Anime Anime in your school

There are quite a few anime fans. Some are the super-annoying people wh just watch TV and openly call themselves anime fans. I am not saying they not like anime but they make them sound like they have seen all anime all rew and they know what it all means. Some like anime but keep it quiet. Of course these people only watch dubbed on TV but are not like ones who make a beig hulla-ballo about it. and then there are they ones who buy the disks watch them and smear the joy of anime to the school. Then there are those people who respect anime. The blantant haters exist.

 

I started my own club, w00t. However, so far we only have three members, President (moi) vp (best friend Ryan) and Jeremy

Lucky when i tried to make a club no one had a clue to what it was so i stopped and just joined the newspaper club and now write articles on anime and manga

 

If I could make my own club, I would. But the head of school. . . Says, "That would be an immature group."

I really don't like it, when people think it is just 'cartoons'. Or, if they make fun of you for drawing something that they THINK is something it isn't ( i.e. hentai or Pokemon ) ::Rolls her eyes:: I guess my friends + I learned to hide our obsession. ;P

Don't hide it. The more people understand anime, the better. My church thought it was just another cartoon. But the chances are they know nothing about japanese cartoons. I had an anime club at my school, but now its gone :sad: If you ever get one just don't let the whole school in( thats where i messed up ).

 

My school has a animation club but all wat we mostly watch is anime. So u could just call it a anime club than. We meet after skool like every wednesday and watch anime for 2 hours. Our leader of our club we usually make him angry by going around and calling our club a cult and keep on asking him when is the mass suicige. it is really funny to get him mad. We have like close to 20 ppl in our club. Even most of my friends r anime fans. But only 6 of them come to the club and the others just blow off the club.

 

there is a kid in my school who THINKS he likes anime. So I invited him to watch some of the.. bloodier ones, he decided he only likes Dragonball/Z/GT, so i showed him some fansubs i had, and he didn't like that either :anger2: He wrote THE most uninformed, immature, and ignorant article ever about Dragonball Z, now i hate him.

some anime-style-game fanatics
and everyone else says 'Aye, they pure like pokemon' (ned speak)

there aren't many anime likers in muh skool.....
i and a few others only

 

Last i checked, we got bout 40-45 people in the HAC (Harwood Anime Club)

But, i dont like some of them, because they are DBZ fanatics, which i dont like.

But, we usually meet after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

For 2 hours on Mondays&Wednesdays and 1 hour on Fridays.

During the time we have set acide for HAC, we usually discuss anime and manga.

I think our first meeting when we come back will be about Ragnarok.

But, we usually watch anime at someones house, usually mine.

any one got any pointers on a good anime to start with......or any suggestions that will help??????

 

U could start with nadesico. It has comedy and mecha(robots). Its mostly about a really wacky crew put together to fight on the Nadesico(Battleship) in a war Earth vs Jupiter.

My school lacks it, not much people talk about anime. All of my friends basically all of them don't like anime except for a few. In my class only a couple of guys likes anime and the rest are like into magic cards??! or other things. Especially girls there are so little of them!! I can't find a decent friend that is girl that likes anime!! The guys ya i talk to them but they are not just great.
There's no anime club or anything since its a Senior school. Out of ten of popularity of anime it is 4/10.

 

I'm the only one at my school who likes anime. :sad: :anime: But I'm an individual, so I'm not sad about it.

I made my own club. A ripe success. xD Cuz everyone wants to be in Miss Perfect's club. ^.^ Through the club, however, I came to realize the harsh truth; modern anime is stupid, mostly due to the fans. The hordes of idiot fans just put the dumb back in anime fandom. It's more about fanservice than plot, and it's more about how crazy other people think you are than actually doing anything anime-related.

 

There are a few people(mostly scary) who like anime in my school, but there aren't any clubs. There is a club at the public library which I have attended a few times, and always leave wishing to kill them all. I go to watch anime not scream out Yu-Gi-Oh commands and howl at the dumbest things that pop up on the screen.

So sadly with the exception of my friends there aren't many people near me with whom I can discuss anime seriously.

 

Me too...! I live in Denmark..and there are VERY few people that watch anime...T_T I cant discuss withe them...cause most of them arent interest in it..

 

I'm the only only one who does it everyone hates it my friends take the P*SS out of me cause of it so I,ve been suspended for ... ya know fighting with them ... hope it answeres your question. :bleed:
