    Nope, I've not heard it, but it reminded me of one point in the movie "Labyrinth" in which a different, yet somewhat similar riddle is told. Might as well use it here.

    There are two guards guarding two different doors. One door leads to certain death, while the other leads to whatever it is you're looking for. Problem is, one of the guards always lies, and the other always tells the truth, and you don't know which is which. You must progress further, without turning back. What question do you ask, and how do you react based on the answer?

    Whee, I know this one! ^_^

    "If I asked the other guard, 'what's the door that leads to life', which door would he point to?"

    When I get the answer, I go to the other door.

    Explanation:

    If I asked the honest guard, he would tell me what the liar guard would tell me what's the safe door. But the liar guard would always lie. Still, the honest guard would tell me the truth (what the liar would tell me). In other words, the honest guard would tell me what the door that leads to life is NOT.

    However, if I asked the liar guard, he would NOT tell me what the "door that leads to life" is. If the honest guard would tell me something, the liar would switch doors and tell me what the door that leads to life is NOT.

    So, in both cases, they would tell me what the door that leads to certain death IS.

    Bingo. I go to the other door.

    I have to be honest. I couldn't solve the riddle when I was asked it. I gave up and was told the answer :p but now that I know it, it's pretty logical.

    I like this riddle better than the other one. In this you must have a clear answer to your question. In the other you must state a paradox (a statement that if it's true, then it's false). Ironically, I DID guess that one when I was asked.

    Dont get it?

    okay see the liar gaurd will point to one door the truth gaurd will point to the diffrent door, so what are you talking about :confused: because you dont know whose the liar and whose not


    I herd this one befor and knew the answer but that was a long time ago so I forgot.

    what do you mean by you ask the other gaurd? theres only 2 of them

    edit oh wait never mind I get it my friend came over and he was more clueless than I was, I just didn't understand your question that you ask the gaurds I read it diffrently

    al right another riddle this ones weird, some one made it up, its easy if you look at the question but its hard to put it in words, I think

    Did we actualy go to the moon? :)

    Seems to me that's an opinion question. Some people think that we did but others think that it was staged on Earth with a camera and moon background. Doesn't seem like a riddle...

    If the riddle is within the question, then the answer is no, "we", being the people posting on this forum, did not go to the moon. However, if you meant it differently, then this is not a riddle, it's a debate.
