Polls What's your favorite anime genre?

Oh, I'll watch it oneday, and if I end up disappointed with it...Well, it won't be pretty....^^

 

I don't think you'll be disappointed with it. Just remember it's not all violent, bloody, kill-em-up stuff. It's more emotional, humourous-type anime. Just what I like the most.

 

I like the violent, and bloody animes that hold humour and wit while someone holds a weapon. I mean, what fun is it if noone dies?

 

I tend to reach for the comedy: Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Bakuretsu Hunters, Gokudo no Manyuki, Ranma 1/2, The Slayers, Gestalt, Twin Signal..though I wouldn't reject a good horror, thriller, or romance

 

Death isn't the only fun. Nobody has to die to make something funny. (Besides, Hanagata should provide a fair bit of that kind of humour) But violence isn't all there is.

 

The same goes in the other way. Hanagata is not the only one and there is not need to watch all comedy, whatever it is death or punching.

 

Well honestly, I won't watch an anime if it's premise is something mundane like school, or such and enjoy it. I would rather watch Gantz over Cromartie High anyday....Though, cromartie is pretty funny....

 

Well, at least, would you watch it, for me?

It's more than you might think. All I ask is that you give SMJ a fair chance.

 

I'm a romantic at heart.
But I think every good manga should have at least 3-5 of each of these elements. Or more.
I like a little bit of everything.
But mostly romance, fantasy, comedy, and action.

 

I couldn't stick to one, and I was stuck between Martial Arts and Romance, which I like both together, but I went with the martial arts. ^_^

I also like the combination of action/martial arts, romance, fantasy, and comedy.

 

Fine Shinryu, I'll check it out...Eventually.
