Humour a little riddle...

you're right... man you're good at this...

here's another one...

you have 8 balls, one of them is less heavier then the other, but you can't feel it with your hands... you have a two plated balance and you only have two chances to height the balls. how do you know what ball is the less heavy????

and here's another...

you have two rooms completly separated from each other. in the first room you have three swiches and in the second room you have 3 lamps in random order. you can only go one time to each room, how do you know what swich is for what lamp????

 

Heh, thank you. It's really all simple logic, anyway. If you think it all through, the answers always reveal themselves.

I've heard a variation on that second one, but it seems to function the same, so...

You turn on one light, and leave it for a while. Say, 15 minutes. The you turn it off, and turn one other switch on. Then you go to the room. The light tha't on, is the one that uses the second switch. The light that's off, is for the switch you didn't touch, and the light that's off, with a hot bulb, is the first light.

As for your first riddle, give me some time.

can't figure that out... maybe the glass was from a bowl... the first one drowned in the water of the bowl and the second broke the bowl and killed itself with the glass?!?!?!?

ok, my guess, which is probably incorrect, but anyway here it is

The Romeo died under the train. The Juliet brought his body into the house and layed him on the floor. There was a glass vase filled with water on the shelf. When juliet was crying near Romeos dead body the train rode past their house and caused the vibration. The vibration caused the vase to fell down on juliet's head killing her. The vase broke into many pieces of glass and water spilled everywhere.

 

A bit gruesome, me_dreaming_zzz, and still no. Actually, this reminds me of a guy in the former Soviet Union who thought he could stop vehicles with his mind. Then he tried it with a train...

As for pardal:
Nope! Not quite. Though the glass was from a bowl. You are fairly close. Keep in mind, "Things are not always what they seem." (I wish I could remember where that came from, but I've forgotten)

 

This is also really just a wild guess but I thought I'd say it anyway. I think there is some significance to the fact that it is Romeo and Juliet. I think that Romeo thought something happened to Juliet so he drank some poison from the bowl and after drinking it dropped the bowl to the ground where it broke and spilled the rest of the poison (it only looked like water on the ground). When Juliet wakes up or whatever she finds Romeo dead and kills herself with one of the pieces of glass. I don't think it is right but I was going off the Romeo and Juliet tragedy

You're wrong. And now you have a hint.

 

The classic riddle you're speaking of is with Romeo and Juliet being pet fish whose bowl fell and broke, leaving them to asphyxiate in the air.
<edit>This bowl, in your set up, would have fallen from the shelf with the passing of a train, there leaving them to be discovered by their soon to be distraught owner.</edit>

But that's only if you're sticking with that classic riddle.

For the other riddle, I can't seem to get to it. I get to this page that tells me to use every hint I can find, then I can't get to this actual riddle. Little help?
