lucky for her, her ears always changed back to human ears rather then puppy ears like they are supposed to be. "Well you have a staff, I have two swords and I think that Athena here is my long lost sister but I'm not shure because we had different fathers after my father was dead." Yamigirl said that and relized that she gave away part of her secret.

 

OOC: can everyone EMAIL me a detailed description of your character please? i have decided to draw everyone since i'm bored, lol. (my email is bunnyrabbit2689@hotmail.com) i dont know when ill have the pictures done. but make sure to tell exacty what the person looks like. ex: tell about the size of the eyes and the color of the hair. ive already started on my character and im working on zelda's a little bit. sorry i can't post anything in the story right now but i gotta get going. i have to take my brother to school now. thanks.

 

Athena looked at Yamagirl and vaguely remembered having a sister but couldn't remember. Besides, she had a strange feeling that Mononok was slightly angry about how she and Tai had gone off together to get her stuff. Should she had taken Yamagirl up on her offer? Athena was so confused and wasn't sure on what she should do and said, "I need to clear my head. I'm going to go on a walk and i'll stay close to camp but i need to be by myself."

Athena got up and walked out of sight but stayed in hearing distance. She sat down on a rock to gather her thoughts.

 

ooc: Mononok, the pictures look really cool so far!!

ic: Athena began to walk away deep in thought. Tai followed to make sure she was ok. Yamigirl looked down mad that she had said that. Mike, Mononok, and Zelda all looked at each other wondering what they should do. They didn't want another fight to break out because they had had enough for the day.

 

"Athena...." Tai said sitting on the ground across from her. "I know you're confused but don't shut yourself out from us now..." He said, taking her hands in his. "We all needyou. I- I need you..." He said to her. "Now I promise- We'll clear this whole thing up between you and Yamigirl before this is over. So don't worry. Now.... Are we almost ready to go?" He asked her.

 

"I'm sorry I caused so much trouble. I am cursed with hurting people and therefore I shall leave. none of you should be hurt." With that, Yamigirl left.

 

OOC: lol, yeah! the pictures ARE cool!!! lol. btw everyone, im gonna do a headshot and then a full body shot of the characters. it's just easier for me to do the head first so i know what kind of body to make and all.
IC: "Not again!" Mononok ran up and grabbed Yamigirl's arm. "You're not leaving! I'm sick of the whole everybody thinks they can make it on their own thing! Believe me! I've tried it. It doesn't work. Not with these crazy demons. I know you can kill a demon. But you can't kill a bunch of them from a surprise attack or something!" Yamigirl tried to get Mononok's paw off her but couldn't. "Let me go! I can do what I want. You're not the boss of me!" Mononok reached into her bag and grabbed a small dagger out. "I may not be the boss of you, but I can take you prisoner. I'm not going to let you leave!" "Mononok? What are you doing? Let her leave if she wants," Tai said. "No! I don't want to see another friend DEAD!" She hurled the dagger at the ground and fell. "What are you talking about? None of us are dead," Zelda said. "Yeah but Chihiro is dead. She wanted to leave our forest and did. She never came back and one day I found her body.......just laying there.......all messed up. I could barely tell it was her. I'm sorry, everyone. But you all have become close friends....My only friends. Especially you, Tai." She looked up at him and wiped a tear from her eye. "You gave me courage. You told me we would avenge my family. You kept me going........" She stopped and didn't know what else to say.

 

OOC: and grrr what's with my post thingy? it keeps saying i've only posted 10 things. that was last week i had 10. i should be up to 25-30 at least. anybody know why its doing that??

 

OOC: It's the new post count. The RPG section doesn't count in Total posts now. ::Yeah I was mad too:: Btw when and where can I check out the pictures?!?!?!?!


IC: "I remember Mononok." Tai said to her. "That's why all of us have got to go on. If we wanna kill all the demons, we're gonna need t stick together! A very smart girl once told me- "We need to stick together until we least a village at least. By ourselves none of us stands a chance." He looked to Athena, waiting to see if she remembered saying it.

"Thats why we need to gather our strength and courage and get going!" Tai said. He looked around the group, waiting for a response.

 

Athena smiled and said, "Quit using my own words on me." She smiled at Yamagirl and said, "What you said wasn't what got me confused. Something else did don't worry though even if you aren't my sister I'll still treat you like you were so.... WHY DID YOU TRY TO LEAVE! LIKE MONONOK SAID YOU COULD GET AMBUSHED! So don't do it again ok?"

OOC: FinalFantasy400, could u control my character until Tuesday? i won't be on til then most likely.

 

OOC: Sure Athena. I'll take over for awhile. No Problem.

 

Yamigirl looked at Tai and the others. "Of corse I would stay, but then you'd hate me after a while. I may make you all hate me now. I'll tell you something. You see my ears? These are Demon ears. I am half demon okay? Now you all hate me right?" With that, Yamigirl continued to walk to try to stay away from everyone. "None of you know what it's like to be an outcast and then to finnaly run your own village as a true Princess like I have been all of my life!!! So now I told you my race, I shall leave." With that, Yamigirl began to leave but Mike stopped her this time. He stood right in frount of her cuz he knew she wouldn't hurt him. After all, she risked her life to save him. All she could do was look on the floor.
