Roneri withdrew her hand and shrugged, "Whatever." She said simply and took a few steps back.

"Where is Darius?" she heard him ask.

"He is hunting down an old...acquaintance." She smirked. The word hunting fit the situation right, anyway. She looked up at him, her eyes reflecting light, "I'll take you to him shortly. Once you've finished here." She took a few steps back and leaned on a building, "I'll be waiting."

She smirked. At least this would give her something to do...or watch. All she had to do was wait. And hey, she could see what this guy could do. Maybe even figure out why Darius is so keen on finding this man.

 

Raziel saw Darius getting shot and heard the whistle from the passing bullets, he quickly phased and lost control of his thoughts for Athena. He phased to Darius and said "Are you all right?"

Leon saw his chance, and took it. He intended to stick around, after all, he had come and found Darius, and not the other way around, but Athena seemed to be frozen...whether with fear or something else.

<Athena!>

He gave Athena a soft push in the direction away from it all. <I can't go with her! I have to stay, but she needs to move!>

Leon looked up at Darius, waiting for his reaction to his shoulder. And still he tried to make Athena go.

 

Setsaki walked out of his house with his sword sheathed, a sense of fright on his face.

As he looked and saw Reina, he heard loud footsteps near them.

"Reina, look out!!"

With that, he pulled out his sword and pulled it straight through a vampire that was behind them.

"What foul creatues, I am almost ashamed to be half of one."

As he looked up, a spell card with Limitos Arga on it drifted down from the sky like a feather, he crumbled it and sheathed the rapier and looked towards Reina and said.

"Well, hello, long time no see. How have you been?"

OOC: To clear up any misunderstandings, this was simply a regular vampire... a henchman so to speek. So, this was a name-less character who had no impact on the story at all. A NPC (non playable character)

 

(ooc: just so everyone understands, Vincent was on the roof of the nearest building )

Vincent smirked and looked at the newcomer. Yep, he definitely had Darius's blood. He jumped down to them, still smirking.

"Half-blood? Yeah, right...I can barely sense any of it in you." Vincent said in an icy tone. "But...just out of curiousity, who are you exactly? I smell Darius on you..."

(ooc: Really, what is his race? I thought at first he was human...@_@)

 

Darius was caught completely off guard by the shotgun shell. It pierced his already battleworn armor and tore through Darius' undead flesh. The blessed Yamamori bullet sent a searing pain through his arm. Overcome by the pain Darius dropped his sword and fell to a knee clutching his shoulder.

Out of nowhere, Raziel appeared next to him. "Are you all right?"

The pain subsided as the dark enchantments and curses on Darius' vestments, armor, and beign started to counteract the holy effects of the bullet. "'Tis but a flesh wound," he said as he examined the hole left by the bullet.

He grabbed his sword from the ground and attempt to retreat.

 

(ooc: Oooh...I see now. Then Vincent is just bluffing/acting cocky then )

"Hell no, I'm not going to let you leave that easily!" Rian yelled as she walked to Leon's side and aimed again, but then hesitated... this wasn't her fight.

"Do you want me to shoot again?" Rian asked Leon in a low whisper, her tone unusually serious as she kept her main attention on Darius.

 

"Where are we going?" said Raziel. They walked into the direction of Roneri.

Leon looked to Rian. She was asking him if he wanted her to shoot Darius? He was torn- he wanted to say 'yes, yes do it!' but if he did...what would happen to his plans? He struggled with the idea for a second.

"Sh-shoot him...no wait...Ahh! I don't know!"

Leon clamped his hands onto his head. He took a deep, unecessary breath, and brought his thoughts into reign. "No, don't shoot him."

He quickly took out his silver, blessed dagger, his first dagger, with the leather hilt and imbedded cross on the hilt. He stole behind Darius and brought the dagger to his throat. "We go. Now, Darius."

 

Rian lowered the weapon, her expression oddly blank, and rested it casually over her shoulder. She then turned to Athena, her eyes still on Leon and Darius.

"You okay?"

