At the moment the black wings were seen out of Seyra's back, Chaos' eyes widened and narrowed. He quickly got up, grabbing Aquafiva's arm and dragging her up at the same time.
"OH MY GOD IT'S A--" she began unable to finish the sentence, but Chaos was able to with most clamness and ahteness.
"Alletai."
"OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, ON MY F-"
"AQUAFINA, shut up and get out of here. Where's there's one of these there's bound to be trouble. Don't hesitate in a fight, kill anything that challenges quickly and mericiless. Now go!" he explained to her.
"What about you Chaos!?"
"I gotta stay here."
Aquafina looked at him sadly but ran off either way.
Chaos' eyes narrowed even more as the dark spawn appeared, but was soon killed, he smirked, glad to know that were other strong ones. Soon, his wings burst out from his back, beautifully white, with a tinge of brown at the bottom.

Sin gasped at the Alletai. So that's what her cousins looked like. Wished she could have wings like that.
What was she thinking?! This person edmitted PURE EVIL, so this was NOT the time to be wishing for pretty fluffy black wings.
People were screaming, all very loudly actually. Sin dug through her pockets, an expression on her face as if this was just a simple little trip at the shop in which she just needed to find some change. regardless of all the people saying she was nuts for doing that at this moment, Sin continued searching till she found what she was looking for, her two trusty daggers.
One in each hand Sin began to run through the crowd, but she need to push people out of the way, and she couldn't do that without piercing a perfectly nice little hole in their body as a souviner from the tournament now could she!? So, she put one of her daggers inbetween her teeth and used her hand to push as many people out of her way as possible.
'I gotta do soemthing.' she thought.

Aquafina finally managed to make her way through the crowds only to find two of those neveks. She galred at them.
'Just my luck, now how do i get out of here!?'
Then she remembered what Chaos said. fight anything that challenges you. But what to fight with.
Then Aquafina smirked, just the perfect way to beat these things and release everything on her chest freom this day of stress. Without hesitation she opened her mouth, releasing the loudest scream her siren powers could conjure up, causing some walls to crack...

Chaos' eyes darted from place to place as he tried to avoid the Neliathan's tail as best as possible. he then saw them: the empress' daughter and her pyrian friend. About to be attacked by a nevek, even worse. he unslethed his sword and fell towards them and with one fast movement slashed the nevek with all his strength. before the beast could make another move he conjured up some very large sharp vines/throns to pierce the beast. He hoped this killed the thing off but if it didn't, he'd just have to use his elian powers.

In the meantime Sin had made it trhough the crowds and saw Ryhe beinjg attacked. recognizing him as another sinalett, Sin took the one dagger in her hand and threw it at the nevek, piercing it's body. She ran to Ryhe as the nevek was preoccupied, took the other dagger out of her mouth and asked him:
"Are you okay?"
At the same time she was twirling the other dagger in her hand and acting as this was the most commonest of events.

 

Bara had, had to leap off the safety of the railing he had relanded on and dart from under the Nevek when it tried to pin him but a swiped claw and he smashed into the ground of the ring, the Nevek following and pinning him under its claw. He struggled for a moment before remembering. Ohh yeah....I can still use fire under here.

He shifted to get his blade up a little higher before sliding an arm free and stretching it out. The funny thing was, he was a firedancer and hadn't even used his fire yet. He hadn't felt the need to. His creature started out as a simple ball of fire but after some concentration it blossomed into a large dragon that was the size of the Nevek. The dragon roared realistically and charged the Nevek, forcing it off of Bara and he rolled free, flying upward to dodge the feet when they both struggled. He was keeping his hold on his creation but with a wave of his hand to dragon seemed almost to explode, englufing the Nevek in flames.

 

"Are you okay?" The other Sinalett who had come to help was a welcome sight.

"I'm fine, for now." Having stopped running, Rhye realized just how much that wall had hurt. He had to think fast, as the Nevek was still bearing down on them.

"Okay, I'll distract it, you go in."

 

The Nevek chased after Rhye but stopped when a dagger pierced it's shoulder. The creature roared and ripped the object from its body and continued to run at the, now two, Sinaletts.

The Nevek burned and screamed in agony, and appeared to be dying when, it flew into the air and grabbed Bara's arms, its sharp claws digging into his skin while still aflame...

