That's right, boys and girls, the Mattykins, Amon Sena, is back to critique your art, NO HOLDS BARRED! SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY! ... Err, yeah, got carried away there. Anyways, let's get started, starting with Rem's latest

"Howdy" by Rem: Another great pic by you. You certainly have a knack for doing shading and detail. If I had to pick one thing I would definitely say that is your best attribute in all of your art, very nice. I love the horse, itself, that came out great and the actual character is very well done as well. The face, however, looks a little off, I think it might be some thing to do with the eyes and the nose.

Jasmine by Superfly: I swear to God, man, each time I see one of your pictures, I fall more and more in love with you and I mean that in the most homosexual way possible. x_x Anyways... yes, another excellent picture from you... once again I can't really find anything wrong with it that calls out to me, but if I do find something I'll come back and edit this post... damnit man, why do you have to be so good?! >:|

Away by Kos-Mos: Hrm. I've been looking t this and trying to, y'know.. make out everything. The wings aren't bad, don't seem like anything entirely appropriate for anything to do with flying, more decoration than anything.The hair looks well designed down to where it gets to the braid, where it gets kinda choppy. The ear looks off compared to the angle of the rest of the face and the bridge of the nose looks to incline a bit too much. Ye-e-e-ah, s'about it.

Beauty by Kos-Mos: The first thing that cries out to me about this picture is the hair. It definitely has to be the hair, because the hair in the last picture was so well done, but this is just... Mech. Next... is the anatomy, I guess. The hands are large and on par with the face, yet the body is about as big as the two hands together. Then the feet. It sort of looks like they're actually molding/melding together. And I'm not quite sure what those things on her legs are supposed to be. Ribbons and anklets or some sorts?

Dragon Queen by Kos-Mos: The hair is... slightly better in this one, except for at the top where it looks all chopped up and spiked.. sure, s'probably her style and everything, but doesn't appeal to me, really. Something is up wth the face, I don't know what it is, I think it's the sort of cheek point, and what IS that over her left eye? The muscular lines you have drawn for the throat/jugular and the breast-bone simply don't go with it, are drawn to low. The clothing scheme is nice, however.

Family by Kos-Mos: You did a bit better with the faces on this one but you still need to work out proportions and the likes. Also the dark-haired woman could use a bit more volume to her hair and such. Once again, the breast-bone area that you've tried to add to all three of them is low in that one as well. The middle one doesn't look that bad. Ironically the one to our right (their left) is... half and half.

Sateens by Kos-Mos: Probably being the best of the three... though that braid... meh. Makes me wonder how she stands up. x_x The swords need some work with both detail and angle though a nice attempt at the right one (her left). I like the character design for this one, really exotic without being too absurd. The thin gI'd work on first is the hair. Namely the ends.

To all of those that care, feel lucky! If all goes well and I keep at the picture I am going to be currently working on I should have it up soon (I hope, I hope, I hope). I'll try to keep you all updated as I post. (I don't really put as much time into drawing as I should and getting to a scanner is a real pain in the ***).

Okay, so here's the dealy-o. I got a few questions about my art and such and I know none of you have even bothered to go back and look through these fourty pages of posts and threads in the Art forum. So, I did it for you. Here, I will be posting all the pictures that I have posted on these boards (note these are all from my last account, ~ Zack ~, so they're like... old At least half a year or so... as I told Child of Son, I haven't really done any drawing in a long time).

Note: To save me time, I'll just post the direct links to the attached pictures. All of these (that I know of) were done free-hand except for the picture of Bebedora, which I did while looking at the official picture of the character (which I had to ****ing use by pausing the bloody game in the status screen! >: o)

I actually liked how this one came out (once again, I love that ****ing coat). The shading around the jaw-line is ****ed up because I tried to do that and give him stubble and they just sort of melded together, which sucks... I still sucked at ears and over-all shading. But probably one of my better pictures on here.