 

Roneri kicked a stone. She looked at the ground blankly as she waited for Vincent to finish. Her arms were folded behind her back and her eyes unfocused.
What a crazy few days this has been... she though. But what loomed in her mind the most was how different she had been acting lately. Especially around...
Roneri jerked herself back into reality as Setsaki appeared. She looked up, but not moving any more than that. For some reason she found herself too calm to feel as if she needed to defend herself from him. Serene even.
She half shut her eyes and grumbled, "Come back for another beating...” She sighed, remembering there first fight, "...or are you here to recite more poems?" She sighed once more and stood up, now, either, tired, or just bored. She couldn't decide which one. Maybe she didn't even want to try.
She smiled at that though, "Or maybe I'm just getting lazy..."

 

Setsaki had a little laugh he tried to keep to himself.

"Well, actually, she called me." He pointed to Reina, "And I came."

Setsaki put a pair of black gloves out of his leather trenchcoat and put them on.

"Now, tell me, what did you need me for?"

Setsaki began to dig inside the vampire he had slain. "Heh, got to destroy the original possessing spell if we dont want him to revive."

 

Not knowing who Setsaki was, and just the tiniest bit annoyed that he hadn't acknowledged her presence, the priestess regarded him with suspicion.

"And who might you be?" she asked calmly.

 

Setsaki looked at the woman. "Oh yes, I believe greetings are in order. My name is Setsaki Senzuki. I am here in this city of of death because i didnt believe."

Setsaki looked up into the sky, "And now I must find the door. The door that leads to Heaven."

"Also, I am Darius' nephew. My father was his brother."

"So, may I ask, who are you?"

 

The blonde nodded once. She looked down at Reina and then back up at Setsaki. "I am Felicia de Lune, a child of light." 'Or so said the priest.' "I was sent to protect Reina from darkness."

Felicia tensed slightly, knowing there was still at least one vampire nearby.

 

OOC: I'm so sorry i was gone for so klong. Break started and i was on for a while then i got a surprise christmas present and i was out of state and then i came back aftrer school was already in session and i had to catch up on lessons and start studying for finals which for me start tomorrow since i hve a spanish class. and second Akasha has left the rpg for the moment so ignore his character for a while.

*Athena*
Athena stared up at Rian and whispered, "Go help Reina... she thinks I'm dead and I don't know how much longer I can remain in control... Darius and Raziel together are so strong..."

*Reina*
"They've killed her... Setsaki... they somehow killed Athena! I want you to help me kill them all! You're a skilled fighter.... and you don't lose control of yourself like Leon does!" she turned to the priestess and said, "Thank you for helping me... I'm sure together we can beat these evil fiends."

 

Roneri sighed, "Good riddance." She mumbled.
She stood up straight and looked at Vincent, "If you want to see Darius, come with me." She turned her back to them, "I dont have enough time for your foolishness."
Roneri tapped her foot once, and looked down to the ground, jumping off the building.
She landed on her feet and continued to walk.

 

Setsaki looked at Reina and then his expression softened, for the first time, it was the only time he had ever made an expression other than a grimace.

He looked, happy, and inviting.

"Of course I'll help you. You are my little sister after all." Setsaki embraced his sister. It wasn't just a regular hug, but one full of love and compassion.

When he broke contact from Reina, she could see that his eyes were filled with happiness that his sister was still alive and great love for her. He had become, almost, gentle.

Setsaki bowed to Felicia then told her something. "Yes, I can see that you are a child of the light, second daughter, I believe. If you wish to come with us, I only hope you can stay in the light. For I ventured into the darkness once, and i am only half in the light now. If I chose to venture any further into darkness, I would become a child of the devil himself. Just remember to keep your will strong and never venture from what you plan to do."

Setsaki looked at both of them and said. "Well, you both look pretty roughed up," he held out his hands, "Why don't you come in my house? I can get you some new clothes and perhaps some new gear. We'll need it."

 

"The little girl right?" Rian looked at Athena for a moment, before sighing, "I'm on it. You take care of yourself and don't give in. I've been through something like this myself and I know its hard, but you have to keep fighting back."

With that she took off in search of Reina, she remembered seeing a flash of light earlier somewhere in the city...

"Hmphf. He's a poet. I'll deal with him and the little brat later...not to mention that priestess. But first, priorities..." Vincent muttered under his breath before following Roneri, his strides long and filled with an air of confidence.

 

*Reina*
Reina looked up at Setsaki and realized he looked just like their father! Her eyes grew wide with happiness and tears of joy filled her eyes and even though Setsaki had just given her a hug she quickly latched onto him and said, "I'm so glad I've found you brother! At least even though I lost Athena I've found you."
