Polls What's your favorite anime genre?

It seems romanitic comedies are very popular, and I'd have to agree. I love to laugh, and see the tangles people get themselves into over love.

 

Mine is probably fantasy, like Most of Miazakis (excuse my spelling) works. Then theres still scifi...

 

My overall favorite would probably have to be Fantasy. However I also like Comedy/Romance, Drama, Occult, and Science Fiction.

 

Well, I picked Fantasy in the poll, but I really don't care. If an anime is interesting and I like the characters and/or plot, I'll watch just about anything. I tend to avoid hentai, however. Anything else is fine.

 

i voted for comedy because that puts love hina, naruto, trigun, and many more that i like in there so yea

 

Romance

My favorite genre is Romance, although I like to see some action every now and then too. A mixture of Action and Romance (like Saber Marionette J) is actually my absolute favorite. Whether it is Sci-Fi or Fantasy isn't usually important.

 

Humour anime is the one for me. Then romance, and then action. But some animes have them all. Those i love!

It's Comedy!
Everyone loves to laugh and feel good!

 

I like Comedy, Martial Arts, Mecha, Occult and slice of life (Azumanga Daioh) anime.

 

I love stream punk!!!! I'm the only one who voted for it though.....*Crawls into a dark corner* I'm so alone...

 

Man that was a hard choice. All my favorites are from pretty different genres.... I ended up choosing Comedy though. I guess that above it all, the thing I really love is when something can lighten me up and bring a smile back to my face.

 

Does perverted anime count? You know! Stuff like Love Hina, or Ranma 1 1/2! That kind of stuff. But since it wasn't an option, i just chose comedy. Everyone likes to laugh at some point! (right?)

 

Had to go with the comedy just love an anima that makes me laugh but second would be martial arts

 

I absolutely love Drama and Romance. In the past; I was a sucka for Sentai, such as Sailor Moon and whatnot, but that grew old on me. I still enjoy the episodes, but I get annoyed everytime the Englished Dubbed Version comes on; especially Serena's voice. But other than that; everything is cool. I am just not into it anymore. Great plotlines though.

 

My favorite anime genre would have to comedy. I love it when stuff makes you laugh especially if you are really depressed or something like that. I like other genres too but comedy is my favorite.

 

...Every once in a while, there comes a topic that a member doesn't need to post in, because his post would already be blatantly obvious. This, is one of them.

I like the more romantic ones, myself. Series like Mahoromatic, (I'll admit) Mahou Sensei Negima, and, of course, Saber Marionette J. Bet none of you saw that coming, eh?

 

Well, my favourite animes combine many of these options, but...
First, I search for humour, then romance, and action in the last. That's Saber Marionette J!

 

But isn't Mahou Sensei Negima a bit more of comedy as well. Sure, it has some romance, but not that much...i would consider it more in the comedy section. Well, at least the manga...(didn't get the anime yet...)
