They have set up camp. The fire is crackling brightly and everyone has blankets set up for beds, Mio takes out her tattered pack and spills an assortment of breads, cheeses, mushrooms and fruits onto a cloth. "I had to grab what I could from the village store before I ran away," she explained, "it's not much but help yourselves. I also have some milk..." She takes out a leather canteen and took a drink, poured some into Eio's bowl, then passed it to Mika and her brother. Eio looks up, "I'm so sorry about your dragon partners kids, but you gotta keep your chins up, they wouldn't want you crying like this." Mio nods, then turns to the others, "What is everyone doing here? This forest road is so thick with spirits that even the most hard-hearted adventurers wouldn't dare come here without a dragon, their minds would be spirit meat like that!" *snaps fingers*
I'm here to get away from home. That city we saw, I don't think we should go there. I heard that place is inhabited by vampires.....
"They used to be bloodsuckers, but spirits took over. Most of 'em drain your blood then take your soul." The serpent-like dragon curled round her kneak still glowing "They only survive without human people there because of a dragon-spitit in an underground shrine in the centre of the city." the others are lisening intently, Teck looked at her suspiciously "That's all I know, just roumours really", she added quickly..
Mio: *squints thru the now-thinner mist at the silent city* "What th....... eeeek!" Eio; *Wakes up* (he'd been dozing) *yawn* "Whut's the matter?" The others stand up, Mio; The shape! The shape again! At the gate! At the gate! Eio; *growls at the shadows* They're powerful spirits, too powerful to be defeated by us, and they're comeing this way... Mio; *Jumps up, pulling her hammer from her pack* "No one threatens to soul suck Mio Makobie!" She runs towards the shapes, the others try to stop her, but she doesn't have to go far. The shapes enter the mist, suddenly a fizzing sound rips from the purple fog, the things scream and then glide back towards the gates. Mio stood still, terrified, the mist was now stinging, burning hot, it stank of fresh blood, it grew thick engulfed her, eating away at her soul, but suddenly it stopped, as soon as it had begun, Mio realised that she was curled up in a ball, shaking... Mio; *Gets to her feet* ...What...? Eio; *Runs towards her* Mio! Mio! Oh thank the good spirits! You're okay! Mio; *suddenly afraid, she hugs Eio* Eio! I was in so much pain! The mist, it attacked the creatures! But then it attacked me! It ate me Eio! It ate ME! Eio; *under breath* Probably couldn't eat something so stupid.... Mio; *whacks Eio* (ooc: this is becoming somewhat of a tradition......)
ooc: basicly, the mist attacked Mio, but not on purpose, it was attacking the creatures but Mio sort of got hit by it too... or something like that.
mika looks at the mist and the odd city. She gets up and walks towards it, walking right through the mist, it opening to let her and Yori through. She stops for a moment and looks at everyone. "Are you coming???"
NO WAY! I'm not going near that place!! *the others followed towards the city, wondering if the would get out again alive* DON'T GO IN THERE!!!!!!! *looks around dark forest* ulp..... wait for me!!!! *runs after them, the dragon still asleep, curled round her kneak*
The little girl blinked up at each of them her eyes wide with fear. "What was that?" Looking around from face to face she noticed the only one who didnt seem frightned at all was this mika girl. In fact she looked almost happy. Greatly confused by this she turned feeling a presence behind her. Jumping a little when Miyu her pink dragon was there. "Miyu! Oh Miyu where have you been I was so worried." The pink dragon nuzzled her hair affectionatly before pushing her up on its back. The little girl looked over at the others, and realized they were glancing confused, from her pink dragon to her. Giggling nervously she gestured at her dragon and the to her self giving them their names. "Oh I almost forgot, this is my pet dragon Miyu, and I am Eloral. Its nice to meet all of you."
Mika smiles at them. "No worries. As long as you stick with Yori and I, you'll be safe." She giggles and continues to walk towards the city.
*Everone follows, exept Xalis* PLAEASE don't go in there! *Laril her dragon, woke up and looked around just inside the gate of the city. He then took his place around Xalis kneak and said*: "hay! We're not lost Xalis! We're Ho--!" she slaped a hand over his mouth before he could finnish speaking and hoped no-one heard. Unforunately for her Laril is loud.........
at Laril's words, Mio turns around, shocked, but within a second of her opening her mouth a huge black shape looms up behind her and makes to crash down. Eio jumps in and pushes Mio to the ground, the shape crashing into the ground and then vanishing inches from her feet. Mio looks around franticly for someone, anyone, to blame, her Cream Yellow eyes fall on Mika and Yori. She gets up and points an accusing finger, "that girl and her brother are doing something here!" *turns to Xalis* and your unlucky your dragon's a loudmouth! Now someone's gonna explain everything to me right now!" *notices Eloral glance at her* "What are you looking at!?" Eio sighs, "calm down Mio..." "Calm down!? CALM DOWN!?!? I was nearly spirit pudding!" And something funny's going on!" ooc; Mio's a little short tempered.....
Mika looks at Mio in the eyes. "You accuse people to easily! Leave Yori out of this!" She continues to walk and they reach the gates, Yori wearing a confused look upon his face.
Mio quiets down eventually. Mostly because Mika freaked her out a little. But she continues to walk a good distance behind the others, not wanting to look like she'd forgotten the whole thing.
Mika mumbles something and a figure appears, opening the gates and letting them in. It forms the shape ofa male and he has long white hair. He wispers to her and her brother... "M'lady... M'lord, welcome back."
All the others gaze in awe as Mika opens the gate and the figure appears. But Mio is still mumbling something grumpily.