The two Neveks shuddered and grabbed their heads, but when the sound dies away, they glared at the Siren, though their heads were bleeding severely from the attack, and charged at the Aquian at the same time...

Ariana shut her eyes, expecting the worst, when...nothing. She looked up and saw the Nevek get slashed by the thorns and vines, causing it to move backwards.

Ariana turned her head and saw that a bi-racial had attacked the Nevek. But before she could say her thanks, the Nevek had pulled the vines from himself and, though weakened, charged again...

Kael stared after Val and, after a moment, followed her...

The Neliathan in the arena gave a glass shattering shriek and started to climb the stands to get to the streets, its tail thrashing wildly as it went.

The Empress of Arian, Isis Lyndial, flew and landed on the same building which the bandaged figured had, but he was no longer there and was no trace that he ever was.

Her short platinum-blond hair and the ivory feathers of her wings moved with the wind. The thin golden crown on her forehead glittered from the sunlight that had managed to pierce through the dust and debris. Crossing her arms over her chainmail armor, she waited.

The Empress's Royal Bodyguard landed on the same roof and quickly walked to Isis's side, her fiery wings turning back to ash as she moved and her shoulder length crimson hair billowed behind her.

"Was he here?" she asked tensely.

"Yes, I'm afraid. The prediction happened exactly as it said it would." The Empress replied. "Did you do your part, Kai?"

Kai Fyre nodded, "Yes, though it was pretty hard for me to keep our armed forces out of this kind of crisis. Especially when we don't give them an explanation."

"Yeah...why do we have to do it this way?"

Isis remained staring down at the chaos while Kai turned to see the newcomer. It was Sevita Rynne, the Empress' Royal Advisor. She walked to the other side of the empress, her long black hair and cloak flowing behind her.

"Why do we?" she asked again, her eyes narrowed as she looked at the Empress.

The Elian paused before answering, "Because, there was no other way. We cannot tell who is strong enough unless they faced real danger."

"She's right. There was no other way," the Pyrian Bodyguard agreed.

The Advisor moved her gaze to battle raging on below, "Well, the officials are asking questions. I don't think we can keep ignoring the situation for much longer."

Isis nodded, "I'll intervene in a moment. Go and keep watching. Report to me when everything is over and whatever you do, don't interfere."

Kai nodded and bowed slightly before her wings returned and she took to flight again. Sevita however remained.

"She promised me..." she muttered to herself after a moment.

"It was in the prediction. There was nothing you could do." The Empress said before she, herself, turned and flew away.

Sevita stared down at the raging Neliathan, "Damn it all!"

 

Jyn set the base of her trident on the ground and eyed the fallen Sinalett (that was what she looked like) on the ground.

Yunig knelt down next to Mirial, concerned.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his face hovering a few feet above hers.

He held out his hand to her and waited.

Lanah walked over to Jynaiyu, swinging her morningstar over her shoulder.

"That was great," she said honestly.

Jyn nodded, watching Mirial with concern. Lanah did the same the second after she'd spoken.

 

Bara struggled, the flames didn't harm him as much as it would on others. It actually didn't do any damage. The damage done was the claws, tearing into his skin, blood slid down his arms as he struggled to break the hold, the arm of the sword, pinning to his side at the moment.

 

Val ran towards the Neveks with a grin. She slide from underneath their legs and came up behind them. She stood up quickly and slashe don in teh back. SHe ducked as the other nevek slashed at her but she would help a good clawing at her shoulder. She turned her balde downwards and stabbed the nevek and pulled her blade out and kicked kicked it on the ground. They didn't dissappear and she looked over at Kael who just looked back. She went over to teh two dead bodies and turned her blade and prepared to stab one but suddenly they both flew upward and one salpped it's wings against Val's face adn sent her flying backing backward.

 

The nevek holding Bara, though most of its body was now charred, started crushing Bara, apparently trying to kill him before the flames kill it...

Kael catched Val before she landed on the ground, let her go quickly yet safely, then put two arrows in his bow and fired in the air, just as the Neveks were about to dive on them.

Only one hit its target, right between the eyes, sending it off course. The other swiped the arrow away and slashed at Kael, who blocked it with his sword. The moster put more force into his attack against the sword and Kael was pushed back...

Meanwhile, the othe Nevek ripped the arrow from its head and charged at Val. Apparently, the poison took some time to take effect..