The first picture is the official artwork of Ayame from Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven. So I used this picture to create the character that you see in the drawing, only I did a lot of alterations, added some things, did some changes, etc. Besides the fact that I used another picture for this, I love this one.

Eyes are too low, too much forehead. GUH! I love everything else on this picture. The tattoos were a pain in the *** and for the sake of M2A I had to get rid of one (he was supposed to have a swastika tattoo over his naval... but, psh... no one understands that symbol anymore since the Nazi's went and ****ed it up... closed-minded ***holes).

This was a pain cause the only Vash picture I had to work from was this idiotic little Chibi key chain one of the kids in my class had which in no way even remotely helped the stance. :\ The coat is very lacking, the revolver is ****ed up and don't get me started on the arm... but at least I got the words!

This is about the OOC channel of a Role Play Channel I used to be an op in (until the owner became a ****ing tyrant and banned me and my g/f). The moose is one of my best friends, Ei who... well... she wanted to be a moose. Anyways... yeah, stupid. But it was fun for a while. (The comic was entitled We Need Therapy, quite an appropriate title).

As always, great character design Superfly. You just keep getting better. Amon those pics are fantastic, I thought you said I was better than you?. The only thing you need to watch are your proportions, and thats it. Brilliant ^_^.

Another sketch from me. This time I have tried something new, wings, This is my first attempt at drawing wings properly. I havnt rubbed out the guid lines yet because I cant decide what to do with it. Ink?, CG? or colour by hand.? What do you guys think?

There are still some serous problems with this one, but I'm still pretty proud of it. I'm sure you all know who most of these people are. There's Yuna, Tidus, Rikku, Paine, my sorry attempt for Auron, ect.

The rest of the charaters are made up

The guy at the top with his face half cut off is the Mysterous Vyres. He is my buddy PalladaMorsDeus, who used to be a member here.

The girl at the very top with the bun is Airell, another one of my characters.

The boy at the top right with dark hair is Kain, played by my friend Darkguardian26, who isn't a member here I dont think.

The girl with long hair beneat him is Lin, Played by wolf_princess, who, yet agian isn't here.

I'm very proud of it, even though it's not one of my best. Hope you guys like it too.

But, I just have to say I really like Amon Sena's character designs... hehe, they have such presence and... style ^___^. And some of them seem real bad-*** too . Very very cool!

 

Got 3 new sketches for you today:

1st one are two front shots of Reyals, now that my other half has decided to change the next manga project blowfish makes from a cyberpunk to a fantasy vampiric, demon thingy, I have been desinging the main character. His name is Reyals, I give you 10 points if you can spot the anagram in his name ^_^.

2nd one: After realising Reyals's sword would have to be attatched to him somewhere, we decided that because it was to bog for any scabard and would look silly if we put a thingy clamped to his back for it. I desiged a tough leather leg guard, that the sword will be connected to via a clasp thing a me jig. Oh and theres some concepts of the sword. Front detailed veiw, side veiw and 3 quarter veiw.

3rd one: This is my entry for draw clubs competition on deviant art, it will be CGed as the final entry. ^_^. This is of course assuming I will be accepted to join draw club ^_^.

right and finally, and comments, critisism, or help is appreciated (specially with that sword) ^_^

me.....heh, i hardly draw anything, i have to draw a fairy for a contest in another web, so far i only have this, and i doubt ill finish it since i only have two days left to turn it in...

The face looks really cute to me.
I'm still only new at this but i think that maybe the thickness of the legs are out of proportion compared to her body. Thats what i think anyway. Some people may object though.
Oh and the wings are really cool as well.

Green 2 was a character I was going to use in the manga. Shes was meant to have white hair, dark skin and deep green eyes....untill I realised that capcom designed a similar charater to her specs, damnit...

 

Wow, they are good, really good. I like the girl, the way you sketched her body, brilliant. ^_^. You have great perspective.

Superfly, those designs are fantastic, I had to do something similar, but my stuff was no were near as good.
