Humour a little riddle...

Im not sure if this is where it belongs..so forgive me if its in the wrong place ...so here it is: (btw...if you would like me to post the answer I will)

What is greater than God, and more evil than the devil; the poor have it, the rich need it, but if you eat it you'll die?

 

That is easy

answer: Nothing

I never heared that befor but it is something that seemed like it would fit

I love riddles!! Even though I am not so good at them. . . :sweat: I think they are fun to think about, and are just a fun play on words.

Lets here some more riddles! I know I would like to, we could even make it into a game. Who ever knows the answer makes or gives a new riddle to solve. Or we could just share riddles for fun. Just an idea.

 

Hey I got one.
But maybe you've already heard it.
Oh well, well anyways here it is:

What crawls on 4 legs in the morning,
Walks on 2 in the afternoon,
And walks on 3 in the evening?

This one took me forever to get.

 

A baby (crawling on all fours), an adult (walking on 2 legs) and and old man (walking on 2 legs and a walking stick).

Heard that one before .

 

I'm not sure whether a riddle game would belong in humour or philosophy- it seems to fit in both, but since a lot of riddles are funny once you find the answers, I'll keep this thread here!

i was gunna say a human cause your tired and u crawl out of bed. walk at work. and at the end of the day your tired and have a kane for one reason or another.

 

The answer to Meaikoh's riddle is leaves (dead leaves make a sound when you step on them, unlike "living" leaves).

First white, then red. The fatter they get, the better the old lady likes them?

 

This one seems really hard, to me that is. You might find my guesses kind of odd. . .i know i do. ^^;; Could it be a Tampon? (I dont think that one needs explaining) o_o;; (i hope thats not inapropriate) Or maybe, like in hansel and gretel, the little kids. . .they are white but when she bakes them the get hot and turn red? And she likes them fat.

They prolly arent right but it was worth a shot.

plimith rock...? i don't know! heard this one before though.... should've listened.

 

My guess (as incredibly stupid and un-thought out as it is) is that they landed in America.

I know the historically correct answer should be Plymouth Rock, but surely a riddle wouldn't go into historical detail, now, would it?

Either that or pilgrims didn't land, they disembarked. XD (is that the right word for when you get off a ship?) because whenever I think of landing...I think of planes.

 

I know this is a bit of an easy one and it's from a movie that i really like but i'm going to metion it anyway cause none of my friends are ever able to get it.