 

Val jumped in the air and behind it. It turned much quicker then she had anticipated. It pussed her backward almost back to back with Kael. Val put her blades together to form an X to use both her arms for strength. She removed one and stabbed it in the stomach and the monster roared in agony and slashed her int eh ribs. She ignored the attack and reached backward for anythign adn she found Kael's arrows.

"Borrowing one, sorry," Val said as she quickly stuck teh Nevek in the throat with teh arrow and used the sword in her left hand and supported it with her right hand and severed its head. The monster began to dissappear and her long knife that she had impaled it with dropped to teh ground. She held her wound in pain but she turned and stabbed the Nevek that was attacking Kael in the stomach to help him.

 

The Nevek roared and just swiped at her with one of its claws, keeping the other one on Kael's sword, and knocked Val to the ground.

Kael looked at the ground and concentrated. Brown vine-like branches grew from the ground under the Nevek and entangled it and slowly crushed it, creating a ugly leaf-less tree with the monster in its middle. He then drove his sword through its head and the monster disapeared.

Kael didn't like to see people get hurt by the dark-spawn, and this girl had helped him. He quickly knelt down next to Val and said, "You're hurt." His face was emotionless, but his eyes were soft with worry.

 

"I'm fine..." Val said trying to get up. The wound bit at her side and she laid back down quickly and turned to teh side and blood trickled down the corner of her mouth. she reached aruond for her one of her weapons and found it's handle and picked it up adn pointed it downward and she used it to sit up. She turned to look at Kaal who's eyes looked a little softer then whens he ahd first met him. "I'll be fine, its onyl a small wound," Val said smiling through her pain.

 

Chaos narrowed his eyes soemwhat sadly at the nevek that had gotten back up and charging at him.
"Not even the foul of beasts need to die slowly and painfully, the only way to go is fast..." he whispered, before raising his hand creating a bright light in it. he then shoot the beam he was creating at the nevek, which should have finished it off.
'Why didn't you just let yourself die? I hate using these.' he thought melancholicly.

Aquafina smirked with pure delight as she saw what her little, itty, bitty scream had done to the two beasts. As they charged at her, she fell flat on her back before they came, and when they came, she letted her wrist band baldes dig and slash through their under belly.

Sin was not expecting the nevek and unprepared for when it charged at her. it hit her and now some part of her body was bleeding, a part of her body that the nevek had probably caused most damage to perhaps her side. Cringing she took her other dagger and stabbed it into the creature's head, some blood specks in her face. It didn't matter if that had killed the thing or not, she took it out and continuelesly stabbed the nevek's head, her eyes now becoming blind with tears.
"STUPID MR. NEVEK!!! THAT HURT!!! BAD MR. NEVEK, BAD MR. NEVEK!" she cried like a 5 year old.

 

The Sinalett was so upset and emotional that she didn't see the claw grab around her waist. The Nevek furiously picked Sin up and threw her away from it. Now bleeding, it went into a beserk frenzy and charged at the ninja. In its fury, completely ignoring Rhye.

Chaos' beam of light went right through the nevek, and it shattered into a million black particles.

Ariana stared at Chaos again, "I need your help, its too dangerous out here. Please. Help me carry her someplace safe." she asked, puting one of Nuria's arms over her aching shoulders.

But just then the Nelaithan reached the street, creating craters where it's feet land, some yards from the Ariana and the others.

"Oh no..." she muttered, as the giant monster roared.

Kael looked around and saw no more Neveks nearby and none arriving, but the Neliathan had reached the street and was now slashing the buildings with it's tail. The streets were now deserted save for some fighters and a few stragglers trying to get out of the monster's way.

"Come." Kael then actually lifted her up into his arms, to him it was the fastest way to get away, "It's not safe here and you are no longer in shape to fight."

He then quickly ran in the opposite direction of the Neliathan, thinking, Where's the Elian Guard? Why havent they been dispatched, i havent seen one soldier during the entire attack."

Kael then stared at Val, "Do you know anyone who could help your wounds? Anyplace safe?"

The two Neveks screached in pain, but then quickly turned around and started for Aquafina. But before they reached her, both creatures were blasted by some black energy force and dissapeared in a million particles. The blast had come from a flying figure that was now headed towards Bara...

Before Bara could think of anything to do, a pair of pale hands grabbed hold of the flamming Nevek's head and the head exploded, followed by the whole body in a mist of black particles.

