    Geez, two months!

Well, how many animals of each sex did Moses take on the ark?

Which is correct to say: "The yolk of the egg is white." or "The yolk of the egg are white."

First is wrong, second is right.

Though, I had more trouble with the second one.

I said "The yolk of the egg are white." is correct. I figured it had to be a trick question, but I didn't catch on to the fact that yolks are yellow. I don't know why. Off day, maybe?

If by "noa," you mean "Noah," you're right! [/pointless nitpicking]

The simple, mathematicl answer would be "20 days," but given the nature of this thread, I'm inclined to believe otherwise...

I'll go with 20 days for now, unless it's wrong.

[EDIT] 19 days. On the last day, he makes it out, so he can't fall the 1 meter at night.

How many letters are in the alphabet?

    *Kefka laugh*

    And, while you're at it:

What row of numbers comes next?
    This is a tough one!
    1
    11
    21
    1211
    111221
    312211
    13112221

    "The alphabet" contains 11 letters.

That second one is a doozy, however.

    13122211?

I'm pretty sure for the underlined part, but I don't have enough information or I have not understood it

There was a reason for the Kefka laugh. pardal, you're wrong! Clearly, you do not know the English language. The alphabet is 26 letters! (Trick question)Seriously, though, in terms of the riddle, you're right.

    Jedimdo is wrong, though.

    The answer is:

    1113213211

(and 'twas I, not pardal, who got the alphabet one :p )

sorry, not to good at english to know what is "fuzzy canines"?!?!?
by the way, my world of maths is falling apart cause i can't figure out the reason of the numbers, some times i'm very intelligent, others, i'm the most stupid guy on earth, but if you could explain...

for what i've seen that riddle is over? baphijmm already answerd correctly didn't he? then, here's another riddle.

3 cientists where caught by canibals on an insland, while beging for their lifes,
the canibals decided to give the 3 cientists a chance to live. they put 5 stones, 2 white ones and 3 black ones on a bag and handed the bag to the cientists, they took one stone out of the bag each and put the stone behind them. they were on a line, the last cientist could see the stone of the midle cientist and the stone from the first cientist, the midle cientist could see the stone of the first cientist and the first cientist couldn't see any stone. the canibals asked the last cientist what was the color of is stone (he said he didn't know!), then they asked the same question to the one in the middle (he also said he didn't know) and finaly they asked the first one and he answerd correctly.

what was the color of is stone?
how was he able to know the color if he wasn't able to see any stones at all??

uh...??? kay, don't know the answer to pardal's question, but here.

    1. a farmer tied a 50-ft rope to his dog, but the dog walked away 125-ft. how is this possible?

    2. how many buckets (about 1 gallon.) of dirt can you get out of a hole 4-ft wide and 4-ft deep?

Pardal's riddle is easy, now that I've figured it out.

Here's a diagram to help explain things. 'X' is a scientist, and 'O' is a stone.

    XOXOXO

    Simple, right?

Now, the stones are two different colors, black and white. 2 White, and 3 Black in the bag. Three stones were taken out. That means that there is a 100% chance that one of them is black, because there are only 2 white stones.

In order for the scientists to know, both of the white stones had to be in a certain spot.

'B' is black, 'W' is white.

    XWXWXB

When the the two scientists said the color of the stones in front of them, the one in the front was paying attention, and, since the stone behind him, and the stone behind the guy behind him were both white, the last stone, the one nobody could see, had to be black.

Fuzzy Canines are basically dogs with fur. Look it up.

    And, yakamashi's riddles.

    1. The farmer didn't tie the rope to anything else

    2. None. You can't take dirt out of a hole, because the only thing in it is air.

    Now, for my riddle:

Romeo and Juliet are found dead on the floor in a bedroom. When they were discovered, there were pieces of glass and some water on the floor. The only furniture in the room is a shelf and a bed. The house in is a remote location, away from everything except for the nearby railway track. What caused the death of Romeo and Juliet?