The hands belonged to the now Alettai, Seyra Rynne, her black wings billowing behind her. Without even staying to see if Bara was alright, Seyra dissapeared and reappeared next to Jyn, Yunig, Lanah, and Mirial, who was closest to the Neliathan besides Ariana and Chaos. Seyra glared at the monster and slowly approached it...

The Empress watched from a far... She would make her move when the last Nevek was destroyed and after seeing what the warriors would do to *try * and stop the mighty Neliathan. This was the only way she could tell if they were worthy.

 

"Not at teh moment. Just go into a building. I can treat this wound quickly. We must continue to help get rid of the Neliathan," Val said as Kael turned into an abandoned building. He laid Val down on the ground softly and she removed her cloak and her once crystal white dress was now red all over. She took out a small dagger from her shoe and cut open teh waist of her dress. She lightly cleaned the wound with a handkercheif and tore at her cloak and wrapped the thin fabric aruond her waist. There was less pain now. Enough that she could walk anywyas. She stood up quickly holding her wound. "Come we should help."

 

Kael stood there, watching her for a moment, judging her capabilities, then looked out the window where the monster raged. He wasn't about to lead the girl to her death, but he promised himself to do everything in his power to destory all dark-spawn and keep them from destroying lives....Kael just hadn't expected to find them here...

He took off his black cloak and threw it to the side before pulling out his sword, twirling it once in his hand.

"Don't waste arrows on it, it's skin is too thick, even it's eyes are protected...Your powers will be more effective, though not by much." He looked back at her, "Speed is very important in staying alive. Let's go."

With that, the Erthian left the building...

 

Yunig and Jyn helped her up, and she bowed graciously, assuriong them she was fine. She beckoned them to follow her, as Mirial drew herself up, holding her arm in pain.
She quickly ran to catch up with Val and Kael.
"Thank you," she told them, bowing slightly. "The battle's not over, the least I can do is heal you." and with that, she let out a soft song. It filled the five, making them feel feather-light, and cleansed. The world blurred for a moment and thier breath slipped away.

All returned to normal but a moment later.

 

Valaina quickly followed the Erthian and drew her two long knives from her back. They went outside and ran towards the Neliathan. They reached it as it was knocking down yet another building.

"How should we attack it?" Valaina asked looking aruond.

 

Bara eyed the Alettai as she had destroyed the creature and left. He frowned faintly before with a flick of his wings, lifted into the air a bit high, searching for where help was needed, blood still ran slowly down his arms, one hand, blood dripped of the finger tips, the other, the blood slid down the blade, blood feeding the bit of fire still encasing the sword.

After a moment of searching he spotted Kael and Val and (anyone else with them) and with a powerful thrust of his fire wings, he flew toward them, droping a bit heavily beside them, cocking his head, eyeing the creature they were heading after,"Looks like you could use a little help huh?"

 

As they reached the creature, Mirial flicked her head back and saw Bara as he came. "Your bleeding..."
As the others drew thier swords, Mirial took BAra's arms, and sang a bit, then turned her attntion to the fight, after he had healed.

She pulled out a thin case of throwing daggars and began....

 

Kael was staring at the monster and was thinking of a stragety, even as he was healed and when the others came. "This Neliathan is even more stupid than others I faced. I doubt it even knows where it is or where it's going. ..the best way to attack would be...."

As Mirial was about to step foward, Kael put a hand on her shoulder.

"Confuse it." He said in answer to Val's question but directed at everyone, his voice remaining soft and emotionless. "And don't be hasty."

He then glanced at Bara's wings, "You wont be able to sustain those for much longer so use them...dont waste them....fly to the head and attack there."

Kael looked back at the monster,"The rest should attack from different directions...if you want to beat it."

He then streached his arm in front of him, with his open palm directed at the creature, with his sword gripped tightly in his other hand, "Go and attack now...I'll distract it...." there was a soft green glow coming from his hand and the ground beneath their feet began to shake.

"You should move from me..."

Suddenly the ground began to crack in a trail that headed for the Neliathan. When it reached right underneath the monster, the ground shot up in a tall spike. The hard rock simply cracked and broke against the dark-spawn's hard belly, but it did seem to have hurt the creature since it roared in pain and turned its glaring eyes at the Erthian. It then whiped it's tail in their direction...
